    Blue Lagoon Iceland
Great experience, staff was wonderful, everyone was helpful as we really had no idea what we were doing. They only book X amount of tickets so it is not over crowded, which made for a nice relaxing soak. Water was warm but not overly hot, parents brought their babies in. Saunas also available to use if you like.

everything I imaged and more....TIP go directly from airport remember you can not check-in to hotel til 2pm. You can relax in lagoon, take a nap in the relaxation room then shower and you are refreshed for the day

    A Unique, Relaxing Experience
Even though this is a site mainly for tourists, remember, you are a tourist. It's well worth soaking in the lagoon while in Iceland. I suggest the premium package that includes a bathrobe and flip flops in addition to a towel. It also includes a cleansing mask and a moisturizing mask, and a free drink (smoothie or wine.) You must shower before putting on your swimsuit, but the shower stalls have doors, and there are dressing rooms with doors as well. Allow about two hours for the entire experience. If you don't have a rent car, you can take a tour bus from the airport or from Reykjavik. Have fun.

    Blue Lagoon
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Iceland. We upgrade to the premium package on the day, which included bath robes, slippers, towels and two drinks. Also includes face masks. Our ticket entry was at 11am and was pleasantly surprised on how easy the whole process was. Not to busy just right.

    Blue Lagoon disappoints...
An underwhelming experience. We expected much more. The Blue Lagoon is an overrated tourist experience. Very crowded. The changing room and shower for men is very crowded and unpleasant . There are much nicer hot springs , baths in Iceland and less costly.

    A must do!
The Blue Lagoon is obviously very famous, and rightly so. It is stunning and so fun. The masks we got were incredible. 3 days later my skin still feels amazing. While there are thermal pools all over Iceland, this is definitely a must do at least once. There is so much more than just that famous lagoon though. We got smoothies at a swim up bar, enjoyed time in a steam cave, sauna and steam room, stood under a hot waterfall, and tried out 2 of the 4 masks they have to offer. The locker rooms were spotless and the robe & slippers were a nice touch with the premium package. It was very helpful to have that out on the deck.

Wasn't sure what to expect but LOVED it!
Originally had not planned on visiting Blue Lagoon since I had heard it was a tourist trap but decided that we had to try it regardless. Thankfully we didn't listen to the bad reviews because the 4 of us that went LOVED IT! Great way to start out our week in Iceland, very relaxing and fun experience! One drink and face mask was included but anything else that you want to purchase is a bit pricey.

    a unique place
A unique place you must see if you are visiting Iceland.Very beautiful and relaxing. Unfortunately overcrowded, too many people in the changing rooms pushing each other to get to the tight lockers.

You have to do this at least once!
This is a beautiful place and a unique experience. The thermal waters from deep within the earth flow into this lagoon creating a mineral laden milky blue water. The water is supposed to be beneficial to skin disorders, but ether way it is warm and enjoyable. The day we went they had 40mph winds - so my head was cold since I showered (required) before getting in. My advice would be to not shower your head if it is windy - as your head will get cold. We went around 9pm in August , so it was still light, but saw the moon rise over the lava formations surrounding the lagoon - very picturesque! One warning I heard from others in our group is that if you are allergic to sulfur you might break out. We didn't see any warning about this - and we had no problems. It did not stink like sulfur. A pleasant experience AND you can check that off your bucket list!

    Worth the money
It is expensive, but it was worth it. It was really relaxing and we loved it! Our skin felt great, and we had a wonderful time enjoying the thermal pool. THey require reservations and seemed to keep the people there at any one time to a minimum so it didnt feel too crowded.

Blue Lagoon is a MUST GO for Iceland trip. Yes, it is a little expensive, but we loved it. We also had lunch at Lava restaurant, which was great too. We were there end of July and was not too busy. we enjoyed a lot.

A must do but disappointing at times
I have been to the blue lagoon twice now, and whilst it is something everyone should do here because of the natural beauty I cant help but think that tourism has taken away some of its natural beauty. It can be really busy at times, and with people sat around drinking alcohol it can feel very touristy. At busy times it can look quite dirty with empty cups lying around, and body hairs etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the amenities such as changing room etc are nice.

    Great and relaxing
We had a very nice trip to the blue lagoon. It was tidy, clean and well run. Not to crowded and very relaxing. Just one little advise: do eat before entering, because buying food in the cafe is expensive.

Yes it's touristy but still a great time!
We were there early in the morning which was perfect. It was not very crowded and we could move around freely in the lagoon. Our package included a free drink at the bar, which we enjoyed, and a mask, which provided some fun photos! Showers are a must before entering the lagoon but the individual shower stalls were clean and since it was not crowded we were in the lagoon very quickly.
