I have just returned to the hotel and thawed out from a day out in a deep freezer commonly known as Iceland. This is an eerily beautiful country and I have just completed a full days itinerary touring the south coast. I have never been on a coach type tour before so wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I have to say I have really enjoyed it. Both the tour guide and driver excelled themselves to make the day work, both full of enthusiasm and practical advice given the potentially dangerous conditions due to the weather. I would do this again and highly recommend it.

Amazing tour. Ziggy the guide was amazing, passionate and unbelievably knowledgeable. Really made me see why Icelandic people are as proud as they are about their beautiful country and heritage. Ayyyy ayyy ayyy, so but so relevant. Made me put my seatbelt on everytime he said it!!! Didn't see the northern lights but who cares when this country is as beautiful as it is!!! P.s we saw a sun halo. Very very very rare!!!

We enjoyed our trip so much. The sights were breathtaking and the tour times excellently to coincide with the limited daylight. The tour guide Siri was fantastic, very informative and very funny. Thank you so much, we will be back.

We recently took the South Coast classic tour with Reykjavik Sightseeing (14th March). This was an excellent tour and well worth the money, our guide Johanna and Driver Thor were excellent, they kept us entertained and were very informative. The bus was clean, modern and comfortable and you are provided with tablets full of information for you view, read or listen to on the way. Another bonus is each seat has usb charging points essential for recharging your phone after taking so many photos of the fantastic and breathtaking scenery. If you take this tour with this company you want be disappointed.

our driver Jac and guide Emmilea were fantastic... it was a long day - 9am to 7pm... but full of sights... information and folklore... Jac is a seasoned driver and considering the ice and white-out conditions we encountered... we never felt uneasy... and Emmilea is so personable and informative... peppered with lots of local folklore about elves and mythical creatures... she had me believing in them!

we stopped at a couple of waterfalls... a black sand beach and a glacier - all pretty awe-inspiring... they made sure to stop for coffee and bathroom breaks regularly - plus a lunch in Vik where we ate and shopped (at an outlet store)..

note to shoppers - everything you see in Reykjavik you'll see at this outlet store but cheaper than on laugavegur street...

if I could choose these two to be my guides again - I would... I can't say enough about the experience... it was a highlight of the trip!...

I booked for a tour and hotel pick up also. They want you waiting for the van in front of the hotel 30 minutes before departure. That morning it was cold and rainy, so I preferred to wait inside the hotel seeing though the window the arrival of the van. After 30 minutes I asked receptionist to call tour operator. They said van arrived then left. So I ASSUME van stopped on the other side of the street because there were big buses in front of the hotel. Moreover buses prevented me from seeing the street. It's absurd that driver did not try to look for me in the hotel. But I can image why: they have money paid in advance and don't refund. They have no respect for customers. I will not be recommending them to anyone. Believe me, any other tour operator is much better.

Hi antonioavio We thank you for your review. We are sorry to learn about your experience with our company. Our goal is to provide a service suited to the different needs of our customers at a reasonable price and therefore we value every constructive comment that we receive. Our vouchers do state the following: "Please be in front of your accommodation or designated bus stop 30 minutes before stated departure time and look out for our all green SmartBus". Our tracking shows that our bus was in front of your hotel a few minutes after the pick up started. As there was no email or phone number on your booking, we were not able to contact you. As you can understand, drivers are not allowed to park the pick up busses, and leave the bus to search for customers that are not ready at their designated pick up location. We hope to welcome you in the future to make up this experience. All the best, The Reykjavik Sightseeing team

They picked us up via shuttle close to our Air B n B location and took us to the main bus. The bus had free wifi, nice windows for viewing, and the tablet tour was basic but informative. The tour guide Johanna was very helpful and pleasant with the customers. I witnessed her kindness with an elderly couple who needed additional support and she was patient and gracious.
The waterfall visits and glacier stop were great as well. Trusty or Driver was a very good driver and we felt safe the entire way. We felt it was a great trip for the price.

Or should I say NO Customer Service!
I became very ill the night before we had a scheduled tour.
My husband called at 6 o’clock in the morning to let them know I was sick and we would need to cancel our tour. The person he spoke with could care less that I was sick and rudely told him that since it was less than 24 hours until the tour began we would not get any of our money back. (Unfortunately I was not aware that I would become this sick 24 hours prior to the tour.) He then asked if we could reschedule our tour for a different day and again was rudely told no.
If you were looking for a tourist friendly company to use, then I suggest you avoid this one!

We arrived in Reykjavik for a 5 day visit with a primary goal of seeing the Aurora Borealis. We hadn’t really decided what to do beyond that but Reykjavik Sightseeings South Coast Classic tour was recommended to us so we gave it a try. The tour surpassed our expectations! Our guide Johanna was funny and entertaining but also full of information. The driver Daddi (?) also did a great job and the bus was clean and comfortable. The excursion took us through different parts of the South Coast that included 3 waterfalls, a glacier, and black sand beach. The route also showed geothermal production, lava fields, livestock farms and enough small villages to provide a sense of what life here is like. Although the weather on the day of this tour was rainy and windy, we still managed to do and see everything we wanted. Overall, great trip & highly recommended! A bonus by the way is the tablet trip guide in addition to the live commentary and an additional bonus was USB connectors to charge phones.

Wonderful sights! Our bus picked us up within the designated time and our adventure began with an introduction by our guide and a short description of what we would be seeing. He made sure we all had touch screens and explained how to use them as we left the city. The magnificent scenery of the lava fields in the volcanic region, the history of the formation of Iceland and the current situation were clearly explained by our guide, and augmented by the GPS activated touch screen! Shocking to see a house half buried in lava rock on the side of the road! We made our way to a glacier, where we got off the bus for an up-close look! Back on the bus, we headed for the black sand beach, simply beautiful, and the small village of Vik for a lunch stop. Our next stops were 2 magnificent waterfalls, up close! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and funny! The bus was comfortable and clean. We brought our own snacks and lunch, but there was a restaurant and grocery store at the lunch stop. Definitely bring a camera, dress appropriately (including appropriate footwear for walking on snow & ice), but leave your book or ereader at your hotel! You won't want to miss any of the scenery!
