If I could have tour guide like Walter I would! He’s amazing with a capital W for Whoop! Whoop ! Thank you for such a great Iceland experience from the sir names!
- K8580LTjacobj00Definitely worth itThis tour was so much fun. The views were spectacular and our tour guide Walter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
- E6124ZUandrewj00Golden Circle and Sky lagoonIt was an amazing trip. Beautiful scenery and photo spots. Our guide Walter keep it very fun and engaging, Would 10/10 recommend Walter if you go!
- jessicawH6672EW00Above and Beyond!Every stop was so great! Walter was amazing- he went above and beyond to show us extra fun things during our trip and kept it fun and light with his humor. He gave us plenty of time at each beautiful location. Book with them and hope to get Walter as your guide!!
- B3011ALmatthewf00Would highly recommend to EVERYONE, amazing tour with lots packed in fair price!! Would highly recommendThis tour was amazing ! Packed with lots of the golden circles top attractions with good length of time in between locations. Hotel pick up was great, started the day in the dark. Then first attraction when the sun raised! For the price, you will understand why it is! It’s a smaller group so your not packed with a massive coach waiting for people! It’s a mini bus so your more looked after. Golden circle was great! The volcanic Krater was deep. With it being icey they allowed people to borrow these grip things to add grip on the ice for free! The blue lagoon was closed at the time due to the volcano, and this tour didn’t hesitate to help change to a different geothermal spa for no extra price! We chose the sky lagoon which was well worth it! Choose this tour if you would like a great experience in Iceland
- Tour4850555326300Wonderful tonightWonderful tonight! We took a lot of pics, including the northern light. Our guide Ingo is awesome, his tour is the best. I really hope to come again and join the tour. Thank you!
- Guiness198900ExcellentExcellent! The tour guide was very friendly and he allowed enough time in each place. The Blue lagoon was closed so we were booked for the Sky lagoon instead - which was fabulous.
- Jeff D00Fabulous experienceWas a great experience and fabulous way to see some of the amazing experiences that Iceland has to offer. Great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly!
- X9442GQmelissal00Brilliant 🤩Our tour guide Ingo was great. A lot of information given and all unreal sites seen :) as a young couple would definitely recommend
- jacksH1816PO0010/10Guide: Walter We didn't want to hire a car so the one day bucklist tour meant we could enjoy and relax but also get the knowledge and context. The whole day was phenomenal. Not too late of a start. Weather in our favour. Getting to experience the sunrise over the mountains which were beautiful. More stops that I'd realised. Plenty of time in each stop that nothing ran stale and the whole day ran so smoothly. The bus facilities were great! And our 'maltese radio' tour guide's script was entertaining and packed. I swear he hardly took a breath. Expert service in an outstanding setting. I cant recommend enough! Definitely recommend the sky lagoon spa package too. My skin feels great!!
- 659keirak00Golden circle, Kerid crater and sky lagoonWalter was the best your guide ever! Super funny and didn’t overload us with information. Told us what we needed to know and then let us do our thing! was super fun and such an enjoyable experience
- QWinters00Geologist as a tour guide is GENIUS!We had a great time out with Bear! He’s so personable and willing to share all of his knowledge with us! As two science nerds on a fun trip to Iceland, this tour was top notch for us!! Takk Bear!
- amymJ9204TX00Great tourThe bus/van picked us up right at our hotel at the appointed time. Bus was comfortable, holding only 20. Our guide, Ragnar, was informative and interesting. The tour itself was breathtaking. We stopped at several locations to explore and get drinks and/or food or to use the facilities and shop. Due to the volcanic and seismic activity near the Blue Lagoon which closed that facility, we were given the option to go the Sky Lagoon instead. That was incredible and hard to leave after a full day.
- christopherrF251ER00Great trip Great guideGreat value tour. Thor T went above and beyond.................awesome guide. The sights are well worth a visit.
- Storyteller72318500FantasticBrilliant full on day out with a lovely rep thoroughly recommend! Secret lagoon was lovely and chilled

If you would have any expectations, they surely will be exceeded. Two days of highlights while travellling through the magical and quiet snowy and divers Icelandic landscapes was quite an experience. Glaciers, lavafields, ice caves, waterfalls, cliffs, glacier lake, black beach, volcanoes, icelandic horses, sunsets and sunrises, quality restaurants for lunch, free clamp-ons to use for your safety, stops at restrooms, ...
All means of transports during this tour are comfortable, heated, safe and conducted by experienced drivers (shuttle + ice caves). Food and comfort during the sleepover were good value.
David was our guide and we couldn't have wished for a better one. He's a professional driver with decent historical and geological knowledge of the entire surroundings and additional knowledge about ice climbing, glacier hiking, fishing,... We did multiple extra stops which were not scheduled and even got to see the northern lights twice for free ;-) As David is a dedicated guide, Iceland-lover and people entertainer I must say that this trip with Nice Travel was very very niiiice.
Additional to this tour I would advice to book a 1 day golden circle tour + a visit to Blue Lagoon so you have a 4 day program in which you already get to see a lot of Iceland. You must of course have a bit of luck wether or not you get the chance to see the northern lights.

