Blue Lagoon was a great start to our Iceland trip even on a cold, rainy windy day.
We headed straight from the Reykjavík airport to the Blue Lagoon upon arrival in Iceland. The day was cold, rainy and windy but we had purchased the tickets in advance and could not check into our hotel until noon so we decided to go. We loved it. The Blue Lagoon was not crowded first thing in the morning. The hot springs made the weather forgettable. We swam around and enjoyed our drinks. We were still on east coast time so it was like a late night cocktail for us. My husband even participated in and liked two of the three masks included in the premium package. Great way to start the trip!

Fabulous treat for a bit of pampering
Really great spa experience for two. We took a premium package as birthday treat and although busy is done so well by Icelandanders! Pool is incredibly warm and the views are great. You can take a drink whilst bathing and looking out to sea. We had a lovely cold day with bright blue skies which was magical. Lots of people take cameras into the pool but forgot to enjoy the experience as the most important thing seemed to be recording the experience. You can buy waterproof camera bags if you must 😱 The ritual is very interesting with cold plunge pool ,sauna , steam cold mist and salt scrub. The view from the enclosed sauna is great. Totally recommend and belive higher quality than blue lagoon.

        Sky Lagoon private transfer
The communication was really easy and very responsive. The pick up was easy and the drivers were friendly and easy to get a hold of. The sky lagoon….what can I say that hasn’t been said. Incredible. Amazing. A must do

        A must see
Fantastic thermal spa. A really incredible, breath-taking place. Afterwards the bus driver went out of his way to make sure he dropped us as close to our apartment as possible. Great service!

        Fabulous 25th Wedding Anniversary Trip!
We booked the full package with transfer, private changing room and 7-step ritual. We were not disappointed - absolutely amazing experience, from the personalised check-in, on-trend changing room with own shower & towels & showergel provided, to swimming outside in wonderfully warm water to the lagoon area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, to taking part in the 7-step ritual - especially with the fabulous view from the sauna! There’s also a swim-up bar in the lagoon, and when you get out there’s a cafe and souvenir area - we needed to get the bus back so didn’t try it but it looked a lovely place to eat! Totally recommend, and go for the full package - it’s worth it!

        This a super cool experience!
Warm geothermal waters, hot steam, salt scrub, sauna with a view, what is there not to like. We got the private shower and changing room, a pretty cool upgrade if you can do it. We participated in the 7-step ritual which was such a relaxing and invigorating experience. We did the spa the next day after our glacier hike , and it worked out perfect for relieving any tension or soreness we may have had. The place is beautiful, sensual, and the views are expansive. We actually saw the erupting volcano plume as we looked over the ocean, such and Icelandic experience!

        Brilliant Experience…
First experience in thermal spa - amazing experience. Plunge pool was great too - staff was super friendly and it was easy to get around inside. The thermal hot spring has a bar which was great.. Definitely will revisit when we come back to Iceland!

A good day at The Blue Lagoon
An excellent service provided by Marina Travel via bus transfer 5 minutes from my hotel in central Reyjkavik. Communications about pick-up and timings with Marina Travel through Viator were good. The bus service was prompt and well organised. The Blue Lagoon is well worth a visit and the geothermal pool is wonderfully warm and relaxing. Changing rooms are very clean and easy to access. Sauna, waterfall shower, steam room and towels are included in the Comfort tour which is absolutely fine (the price includes one silica mud face mask and one drink) but the Premier tour gives you more options if you want to try the different face masks, wear a robe (not necessary as you're in the water most of the time) and have more drinks. Lockers are accessed and extras are paid for via a wristband system. The cafe is clean and fine for a quick sandwich (but not much choice) while waiting for the bus. The spa products can be bought not only at the Blue Lagoon shop but also in central Reykjavik and at the airport - however they are VERY expensive and I used the complimentary Blue Lagoon products (shampoos, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion) when getting dressed. The bus was very clean and comfortable and the driver (who spoke very good English) was very helpful. Including the journey (45 minutes each way) the whole experience is about 4 hours.

        Unique Experience
If you go to Iceland the Blue Lagoon is a must. Such a unique experience that leaves you feeling relaxed and invigorated. We travelled straight from the airport to the Blue Lagoon when we first arrived in Iceland, and then from the Lagoon to our hotel on one of the shuttle buses. It was easy to navigate. Your luggage can be safely deposited onsite whilst you enjoy your pamper experience and collected just before you depart. This was the highlight of our trip and would definitely like to do this again when next in Iceland.

