Itinerary

From Reykjavik – Skogar – Vik – Reykjavik.

The vast expanse of Iceland’s southern coastal plain, you will view snow-capped glaciers and the sea and criss-crossed by some of the country’s most powerful rivers, is the subject of this option-packed tour. A stop will be made at the amazing waterfall Seljalandsfoss, where you walk behind the waterfall itself. The tour also stop at Skógarfoss  and that is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 meters (82 feet) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft). Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days.

The trip then continues east, past the towering mass of Mýrdalsjökull glacier toVík, If desired a stop can be made at Sólheimajökull  glacier (Depending on road and weather conditions), so you can walk up to and touch the glacier itself. Then to Vík  Iceland’s southernmost village. On the way back following the coastline and drive to the famous Black sand beach or Reynisfjara.