Had the best two days exploring the south coast of Iceland with our guide David! The bus is small only 10 people on the tour, with Wifi and charging points. David, was a great guide - friendly and informative, and a great driver even in very windy and icy winter conditions. The stop for lunch on the first day is not to be missed. The Guesthouse accommodation is nothing special but totally fine for one night, we did however find the dinner overpriced. We had a chicken dish and two drinks each (two bottles of beer and two small glasses of wine) and it was £75! But that’s Iceland prices and totally worth it for the sights included. You can of course take a packed lunch and something for dinner and the breakfast (included) the next day is plentiful. 1000% recommend this tour!!

Nice Travel - what an amazing company, and what a wonderful experience! I cannot say enough how delightful the whole experience was, from the second I clicked 'book.'
Prior to even arriving in Iceland, I had a great feeling about this tour. Communication with Nice Travel was prompt and super friendly as we arranged things like boot hire and pick up details.
Our guide and driver was Mike, and as well as being really informative, he had a gentle almost dry sense of humour, which I loved. He also had a good balance of giving us plenty of useful and interesting information, without talking constantly, allowing time to just enjoy the ride and the views. Also, his road trip soundtrack was a great mix of stuff!
We felt so safe as he he drove us along snowy and icy roads. He was also flexible in tweaking the order of the itinerary to try and keep ahead of forecast bad weather, which risked us having to return to Reykjavik and miss the glacier walk and ice caves the following morning. In fact, towards the end of the first day, the road conditions became so treacherous and we drove past other cars and vans that had slid off the road. I felt so comfortable in Mike's ability to deliver us safely to our overnight accommodation. Thank you.
The overnight accommodation was simple, clean and adequate, but nothing fancy - after all, we were in the middle of nowhere!
But the real hero of the tour, besides our amazing guide, were the stunning Icelandic locations and experiences. Everyone else has written about these, so I don't need to repeat what has been said, except to say that this is such a good and efficient use of 2 full days to see the absolute best of what the South Coast offers. If you are pressed for time, this is the best way to see so much.
As it was a winter tour, the driving was planned to all be in the dark, so attractions can be seen in the best light of the day - wonderful!
There was only one very minor issue, and that was that the USB charging ports at our seats didn't work, so we needed to make sure we started the day with fully charged batteries. The wifi in the van though worked very well.
We loved this tour. It was an absolute highlight of 3 weeks travelling through northern Europe during winter. Just do it, you won't regret it!

I had the best experience for this tour, our host was David who’s been the best host. Amazing driving, got us a group of 12 from A to B safely, great entertainment, had in depth knowledge of explaining the history of the volcanoes, culture of Iceland and really appreciated his knowledge which he shared. Very friendly, open and approachable, felt as ease to ask any questions which he answered immediately and even went out of his way few times to show the group more places to explore. Overall I give the tour 10/10 and for David it was much higher rating. It makes me want to come to Iceland again. Thank you David for the perfect treatment of showing us how amazing Iceland is.

Best tour I could have taken. Our guide Guolli was extremely flexible and pivoted to make the most of our tour despite the weather. He took advantage of the great weather on the first day to make extra stops and allow us to take pictures, and rode out the storm on the second day when the roads closed. Each of the stops was incredible and I'm so glad I did the two day tour rather than trying to find something that crammed these into 1. The hotel we stayed at was also perfect to see the Northern Lights - didn't even have to pay for another tour! Our guide also had a phone that took amazing pictures with people in them of the northern lights and took each of our photos - I'll be forever grateful to have that photo he took!

I highly recommend this 2-day tour offered by Nice Travel. Our tour guide, Atty, was simply incredible and made the experience even better. His knowledge of the area was impressive, and he was always eager to share his insights and answer any questions we had.
One thing that really stood out was his ability to adapt the tour to suit the weather conditions. Iceland is known for having unpredictable weather, but Atty was able to make adjustments that ensured we got the most out of the tour, even if the conditions weren't perfect. This was really appreciated, as it meant we didn't miss out on any of the sights and experiences that we had hoped for.
The highlights of the tour were definitely the ice caves, the Black Beach, and the waterfalls. Each destination was stunning in its own way, and Atty was always on hand to explain the history and significance of each place. We were especially impressed with the ice caves, which were unlike anything we had ever seen before.
Overall, we had a fantastic time on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland. Atty was an exceptional guide, and we appreciated his enthusiasm, knowledge, and friendly nature. The tour was well organised and allowed us to see some of Iceland's most beautiful sights in just two days.

