          Unforgettable Experience
I definitely recommend this tour, it was awesome. Everything was great thanks to our tour guide Mika. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about Iceland that he passed it on to us. He took us to more sites than were scheduled and that made the distances hardly felt. All the sites we visited were wonderful and we had plenty of time to enjoy them. I loved everything, but especially the ice cave and walking on the ice to get there. Being on the tour reminded me what an adventure life is... it was an unforgettable experience.

Phillip made our Iceland trip extra special!
Phillip was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. I am 74 and my husband 84. He had a great attitude and made us feel special. He never rushed us or anyone. We especially loved the tomato farm as well as the Blue Lagoon! You are very fortunate to have an employee of Phillips quality!!

Amazing tour, highlight of my trip!
This tour hits so many amazing stops! Huge waterfalls, amazing mountain and water views, drive through old lava fields, ice cave with an amazing drive across Iceland’s largest glacier, diamond beach, glacier lagoon and the famous black sand beach. Walter was an incredible guide who’s expert driving was needed as snow suddenly hit, he navigated like an expert and kept us all safe while still making sure we got to see all this tour could offer. He was lively and has a wealth of knowledge of Iceland that is tailored to each group! The hotel was very charming, clean and comfortable. Such an amazing 2 day tour, don’t hesitate to book!

          Love of my life
This tour is so amazing, especially the tour guide, who has made our journey unforgettable and enjoyable! Even though we didn’t see the aurora by eyes, which is a pity, I would still give this tour a 10 out of 10! Not only the view is touchable and breathtaking, but also how the people in Iceland show kindness and passion. Our guide took us to many extra spots, which is kind, and gave us more time enjoying the view than usual, which is generous. I hope one day I could come to Iceland again!

          Amazing trip!
Everything was amazing, and our guide, Walter, was great. He managed to get us everywhere we wanted while at the same time considering our safety. Also, he told us many interesting facts about beautiful Iceland.

          Great day, great guide
An amazing day seeing lots of incredible sights. Our amazing guide Kristoff/KiKi was super kind and friendly and very accommodating towards us as a group. He shared lots of his knowledge and stories which added to the great day. The company also swiftly arranged a change from the blue lagoon which was closed due to the volcano, to the sky lagoon which was an incredible end to an incredible day. The minibus also had great wifi and USB ports which was useful for phone charging inbetween stops.Would highly recommend.

Could not get my car neither the refund in the end
My last experience with doyouitaly and godcar was a nightmare, let me explain better... On Sunday 1/21/2024 after checking the rental conditions, I reserved and paid for a car for 3 weeks (from 1/22/2024 to 2/10/2024) for an unexpected trip that I had to take. The collection of the car should have taken place at the GOLDCAR agency at Cagliari airport at 9:00 am and the return in the same place at 12:00 pm after 3 weeks. I showed up at the agency desk punctually but when it came time to collect the car, I presented my driving licence, rental voucher and payment card (a Mastercard Debit) as instructed. To my surprise, the agency employee, seeing my card, told me that she could not accept it and that they would only accept credit cards. I proceeded to show her the conditions which indicated the accepted payment methods which states exactly : “A major credit card (Visa or Mastercard) in the name of the main driver is required in order to collect the car. (Please note that cards without the driver's name on will not be accepted). This company will not accept prepaid, recharge or virtual credit cards. Debit cards (Visa or Mastercard) are accepted. If you use a debit card for the security deposit, the deposit amount will be charged to your card and refunded at the end of the hire. Please note that Diners, American Express, Electron, Virtual, Prepaid, Revolving, Rechargable, PostePay, Paypal or Maestro cards are not accepted.” The employee said that this was incorrect information and reiterated that they (GOLDCAR) do not accept debit cards, and advised me to call the number on the voucher for any clarification, which I did in her presence, after having I explained what happened to the customer service person on the phone, they told me that they would send an email and that I would have to provide the requested information, ensuring that I would receive my refund. To make a long story short, I had to rent the car without a reservation from another agency and unfortunately after a long series of emails in which I provided all the documentation requested and several phone calls, I was denied a refund, the reason being my invalid payment card not a Mastercard Debit but a Maestro according to them. I have the entire history of email communications available. I advise you to be careful with doyouitaly and Goldcar, they have not honored their own conditions nor reimbursed the cost for a service not provided, much less for the damage caused.

Offered a refund but not received
Our trip to the blue lagoon was cancelled due to the volcano. We were offered the sky lagoon as an alternative but when we arrived we were told it was fully booked. A miss communication due to being today ‘that’s all booked’ when we confirmed we were happy to stay there. When we returned from our trip I followed up on the offer of a partial refund as blue lagoon had confirmed they were fully refunding entry this should have gone back to us not the operators of this trip? I can see that my query has been escalated but I’ve had not response and it’s been almost a month!! So they’ve just keep over £100 of our money to themselves

Great way to get a taste of Iceland’s most striking sights
My husband and I had an amazing day seeing the highlights of Iceland within an easy distance from Reykjavik. Our tour guide/driver Walter’s love and passion for the history, places, and people of Iceland shown through and we were the happy benefactors. We experienced walking a crater, geysers, waterfalls, and hot springs—always staying on time and fitting in a few extras when time allowed. It was convenient as we were picked up directly from our hotel, too. Can’t recommend this tour more highly!

This was a trip of a lifetime made even more special by our amazing tour guide Filip. Filip taught us tonnes of history of Iceland all the way through the trip both on and off the bus. The whole tour was magical.

Our guide and driver on this tour (Thormodur spl?) managed to make a snowy/rainy full-day trip exciting and well worth it. He told us that he was going to help us find our "inner sun" and peppered the tour with poetry, local music, traditions, and more. He made a few extra stops along the way and you could easily see that he cared about everyone's experience.

