Exploring Iceland’s Wonders with Exceptional Guides Lili & Hawk
We had an incredible day exploring Iceland, thanks to our fantastic guides! Lili, our tour guide and driver, took us from Reykjavik to Vik and back with unforgettable stops at Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. She was not only an excellent driver but also wonderfully informative and friendly, sharing fascinating stories and insights about Icelandic history, culture, and the stunning landscapes we passed. Her warm personality made the journey truly special! At the Katla ice caves, Hawk guided us through a surreal, otherworldly experience. He struck the perfect balance between being informative and entertaining, explaining the unique features of the caves while keeping us laughing with his great sense of humor. Even the bumpy ride to the glacier was fun, thanks to his lively energy and expert navigation. This tour was the perfect mix of breathtaking sights, fascinating knowledge, and great company. Huge thanks to Lili and Hawk for making it such an unforgettable adventure—we highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Iceland!

          Overall great experience! Would recommend.
The tour was great and well organised. Our tour guide Lili was super friendly, super helpful and really cared for our safety. The short hike up to the ice cave was a great experience too. Our other tour guide for the hike "Hawk" was really fun and I felt safe throughout the experience. The views up in the ice cave were simply breathtaking.

Unforgettable Adventure with Lili and Hawk!
We had an absolutely amazing ice-caving adventure! The trip from Reykjavik to Vik and back was incredibly smooth, thanks to Lili, who was a fantastic driver. She ensured our safety while navigating the wintry roads, and her friendly demeanor made the long drive enjoyable. The highlight of the trip, of course, was the ice cave itself, and our guide, Hawk, made the experience unforgettable. He was not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly fun, with a great sense of humor that kept everyone entertained. Hawk shared fascinating facts about the glacier and the cave, making the adventure both educational and awe-inspiring.

          Incredible Solo Trip!
Such an incredible introduction to Iceland! I was traveling solo, and as it was my first time in Iceland and I didn't want to risk driving in winter I joined the small group tour. Our guide Krzysztof (aka as Kristof, Kris) was absolutely amazing, hugely knowledgeable about all the sites, answered everyone's questions, and handled the last minute schedule changes when some activities had to be changed around a bit due to high winds very smoothly. Overall a great trip, can highly recommend to anyone doing a stopover in Iceland!

          Magical Evening
What an amazing night! Pick up was super quick and easy. We had the pleasure of having Palli as our guide for the night and he did a fantastic job. He was very knowledgable at what he does. During the journey, he got a call from his colleague saying she could already see the lights from where we was heading. We got lucky and saw them early in the evening and got loads of photos and hot chocolate which was a nice touch.

Too beautiful to capture in words or photos. You'll want to go again!
A great way to get your feet wet with Icelandic hiking. We had been in craters and inside a volcano, and this was the time to climb the opposite direction towards the sky! Guna was a fantastic guide who kept close watch over the group and shared a lot of information about the area with us. My travel mates are capable hikers, but visiting Iceland for the first time and not familiar with Landmannalaugar, having a guided group for our first excursion here was worth it. The hike isn't terribly technical, but it's moderately long and does scale a mountain, so anyone doing this should be in good health. The hike is paid off with breathtaking views of the painted mountains, largest obsidian field in Iceland, and surrounding landscapes.

The trip was just the right length to be able to see the highlights of the Golden Circle without spending the whole day there. Tour guide was friendly and very informative, bus was timely and clean. Highly recommend.

          Chasing northern lights
I felt our tour guide made everyone feel welcomed. Came in confident we were going to have a successful night. Took pics of us and at the end gave us some hot cocoa and goodies to enjoy. I believe it was with Siggy if I caught his name correctly. Thank you for this successful tour and kindness

Your with Palli was fantastic!! Very energetic, thorough, and knowledgeable. Not only did he teach us a bit about the lights and Iceland but he goes the extra effort with hot chocolate and cookies once you’re there. We got lucky and saw the lights at the first stop but wish it could’ve lasted longer just to learn more from Palli! Highly recommend.

          Great Guide! Great Tour!
Had the best ice caving tour with them! The hike was a bit steep for me, but our tour guide HELGI was so patient with me & helped me throughout. Our guide was also funny and gave us a lot of knowledge about the ice cave. A MUST DO ACTIVITY WHEN YOURE IN ICELAND!

My wife and myself had booked for the 8 day tour of Iceland, supposed to be from 8th August 2020. We had paid £ 2727.81 for both of us. Due to the Corona virus pandemic, we could not go on the tour and we cancelled the trip 1 month before the scheduled date. We were promised that we would get 90% of the ticket price but later the company went back on its word. They have not paid the refund so far and they are offering us a voucher to go on a future tour. We are shocked that a company can behave like this - not honouring their terms and conditions which state clearly that refund should be paid.

First I want to say is that this tour allows you to see everything you could want to see in Iceland, with that said this will be a honest review. If you have issues hiking, or walking on uneven surfaces, this tour may not be for you; it is an ADVENTURE TOUR. I walk with a cane, and was able to do most, but climbing the glacier, or the volcano challenged me, and I had to know when to stop.