The two-day tour along the South coast of Iceland was the most splendiferous experience in my life so far. Goodness knows I have seen heaps of spectacular places before. But wandering through the glaciers, waterfalls, along the waterways, climbing and hiking the extraordinary reliefs of the Icelandic landscape, I imagined myself on another planet. My senses were turned on like never before: it was enchanting, magical, sometimes mind-boggling, everything I saw there on site or along the way was breathtaking, and the sensations I have had were unprecedented. This was just amazing, a truly once in lifetime experience, this was by comparison my landing on the moon. All this was made possible by the inspiring and superior leadership of tour guide Christina who gave a special cachet to the journey of discovery by always preparing us well with facts and anecdotes, at times with a joke or witticism. Christina was by a mile the best guide you wish yourself when in a foreign and remote place. In addition to being knowledgeable, she was approachable and kind, she always gave us plenty of time to explore and take pictures, she also gave us great food and other useful recommendations. She always was prepared to drive the extra mile to let us see the landscape from another perspective, she knew many hidden gems she shared with us, for example, the first waterfall we visited was on a private property, by a good fortune she knew the owner, so we did not sulk at our beginner’s luck. The mood in the bus was always upbeat as she entertained us with quiz and guess work and rewarded us with a chocolate when we knew the answer. Christina was also a monstrous driver in whose hands we felt safe, I was deeply impressed how she maneuvered the minibus so swiftly and diligently with 19 people on board. A unicorn who is right up there in her place and for whom I definitely want to come back to explore more of Iceland. Nice Travel you are lucky to have her as a guide, please keep her forever and please consider giving her a pay raise.
Generally, I’m not a tour person but this experience changed my view. Instead of driving by yourself and discovering the scenery, this is all you need to do, let you be guided through by Christina, it will save you time and a lot of inconvenience.

This was a fabulous 2 day adventure with a fantastic guide (aka Superman). So many other companies cancelled tour because of predicted stormy weather, but Addi went the extra mile and changed itinerary around and drove through the storm and we did everything the next day when the weather was kinder. He thought on his feet. It was my birthday on the tour and the little touches, such as blaring music from vehicle with Stevie Wonder singing Happy Birthday. He even arranged at the restaurant where we stayed, to bring out birthday cake for me. I cannot recommend Nice Travel enough, nor can I rave about Addi enough. Simply superb!

We couldn’t afford what was required to drive all the way out to the southern attractions of Iceland ourselves so we looked for a solid tour that could get us out there and we picked good with this one. Before I begin detailing our tour I first want to say many thanks to our tour guide, Thor, for being an exceptional tour guide. Thor was not only very knowledge… he was also very funny and we could not have asked for a better tour guide for a 2 day excursion like this, his personality made this 2 day tour all the more enjoyable. The first day we departed Reykjavík and went to go see the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Gljufrabui waterfall, and then another iconic waterfall called Skogafoss. Afterwards we went to Dyrholaey for views but the fog was too thick so we just went to have lunch and then later when the fog cleared a bit we went to the famous Reynisfjara black sand beach and then made are way to the hotel for our overnight stay. It was a fantastic first day and we saw a lot of breathtaking views of the Icelandic landscape despite the weather being ugly with rain, fog, and low level clouds early on. The hotel was a nice small road side hotel, I forgot the name of it, with vintage-like decor inside and the dinner and breakfast they served was delicious. The weather on our second day was much better than the first day and we got to see a lot more of the beautiful Icelandic landscape around us. Our first stop was the Ice Cave tour at Vatnajokull Glacier and it was one of our favorite stops during the entire tour. This Ice Cave tour was led by another guide named Oli and shoutout to him for doing an excellent job with leading us throughout this tour and keeping us safe. Next up after the Ice Cave tour we went back with our original guide, Thor, who then took us to see the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, then to see the famous Fellsfjara Diamond Beach, and then another Lagoon nearby with a spectacular view of the Vatnajokull Glacier plus the mountains in the background. After that, we started heading back west while stopping by to visit the Eldhraun Lava Fields, Hofskirkja Church, and a few more scenic stops before heading straight back towards Reykjavík… taking in all the unique gorgeous views of the southern Icelandic landscape since the fog and cloud cover from the day before was gone for the most part. Special thanks once again to Thor for our overall tour, to Oli from our Ice Cave tour, and to the Nice Travel company in general for providing us with this amazing experience. We won’t forget, this was a top highlight of our Iceland trip. - Nolan

Due to the weather, our tour was delayed for the departure. Even so, our tour guide tried his best to let us see all the attractions we could. Our tour guide is very kind and knowledgeable about Iceland that he gave a lot of introductions and fun facts on the way. He was also very caring and paid extra attentions to the safety of the attendants especially in the area like Black beach, Diamond beach and all the icy areas.
All the attractions are amazing and are some places that I would like to visit again with a better weather.

It says good hiking boots are required. How essential is this as we're travelling light and would have no need for hiking boots other than for this tour so would prefer to wear our sturdy shoes/runners
Hi can you get this tour from Hveragerdi ? in particular the Frost and Fire Hotel

Hello, what is the maximum number of people on this tour? Also, do you actively go in search of the Northern Lights or just go outside and look?
DressageRider33

It was a minibus tour so I would guess 18 people.
We didn’t go out and actively chase the lights but the property you stay at is well situated to see them if you walk about 100m out the back away from the lights of the property (there is a sports field out the back so we went and watched them there)
