Once in a lifetime ride with John
We enjoyed our trip from start to the end. You don't sit in that kind of truck every day. John explained us facts, has great humor and perfect taste in music. Nature is really powerfull and made those breathtaking views. Thank you for great experience! I can just highly recommend.

Unforgettable Snorkeling with an Amazing Guide, Despite Some Missteps
I had an incredible time snorkeling in the Silfra Crack in Iceland. The experience was breathtaking, and Nicholas, our guide, was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole adventure unforgettable. Unfortunately, the experience was slightly marred by a British woman who helped with some of the logistics. Her attitude was quite belittling, making my friends and me uncomfortable. It seemed like she was annoyed by our lack of experience, which put a damper on things. However, Nicholas more than made up for it with his kindness and professionalism. Overall, I loved every second when Nicholas was leading us, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor!

Iceland was amazing, and Siggi was a great ambassador
Iceland was amazing, and Troll's 6-day minibus tour lead by the effervescent Siggi made sure we had the best possible experience. He's like a viking come to life! He's joyful, kind, and passionate. The world's biggest Celine Dion fan! A great driver also. At no point did we feel rushed, and Siggi even managed to find an extra pair of hiking boots when my wife unexpectedly found her Blundstones falling apart. We saw so many wonderful Icelandic sites: glaciers, waterfalls, lava fields, geysers, ram sorting (!), ice caves, icebergs, icelandic horses, black sand beaches, rugged coastlines, lighthouses, geothermal sites, the world's loneliest shower, whales, and amazing views of the Milky Way. We ended up doing the optional Vök baths in part because of Siggi's enthusiasm for them ("By the end of the night you'll be medium rare!") and we're so glad we did. Also really enjoyed the lobster pizza at Ósinn Restaurant in Höfn, another Siggi recommendation. We did not end up seeing the Northern Lights, but could have: Siggi made a point of pointing out where on our tour we were likely to see them, and on one night when he discovered they were occurring, he notified us via our group chat (it was ~11:30pm and my wife and I had already fallen asleep, but some of our bus-mates were still awake and saw them). Would definitely come back, and would seek out Siggi if we did!

          Don't use this company
Do not use this company. My wife and I went there last week for a 5 hour expedition tour in the glacier and when we arrived at the site, we were told our names were in the list twice, but not to worry they were going to let their office know there was a double booking error, before we left at the end of the tour we had the same conversation with them and they advised not to worry they had spoken to the office, to just send them an email an explain what happened. When we arrived back home we checked the credit card statement and yes we were booked twice, we contacted them and that's when their true colors came out, first they tried to treat the issue as we were going to cancel after the date, then they tried saying we had booked thru a travel agent, then that they were not aware of the issue and the people on site don't know anything about bookings, then that they didn't have our money because we used a third party vendor and provided an email for this vendor, so I replied all parties involved and she (Anna) answered removing him , when I answered back asking about it and telling her the best way to resolve the issue was all the parties involved copied in the communications, she denied removing them but kept insisting she didn't had our funds until the end of the month and she can't refund us. The website for the Islandic tours (third party vendor)replied that they had checked the transaction and it indeed looked like it was booked twice, to quote them exactly: It appears the booking was made through the widget from Bokun that is integrated on our website. We didn't take any action on this booking, but it seems there was a double booking- the client is indeed booked twice for the same tour. This seems to be a clear mistake, and in my opinion, it would be fair to offer a refund. However, since we cannot process a refund if you are going to charge us for it, the final decision rest with you. After this last communication, no further responses from Anna /Troll Expeditions, luckily for us we used American Express and we don't have to wait for Anna to do the fair thing.

          Good Experience
I had the same guide for that tour, which was great. At first it was raining, but the farther we drove out of Reykjavik, it got sunnier. The beaches were awesome, the tour is definitely worth of doing.

          Good Experience
The tour was great, we were so lucky with the weather. Definitely worth doing. The waterfalls were so awesome, too many tourists, but it is what it is. Our guide was nice and very informative about Iceland in general. The glacier hike was fun and the black beach good to experience even for a short while.

          A great and fun experience
A unique experience getting to snorkel between 2 continents in a natural fresh water lake. The safety briefing we got was excellent as was the equipment and dry suits we were given. We were briefed throughout the activity whilst our guide, Daniel, regularly checked in with us to ensure that we were safe and comfortable. Daniel was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions, he was also a lot of fun and great company for the time we spent with him.