As an extra note, our travel itinerary was mishandled by a travel agency (not NiceTravel) and Thormodur with NiceTravel tried to help out on our behalf. They absolutely did not need to do this. They even helped add an extra feature to our next day even though this was not their error. Would 100% recommend NiceTravel.

To be honest, I don't remember much of my trip around the Golden Circle (I spent a week in Iceland and did a bunch of tours), but I do remember that I had fun! We went to the crater and the lake at the bottom was frozen and snowed over and there were hilarious graffiti written on the ice by clearing away the snow. Someone even cleared away enough to make a slip-and-slide using the ice underneath. It ruined the natural beauty somewhat, but it was way too funny for me to care. 100% worth it.

What a spectacular trip. Vlad, our tour guide, was simply outstanding. He provided great commentary and information about Iceland that you never knew you wanted to know! so interesting and funny. The mini bus was so nice and comfort table and Vlad explained everything about each venue, what to expect, where to meet him after the event. So nicely done. Highly recommend — he took us to see Icelandic horses which was a bonus and the scenery on the drive is spectacular with so much undeveloped and pristine land. The venues are so beautiful and well planned for tourists. THANK YOU Vlad and Nice Travel - perfect day!

This was possibly the best day trip I have ever been on in my life!
If you go to Reykjavik you need to do the Golden Circle tour. As well as the big three (Thingvellir, the geysirs, Gullfoss) this tour also stopped at several other interesting places: the volcanic crater, which was great to walk round, an ice cream parlour (made on site and delicious), and a farm with Icelandic horses and local knitwear. The extras were possible because everyone was punctual, so take note.
The best thing about the tour was the guide/driver, Gulli, who was funny, very knowledgeable, interesting, and a good driver.
I also thought this was incredibly good value, being at least 8 hours long, with a good amount of time at each place.
Note: the minibus was full, with I think 16 people, but quite comfortable. Lots of different nationalities - all nice people which added to the experience.
P.S. Sorry it took me so long to write this. Gulli, I was the "know-it-all" who answered all your questions, but I learnt so much! Thanks.
I recommended Nicetravel to the rep at our hotel, and to another couple staying there, as well as telling our travel agent how good it was, so I hope you get more bookings.

We were picked up by Andreas from bus stop 1 on time with a big smile :)
He was very informative about where we were going, explaining all the aspects of each destination. Giving us plenty of time for each stop, We didn’t feel rushed at all. Lots of time for bathroom stops and snacks on the way.
You stop for a lunch break, we took a flask and sandwiches but also tried the lamb soup (delicious)
We even got to stop to see some horses which was a lovely thing to do as it was not in with the trip!
We would have no hesitation booking again with this company. Great trip from start to finish, thank you so much for an amazing day out! Andreas was fab!

We had an amazing day visiting Gulfoss Falls, Lake Thingvallavatn and the Geyser’s during our day trip from Reykjavik, as well as a few more pit stops Maria (our incredible guide) added along the way for us including a dairy farm where we all got ice cream and another farm where we fed 3 gorgeous horses! Maria was so helpful answering all our questions throughout the day and playing Icelandic music for us on the bus! When we said our dream is to see the northern lights she showed us a website to check when the northern lights were visible and told us where to go around our hotel where we would be most likely to spot them and I can confirm she was right!😍

Our guide was Christina and she was excellent.
We were picked up on time. It was very cold and we had snowstorms but this added to the enjoyment for us. It was like fairyland!
The snow, which was quite deep in places, did restrict us in places (as in my friend and I) but we are seniors and I have a sore hip. We didn’t mind though.
We wore thermals, crampons and waterproof coats. Warm hats and gloves were essential.
Thingveller national park, interesting info and view of the site of where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates met. Very deep snow and a challenging but splendid walk through it (optional).
The geyser. Bizarre seeing hot springs surrounded by snow and it was snowing heavily when we were there. The Strokkur eruptions were exciting. Lunch was available in any of 3 food outlets. We had soup and bread in Supa. Very reasonable and delicious.
Gulfoss Waterfall. Amazing. Iceland’s Niagara and beautiful. There is a choice to climb up to view it from further above that we declined because of the conditions. We loved it though.
We loved seeing herds of Icelandic horses that stay out in any weather, also the chance to get close to some.
Kerid Crater. Never seen anything like it. There is a lake at the bottom that was frozen when we were there and the opportunity to walk round the rim.
I totally recommend this tour. We would love to go back in the summer to see what was underneath all that snow!
        Thank you, Christina.

We did the Golden Circle Tour with Nice Travel. Our guide David made this an awesome day. Hours went by in no time because he was so entertaining and fun. He shared so many interesting stories and background info. He even made some extra stops for us to show us some treats. He was always making sure that we felt comfortable in the bus and during our stops. I highly recommend doing this exploration with nice travel, especially if you’ve got the chance to do it with David. thank you so much. We had a blast. ❤️
PS: I really enjoyed having clean window panes. Was the first bus I traveled with where I could also make some photos during the drive.

This was the best tour and a great beginning to our very memorable week in Iceland. We LOVED David our tour guide (he's Czech but has lived in Iceland for about 9 years). He taught us so much about Icelandic culture and the nature all around us. I loved the small group and small bus (about 10-12 of us total) instead of the "big ugly buses" of the other tours. I love that he did the tour in reverse to try to avoid the big crowds. Gave us plenty of time at each spot. Lunch at Geysir stop was good - two options available, one more budget friendly and one a little more mid range (but food in Iceland in pricey no matter where you eat). Bus very comfortable. Overall great day.
