very good tour, saw some great sites, the gigantic waterfall was stunning and left us awestruck, the geysirs were wonderful and the fontana spa and bread making session a real treat.
the only downside was a very cramped minibus, with no covid precautions, the guide actually stated he hated masks and encouraged people not to wear them, which was disappointing in such a small space.
the sites were great, the tour guide a disappointment and the mini bus ok.
there are better tours out there, but this one is still good.

This was a great way to see some of the top sites if you have limited time in Iceland. We only had a quick stopover, two days actually. The pick up and drop off was convenient to our hotel. Our tour was a Mercedes minibus and was very comfortable. They even had phone charging ports for each seat which we did use. The three scenic stops were beautiful. We stopped at the National park, Geysir, and Gullfoss waterfall. There was just enough time for lunch at the Geysir stop. The last stop was Fontana wellness center, which was a bit disappointing. The bread making demonstration was not worth the 30 minutes it took. I’d have rather had that time in the baths.

I had the BEST day on this tour! I was picked up from my hotel on time, and the bus was very clean and very comfortable. There were only 13 on our tour which was great as we all got to know each other by the end of the day!
Our tour guide for the day was Siggi, and he was great, very friendly and funny and told us so much about Icelandic culture and history as we drove from place to place. The sights were beautiful, and we had plenty of time off the bus at each to explore. Fontana was beautiful! We had plenty of time here to enjoy the geothermal baths, sauna and dip in the cold lake! And I loved trying the rye bread cooked there too. An absolutely brilliant day tour, great company.

We used Reykjavik excursions for all of our transfers and excursions whilst staying in Iceland and they were great. Always on time, and everything was clearly signposted so you knew which bus to get on.

The Golden Circle Tour and Fontana Wellness Spa was particularly amazing, and made better by our tour guide Hoskuldar Frimannsson - who was particularly knowledgeable about the destinations we were going to and the surrounding areas we were travelling through. Definitely recommend adding Fontana Wellness Spa to the golden circle tour- great day!

We just finished an Awesome day walking through beautiful dramatic landscapes and soaking at the Fontana Wellness Spa. Our tour guide, Dillon, was an amazing story teller providing us with scientific information and folklore of the landscape and history of Reykjavik and Golden Circle.

The tours of the natural wonders of the region coupled with a dip in the frigid waters of Fontana then a relaxing soak in the geothermal tubs was Awesome!!! Loved the rye bread!

Thankyou

Great tour with Regina, she gave lots of information on Iceland and its history. Didn't feel rushed at each stop with plenty of time to see the sites and have refreshment breaks. Particularly enjoyed the 2 hour stop at Fontana wellness spa which was a lovely way to end the tour and warm up. Interesting to see how they cook the Rye bread in the ground, tasted lovely.

Our guide Daggi was knowledgeable and kind. He walked the extra mile for our group. The day was well planned. So, we returned to Reykjavik on time. The bus was clean and comfortable. Thank you Reykjavík Excursions. Of course, the sights are beautiful.

Great combination of the main sights (geyser, waterfall etc.) and a fantastic 2 hours at Fontana spa. We ate bread baked for 24 hours in an underground pit and the spa was fantastic. BG led our small group and he was a terrific guide - knowledgeable, friendly and kept everyone to time. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our tour. We completed this on the 24th and while it was the eve of Christmas our tour was cut short but it was still fantastic and we loved the guides. No real negatives as it was informative, funny and well organised. Thank you!

We usually avoid coach tours but didn't fancy hiring a car in the winter. We used Reykjavik Excursions who were excellent. Picked up at Bus Stop 1 (Radhus) and transferred to a coach at the BSI terminal. 40-50 persons on the trip. Our guide, Liefur (?) and driver were excellent. We never felt rushed at any time and saw some wonderful sights - Alafoss woollen store, Thingvellir National Park, Geysir geothermal area, Gulfoss waterfall, Fontana geothermal spa including a rye bread baking demonstration and tasting. We even stopped briefly to see some Icelandic horses. The dusting of snow made everything look more stunning. Ample opportunities for coffee, lunch and toilet breaks. The driver took care at all times (road was icy in places). English was excellent, lots of information delivered with an excellent sense of humour! A great day out. Recommended.
