What to Expect
Day 1

Your five day tour starts with a morning Reykjavik pick up. From the capital of Iceland you will head to the popular Ring Road route where your first activity, a short stunning hike around Grabrok crater will follow after an approx. 1.5 long drive. Unique Hvitserkur basalt rock stack will then follow. Up next its time to relax and enjoy some local beer at a local Microbrewery where you will get a beer tasting of some of Iceland's best craft brews. From the brewery the town of Dalvik where you will spend the night is only a short drive away.

Day 2

Your second day starts with a visit to the stunning waterfall of Gods or Godafoss as the locals know it. After a photo stop you will take a short drive to the region of Lake Myvatn, one of Iceland's most preserved nature reserves characterised by stunning volcanic landscape. En route to the lake you will make a stop by Skutustadagigar pseudo craters formed almost 2.500 years ago. Located close by you will also find Dimmuborgir lava fields and Viti crater, a 300 meter wide crater formed in the early 1700s. After exploring Viti, Namaskard geothermal fields are our next highlight, a region filled with bubbling hot springs, mud pods and fumaroles. After a full day of exploring you will make your way back to your Dalvik hotel, making one stop by the beautiful Myvatn Nature Baths, the Blue Lagoon of the North of Iceland. Here you will have the option of bathing in the milky-blue water for a small fee.

Day 3

Your last day in North Iceland starts with an amazing whale watching tour where the success rate of spotting the gentle giants of the sea reaches 99% during the summer months. Here you will have the chance to try your sea angling skills as well where the catch of the day is barbecued after wards. From Davlik you will make your way to Reykjavik where you will spend the night. En route to Reykjavik the turf farm of Glaumbaer a UNESCO site will be visited.

Day 4

Now on to the stunning south shore of Iceland. Your first stop will be the very unique Seljalandsfoss waterfall which you can walk behind. Next up is its neighbouring waterfall, Skogafoss, one of Iceland's most visited attractions. Heading further south you will visit the famous black sand beach of Reynisfjara where you can stroll along the black sands and admire the picturesque basalt column cave and Reynisdrangar peak before continuing your drive along the magical landscapes of lava fields and mountain ranges making a stop by the small town of Vik before reaching your hotel for the night in the Vatnajokull area.
