Solvi was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, patient, and very kind. He took us to 3 different locations to view the lights. It was a fantastic show from mother nature. I would definitely try to schedule your excursion with him. Thank you for a once in a lifetime experience!

Had a great trip with Solvi. Interesting stories and information on the way out, and he found some excellent spots to see a spectacular display of the Northern Lights this evening. The hot chocolate on a very cold evening was also much appreciated!

Myself and my family with young children took this trip today Saturday 30th November on bus 8 (my apologies I can’t remember the bus driver and tour guides name) but they were the most professional and very friendly. It was a great way to visit some beautiful sights that even our 6 year old girls really enjoyed. Thanks again so much, I highly recommend Reykjavík Excursions for tours and Fly bus, they have made our holiday to Iceland seamless

Albert was a great tour guide. I loved his stories, and he handled the riders well. The scenery was incredible, of course. We got lucky and got the only sunny day all week (first week in September), and some of the last seats available.

I did not book any tour with Reykjavik Excursions but this review is just for Albert (The Tour Guide). We were visiting Yatri Tunga beach with another tour company and our guide left us stranded before our departure time (-12°C with high winds) and we were very lucky to see Reykjavik Excursions bus with Albert Tour guide. He was very friendly and called our tour company who called our tour guide who drove back to pick us up. He let us warm inside his bus till our guide arrived. I am very very thankful to him for saving our lives.

Was such a good tour Visited many places with epic scenery. Lots of brilliant pics taken Big shout out to margret and bjorn for entertaining us along the way

The observation point was a great location. Cloud cover was about 30%. Saw a few dim northern lights. We do realize it is dependent on sun activity.

Used reykjavik excursions for all the trips during my 5 night stay, every trip went like clockwork, all tour guides was friendly, knowledgeable and good at what they do, also used reykjavik excursions the last 2 visits to iceland, never had a single issue with them, excellent tours with excellent guides/drivers, they went above and beyond to make our tours the best they could, saw some amazing sights and enjoyed every minute, 10 out of 10,

Lots of beautiful places and views, stunning glacier and water fals. Also the guide Petur was great and shares a lot of info with us, he is like an enciclopedia.

We landed at 7 am and wanted to book an excursion to ensure we would stay up for the day and avoid jetlag. This tour did not start until noon so gave us time to get to our hotel (an early check in allowed us to shower and unpack), and walk to the bus station to start the tour. Our guide, Flossi, was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent historical and scientific information about our three stops. All three locations were spectacular. The only difference between this and the full day tour was that we had less time at each location, but since it was a winter tour an hour at each location was perfect.

Very nice visit to the geysers and waterfulall and visit to a greenhouse where they grow tomatoes was very interesting. Very enthusiastic and knowledgable guide Birta.

I was excited to see the Northern Lights on the first night of my holiday to Iceland as this had been on my bucket list for years! My group thought it was best to go with a tour, as we were unfamiliar with Iceland, and didn't want to be driving around in the dark. The coach was taken to Þingvellir National Park, which should have been an excellent dark area, except there were four other coaches there, and that many people all taking photos and shining torches in the dark. Coupled with the lit toilet block, and the coffee van that showed up shortly after our arrival, there was so much light pollution, we didn't see a thing! I'd save your money and drive to a lay-by somewhere - you'll have more chance of seeing them than we this tour. We did just that for the next three nights of our trip, and saw them every time.

This trip makes you understand better Iceland and of course experience the Geysers! Enjoy the amazing views of the country side and of course the iconic waterfalls. Our guide Albert was super nice!!
