Great tour, our guide was very prepared and explained many interesting things during the bus ride. We visited stunning places and had enough time to enjoy each stop.

Golden Circle Tour
Excellent day seeing the Golden Circle. Bus was comfortable and on time. Stops were well planned that we were never driving for long periods of time. Of course the stops were amazing with beautiful sites to see.

Amazing tour! Howser was our guide and the driver was Hallah. The tour went off without a hitch.. saw the sights. Learned a lot. So glad my friend and I did this one. The company picked us right up at our location.

Unprofessional, rude guide Simon :-(
Jul 2021
Very unprofessional tour guide named Simon, not giving the day itinerary to the group, not carrying how everyone is, getting off the bus first and walking away with a small group of followers before the rest had a chance to even get off, not mentioning the elderly ones left far behind (SHOCKING attitude!)
He was mostly focused on himself and talking to the driver in Icelandic when we tried to ask itinerary questions (what's next, how much time on the bus etc).
Simon was visibly kind to the the US customers (had asked at the start of the tour who is from which country) expecting tips afterwards. He actually even said "Hi guys, I often get asked if tips are mandatory in Iceland, they aren't but if you give us any I will share them with the driver". The tour could have been nice if there were a different tour guide. Very disappointing and pleasant experience (not just mine, I spoke to another European tourist from Germany a day after and she had the same bad impressions).
I would certainly recommend a different tour operator.
Also the tour time was changed and information was sent a day before by an EMAIL (not a text message nor a phone call!!!)

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and we are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your tour. We understand that not everyone on the tour is in the same condition, but as it says on our website, this tour requires moderate hiking and given the tight schedule and ever-changing valley of the volcano, we are trying to get the passengers to the best viewing position. We understand that this could have been viewed as hurrying. It was never our intention to leave someone behind, our customers are, however, welcome to do the hike at their own pace if they can't keep up with the rest of the group. We are sorry to hear that you had the impression that the guide was intentionally asking questions. We, at BusTravel, have not only created a very international environment within our staff but strongly stand for equality, openness, and respect in the treatment of our passengers. Símon is one of our most knowledgeable and experienced guides, and he has confirmed to me that by introducing such a question he only meant to start a conversation and to know passengers a little better. Thank you for bringing the problem with pick-up time change to our attention, however, due to the post-covid restart of the service, sometimes we need to change the time of the tour, and if the email about this is not responded we always try to reach the customer by all means provided by the customer.

Amazing Experience
Jun 2021
An extremely well-planned and appropriately timed trip throughout. Siggi, our driver and guide, was exceptional in customer care, giving great advice, local knowledge and also with the selection of Icelandic music. I suggest this tour to everyone who wants to have a feel of what Golden Circle has to offer in a day.

Iceland
Well everyone wants to see the northern lights but they can be so illusive. I wasn't lucky this time but not in the least disappointed Iceland is AMAZING. Landscape is like another planet and the Golden Circle will take your breath away. Everyone speaks English and are friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back for more