Outside of Reykjavik the town are sparse, and with that, there are limited places to stop for when nature calls, or food & snacks. The “hotel” accommodations are not like North American hotels, they remind me of barracks or dorm rooms.

Due to the 11-12 hours a day sightseeing and driving, when we stopped for the day (around 8-9pm to eat dinner) traps you into where you can eat, and with a limited menu & high price tag ($$$) to go with it. The first two nights we had the same three meal choices (Artic char, lamb shank, or pasta (vegan)). If you have any dietary issues, you will be challenged to find meals to accommodate you.

After the first “Artic Adventures 6 day Ring Road Tour” We ended up back in Reykjavik, and you are worn out from sitting in a tour van for 6 days for up to 11 hour days, we pushed it, and did the 7th day, and skipped the last day to get the COVID test needed to return to the US, and to spend some time shopping in Reykjavik.

In conclusion: Iceland is a beautiful & amazing country, and taking the tour was great to get to see the most of Iceland for the time. Would I do it again, yes, but probably differently. I would have used the whole 8 days to do the Ring Tour that originally scheduled for six days and compacted to 5 days to allow for the volcano hike on the 6th day.

The amazing diversity of Icelandic geography, history and culture expertly explored.
Also sharing this with an excellent driver guide and fellow mini bus tour participants.
The driver guide Krzysztof ( Christopher) was very enthusiastic in his praise for Icelandic life and culture which showed in his commentary and attempt to show as much of his adopted country as possible.
The life of a driver guide is not easy over 6 nights but he responded well to any weather or other hurdles that appeared.
I have travelled extensively throughout the world and can honestly state that this tour was a standout.

First time in Iceland. Few minor set backs. The tour was english, 6 from US, 2 from Hong Kong, 1 from Singapore. Guide somewhat understandable as he has a heavy accent, so when he says guide stuff its hard to understand. I would not deduct points as I think this is unfair. Scenery and nature are wonderful. We went on a winter, so most waterfalls are frozen, some sites unable to access due to deep snow. Got 1 day stuck in a hotel (4 hours in room and 8 hours in lobby) due to icy road closures. Was unable to do the itinerary, so had to go somewhere else, but felt like alternative sites are not as good as the original one from the itinerary. Went whale watching for 3 hours (part of itinerary) and saw no whales. I felt like this could be omitted or substituted with something, but this is not operator's fault. Like I said, still gave 5 points as Iceland is truly beautiful. Maybe summer or spring (if they have such season) is the best time to go. Went on a winter as this is low season for tourist. Tour was originally for 18 and 9 was present.

Excellent experience with an amazing guide. Karl was incredibly knowledgeable and ensured we had an incredible adventure. Weather in the winter of Iceland is unpredictable and we hit a little hiccup, but he did everything in his power to make sure we had the best trip with all the memorable experiences we could ask for. I would definitely encourage anyone who wanted to see a bunch of Iceland to look into all of Arctic Adventures options. Accommodations were nice, food was good, experiences were once in a lifetime. Great trip all around.

Truly memorable trip around the entire island of Iceland with Diddi. What a phenomenal guide! This trip involves a LOT of riding in a 19 passenger mini-bus, and Diddi made it exceptional by sharing all his knowledge of Icelandic history and culture. He also went out of his way to share some wonderful surprises, like a side trip to a puffin nesting ground, a visit to an Icelandic horse farm, and so much more.

Our tour package included 2 nights hotel stay before and after the tour. The hotels we stayed in all had their own personalities and ambience. They were clean and the amenities were sufficient for our nightly stay. I just wished that our before and after hotel was located closer to downtown Reykjavik. Our guide was very patient and went out of his way to accommodate the group's needs. Considering that he's only been with the company for about six months, he had done an excellent job showing us around. I'm sure with more in depth training, he'll be able to expound more on the history of all the wonderful sights along the way. We were able to see and do so much in those six days. The amazing sights and experiences cannot be beat!

An amazing trip! Ronan was very knowledgeable and showed the group many hidden gems. He did a great job staying on schedule and even surprising us with extra little hidden stops and views. He knows all the ins and outs of the island and made sure everything went smoothly.

This tour has it all, breathtaking waterfalls, many hiking activities, incredible landscapes, beaches, glacier, ice caves, whale watching, delicious food (many of them homemade which I guarantee you’ll love). Specially that fish soup in Dalvik… the best in the world! I traveled with my partner and had an unforgettable trip. Fortunately we got to see the Northern Lights, I believe the company chooses strategic places to stay, which certainly increases your chances of seeing them without having to move far away. And last but not least, we had the best tour guide ever! Ronan was such an enthusiastic guide, always going the extra mile for us, detailed oriented and his love for Iceland is very noticeable. All together this makes your experience more incredible than what you could imagine. Had so much fun with him. Highly recommend!