        A journey to Sky Lagoon…..
There are beautiful moments that one can experience on a vacation and never forget.  My visit to Sky Lagoon in Iceland was one of those moments.  I find myself thinking of this lovely place and simply reminiscing of time gone by but silently thinking that one day I will definitely return. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax in the warm thermal water of Iceland, Sky Lagoon is definitely the perfect place.  It is a place so relaxing that you forget about all your troubles. There is just something so mesmerizing about a thermal bath that can’t be explained in words. You must experience it for oneself to fully understand its impact.  The soothing thermal waters at Sky Lagoon will definitely take you on a journey from stress to a moment of tranquility.    Sky Lagoon is a short four mile drive from downtown Reykjavik.  I decided to select the ritual which provides you with the best experience ever.  The cost for The Ritual, roundtrip transportation for one adult and a child age 12 was $449.00 US dollars.  (Please note that only children over 12 are allowed and must be supervised at all times. ) I booked this excursion via Marina’s Travel and I am going to tell you it was the best money I ever spent for a moment of relaxation.   The driver for our roundtrip transfers was amazing.  He was punctual, friendly, and extremely professional.  However, the transportation was only the beginning to a day that was so enjoyable.   Sky Lagoon has a very professional staff. Upon registering you will receive a bracelet that allows you to purchase drinks while in the lagoon sort of like a swim up bar but far more classy.  Then, you are escorted to the private showers if you purchased The Ritual.  There are lockers available for your belongings and the shower area is exceptional and everything that you need is available: towels, shampoo, and body wash all for your use.  Once you are dressed in your swim attire the magic begins.  The Ritual is a multi step process and it is one that you definitely will enjoy.  The cold plunge is the hardest step however, it is so much fun. I would definitely say an essential part to the entire experience.  I suggest not rushing through the process and definitely taking a moment to enjoy a cocktail or nonalcoholic drink.  I never felt overcrowded while visiting the Sky Lagoon and all the guests were respectful to each other.  You might even meet some new friends.  We were fortunate to meet another mother and her son from Canada and they were an absolute pleasure.   I think my favorite part of our visit was receiving a bowl of body scrubs which are applied to the skin. Once applied you enter the steam room for a couple of minutes. My skin was so soft after that process.  I immediately fell in love with the body scrubs and thus, I purchased four jars to take home for myself and a few friends.  Once the ritual was completed we returned to the lagoon to simply take in a few more moments of this warm thermal comfort.  I must admit that Sky Lagoon was so memorable and relaxing that I would take another 3,725 miles trip to return for just one day.   Once The Ritual was over we took a moment to visit the cafe.  The cafe is quiet, cozy, and relaxing which provides the perfect ending to your visit at Sky Lagoon. Iceland is the one amazing country however, I think no visit is complete without a thermal experience.  I definitely recommend Sky Lagoon because their facility is aesthetically pleasing, the employees provide superior customer service, and Sky Lagoon provides the ultimate relaxation experience.

        Fantastic Evening
Our booking was for 6pm until 9pm so obviously it was in the dark. We had a private changing room and shower and had booked for the 7 step ritual. What a fantastic experience. To be in a really warm lagoon while the temperature above the lagoon is -5 was surreal. It exceeded all our expectations and in my opinion it was even better being an evening event. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the staff were excellent. In my opinion this is a ‘must do’ experience.

        Totally Worth It!!
One of our favorite experiences in Iceland. We got the date package, which came with private changing area, a free drink, 7 step ritual and a beautiful food platter at the end. The water was deliciously warm. We sat in it and sipped champagne in the main lagoon for a long time. It was scenic, very steamy and picturesque. The ritual was great and left us with smooth skin. Afterwards the platter was delightful. This was really an experience to remember.

Iceland is a unique and interesting country
Marina Travel organized a 7 day bespoke tour tour for me and my family of 9 From-the pick up at the airport everything was organized impeccably, we had a great itinerary experiencing glacier hikes, ice cave, snow hikes, and incredible views Sitting in a thermal pool while enjoying a beer while it snowed was a truly unique experience The hotels were excellent as was the food Robert, out guide was amazing full of interesting facts and anecdotes making sure we were safe and entertained at all times Iceland is a great country to visit, very different from any other country we have been to, we did find it rather expensive but worth it I would recommend Marina Travel to anyone wanting to visit this unique island.

It's was incredible. The place is just stunning. The trip was so well organised by Lyn, with the right activity and venues planned so we'll.
Our guide Snorri was a legend. So funny and made the trip even better.
We saw so many great things. It's hard to describe, but my advice is, go on the glacier walk, do the ice cave and go husky dog sledding. Oh and diamond beach and the glacier lagoon