          MEMORABLE
Our guides were absolutely wonderful. Emilio, Nico and Bjorn were informative and entertaining. Emilio thoroughly supported us through each step of our snorkeling adventure. What an amazing experience! Our coach driver, Bjorn was full of great stories and fun facts. Since our tour participants stayed on time at each stop, we were able to take a couple of extra stops for short detours. I highly recommend this tour!

An excellent trip. We were given good stories and explanations of the history by Bjorn. We had adequate time at each stop and the tour was exactly as described. I would thoroughly recommend this tour, it is small group which is ideal as you feel you are getting personal attention

Tour guide Björn was masterful. He had a great, home grown perspective of the island to offer and he was very entertaining. We really enjoyed the pace of the tour and all of the interesting places along with Björn’s unique additions and explanations.

Went in winter so daylight hours are reduced. I was worried that this would impact what we saw however our guide, Magnus planned the tour very well so that we didn't miss out on anything. Day 2 was better than day 1 - but due to the long distances to travel there was less to be seen on day 1 as it largely involved seeing sights such as waterfalls and the beach on the way to Jokulsarlon. This just meant that we were able to start and see everything in Jokulsarlon on day 2 before heading back.
The order of events was different to that on the website but we did see everything.
Magnus was very good - he was informative and helpful. Unlike other guides we had over our stay, who seemed to cut timings down on places we were visiting or missing stops out as it seemed they wanted to get back quicker, he was very good at ensuring that we got the most out of our trip.
We didn't see the Northern Lights but thought this was unlikely due to the cloud cover.
If there was one thing to improve it would be for day 1 to include something else (if possible). We did spend 45 mins at a service

We visit nearly all the scenery spots in south coast during this compact tour. The driver also the guide arranged the time properly under extremely uncertain whether. That was a really nice experience especially the wonderful Icelandic music in the minibus.

We all received a warm welcome from our great guide Thorsteinn. He managed to go to every place in the best time, like some amazing waterfalls when the sun light was just spectacular. This is a great tour, amazing places, unique scenarios and a surprise for my birthday by our guide Thorsteinn... Great music on board, safe driving. .. everything went perfect!

It was a really nice trip I would definitely recommend it :)
Our guide was called ási and he told us many stories about Iceland on our way and also showed us different Icelandic music so we got the chance to learn something about Iceland and the drive didn’t seemed so long. It was really fun and the landscapes are just wonderful! It is the perfect tour to get to know Iceland and the most beautiful places like diamond beach and the glacier vatnajökull! It is definitely worth it.
The hotel we stayed in was really cute and had a nice view.

We were so glad that we did this 2 day tour of the south coast that allowed us to go all the way to the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon and the diamond beach which were two of our favorite sites on the trip and definitely worth the extra time and distance. Of course the glacier hike was a huge highlight as well. The two day tour allowed us to take our time at each of the sites, and our guide even squeezed in a few extra stops that were not on the itinerary. Speaking of our guide, Maggie has to be the best there is in Iceland. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of Iceland's history and culture really made the trip. She was happy to answer all of our questions from start to finish.

One last note...we stayed overnight at Gerdi Guesthouse which was a quaint family owned inn where we were shown great hospitality and had a delicious dinner after our glacier hike.

The minibus two day tour was perfection. It had all the must do spots along with an adventure filled activity of the ice cave hike. The pace was perfect for an active couple and our guide (Palli) made sure we were at the right places at the right time, timing our sunset at diamond beach or looking for a clear day to explore seljalandsfoss. Best of all, we even got to catch the northern lights during our stay. Palli drove us safely and patiently answered all our questions, while sharing his country, culture and cuisine with us. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time with our tour guide Thales! (Hope we have the spelling right). He was very informative and planned the trip so that the weather would not interfere with our places to visit. He even was able to bring us to two other locations that weren’t on our tour but we’re fantastic to see! Thales was so friendly and even took some amazing pictures of us and our group throughout the tour. If you want to have an experience that you will never forget, I highly recommend to pick this excursion!

The weather during our trip was not very stable (welcome to iceland :P) but yet of super attentive guide Iwona managed the whole trip very well and made us feel relaxing and comfortable during this 2 day long trip. She was very thoughtful and took a good care of us. We may not encountered the very best time visiting south iceland but definitely want to join again!
