On this romantic trip we will head out of the City to a location somewhere away from light pollution from human beings. The lights are best enjoyed in pitch black. That´s where you really get to enjoy their spectacular beauty and mysterious dance across the night sky. It is never the same, the dance is always different. It´s a reminder that everything is fleeting, nothing is constant, everything is in motion and the Northern lights or Aurora Borealis don´t dance by request. They dance when they decide to dance.

Amazing!!!
We went to Iceland on the 17th March for 4 nights, on the 18th March we went to search for the northern lights as it was a really clear night. At first there was nothing, and our tour guide, Gunnar, said we would leave at 12 if the lights didn’t appear because people were getting tired and cold. Like magic, at 12 they started to show and got stronger and stronger, they were really visible and looked amazing! After everyone had taken pictures and enjoyed the lights, we all got back in the van to leave, when Gunnar shouted for us all to get back out again, when we stepped out of the van the sky was literally covered with dancing lights, it was so magical! Gunnar really wanted to make the experience the best he could for us all, and he took pictures of everyone under the lights. Making our trip even more special, my partner asked me to marry him under the lights and even though Gunnar had packed away his camera, he didn’t hesitate to go and get it back out again to take some personal, special pictures of me and my partner. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour and tour guide, thank you Gunnar!

Northern Lights!! It took 2 times but I saw them
Mar 2020
The first trip I booked I was super hopeful. After driving around for hours, we got nothing. So they rebooked me for a later date, which was canceled because of weather. Well I had one chance left, and I am so glad I went out. We had a great show. I think her name was Faye was awesome!! She found them right away and even took pictures with us and the lights. Im glad it worked.

We saw them!
Mar 2020
Our first trip was cancelled due to the weather conditions but second time out was an excellent experience despite the cold! Our German tour guide, Fay? was hilarious and very informative and provided a supply of hot chocolate and cinnamon buns which were very welcome! Our small party met up with another small group headed by Omar who was also very friendly and entertained us with funny stories whilst we were looking at the skies. We were lucky enough to be rewarded with a good show of the lights and Omar took all our photographs with them in the background with his amazing camera - these were sent to us the next day, our camera phones just didn't cut it!! Thank you for a wonderful, unforgettable trip!!

Northern lights with 248 year old Omar
Mar 2020
Omar is one of a kind! He gave this tour a warm, friendly and funny touch. We took the tour twice because we didn’t see the lights the first time, even though he took us to all kind of different places and gave his best. We were lucky the second time and saw beautiful lights. He had a lot of fun facts about Iceland, elves and trolls. We totally recommend a tour with him and we had a really good time!

Mixed feelings
Mar 2020
1. We saw the northern lights....it was partly cloudy so it was ok but not spectacular.....actually a wee bit disappointing. But nature does what it likes and we knew that before we went out. 4/5
2. The driver was excellent. Picked us up on time. He was effortlessly informative and funny. It had snowed heavily the day before and the further out of the city we went, the more snow was on the road surface- I never felt unsafe at any point. Thanks driver!! 5/5
3. It was freezing cold and I have a new found appreciation of what wind-chill actually means. It was a treat to experience that type of weather....just for a short time though. Wouldn’t have liked to have had to go for a wee. 5/5
4. Beautiful scenery in its own way and interesting to drive out through the outskirts of the city. 5/5
5. Hot chocolate and buns were very nice and added to the experience. 4/5
6. Glad it was only a small bus load and not a full coach load. 4/5
7. Duration was just about right. 5/5
8. The driver used a properly set up camera to get photos of everyone with the Aurora in the background and had them emailed to us the next morning....a good efficient service and good photographs. 5/5

I’ll do this again the next time I go to Reykjavík.

Fun trip but no luck on northern lights
Mar 2020 • Business
The trip was really good, our guide was a wonderful young German woman who told us funny tales and gave info on northern lights etc. We got a nice cup of cocoa but they ran out of cinnamon buns unexpectedly :( We didn't see any northern lights although the conditions were favourable and the guides didn't give up easily. The only (and I mean only) thing I could suggest as an improvement would be to have all the internal lights switched off during travel and when waiting in the bus while it's running, cause that would help see out the windows better :) But that is truly the only thing and might not be possible due to any number of reasons.

Thank you so much for a brilliant trip out to see the Northern lights!
I was really surprised that we got to see them that early into the trip and had such a good view!

Gummi was a really great guide and told us lots of interesting information and stories! He was super friendly and kind!
The other tour guides especially the gentleman who took the photos was also great and friendly and very funny!

Really enjoyable trip overall!

Thor our tour guide was very informative, was obviously very experienced in finding sites for the Northern lights viewing. Hot chocolate and bunns were great, and the lights were amazing.
