- lagperkins0 contributionsA great tour with a guide who wants to share his love for his spectacular country.Turned out we were the only ones on this trip, so pleased it didn’t therefore get cancelled. The super jeep was fab. Our guide works as a tour guide as an extra to his usual job at ATC at Keflavik airport because he loves his country so much. His stories and passion for the country were happily shared. It was a fabulous experience - stunning scenery, hot springs, waterfalls and snowy roads to the glacier.Written March 14, 2025
- stulees0 contributionsDisappointed but always going to be a gamble.Spent most of the 3 hours driving and only short time actually outside looking for the Northern Lights. Cloudy night to be fair so was never going to be a successful trip I guess.Written March 13, 2025
- amybW1637OQ0 contributionsMagic Tour of a Magic Country! This was an absolutely magical day- the perfect guide who was lovely and had so many amazing stories about Iceland. Super jeep was super comfy. The scenery and stops we made on the tour were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Just can't describe how fantastic it was to see the country on this tour. The waterfalls, geysers, glaciers, all magic. We covered over 300km and every minute was amazing. Snowmobiling was a fantastic bonus- taking us out onto the glacier, far from anywhere. This tour is a must do with an incredible team- don't book anywhere else! Loved itWritten March 9, 2025
- annabB9063SQ0 contributionsDrifting to The Land Of Fire And Ice: a bridge between continents. This was one of the most exciting and unique experiences I’ve had. I travelled to Reykjavik with my daughter and Dad and we were completely wowed by the fabulous knowledge and endearing personality of Magnus who looked after us throughout the day. He’s a very proud Icelander and it shone through as we visited breathtaking geysers, waterfalls and glaciers. The superjeep ride itself was thrilling and I’ve since watched the film ‘Against The Ice’ with my husband to give him an insight into the whole wonderful trip.Written February 22, 2025
- jcY7332MR0 contributionsBest time of the holiday. The trip was amazing. Took a little while to get to a good location but, it was worth the effort. Saw the Northern Lights and took so many pictures. Had a great time. Our driver and guide was great!!Written February 21, 2025
- dfgadfg0 contributionsGreat day made better by an expert guideGuide we had for the day was absolutely brilliant. Took time to explain things and pass on knowledge. Really good. If I did again I would prefer a smaller party for the snowmobiling as too many people and some people go painfully slow…. But that said was an amazing day. Thank youWritten February 21, 2025
- 888feliciak0 contributionsINCREDIBLE! Great experience!!Our experience with Activity Iceland exceeded all expectations. We had 3 full days of perfectly planned activities and Thor, our guide, made our trip INCREDIBLE!! He was very knowledgeable, adaptive and personable. - ToodlooMF0 contributionsTHORoughly Recommended!!!….when you arrive at the line and they’re all doing selfies with the coolest super jeep. And that’s your ride!! “Hi. I’m your guide. My name is Thor”. Of course it is!! An Epic start to this Icelandic Odyssey. Two days with Thor and we experienced the many wonders this (special) island has to behold, our journey illuminated with his insights and stories, immersing us into the culture and life of the Icelandic people. Thor is a real life legend! And he’s a National Champion… if you can guess what in - double shot of Brennivin all round on Thor!!!Written February 13, 2025

- 585DavidD5850 contributionsFantastic Golden Circle Tour / Glacier Snowmobiling with our fantastic guide Keli 👍👍An amazing trip with Keli our fantastic guide. This is a must do trip during your stay. We were picked up in a Super- spec Defender vehicle and our small group of 5 set off. Firstly we visited the Waterfalls (stunning, breathtaking and freezing cold) and we then headed off for the 1 hr snowmobiling on the Glacier (words can’t describe how beautiful the views and glacier looked). After the snowmobiling, we headed back to the Geysers area and finished with a tour through the National Park. Our trip ran from 8.45am-5pm - plenty of time and back in Reykjavík for happy hour. Would recommend our tour operator and their staff - an amazing day and the best day of our first visit to wonderful Reykjavík ❤️Written January 27, 2025

We were picked up by Keli and our small group of 5 set off. We first visited the Waterfalls (amazing start) and then we headed off for the Snowmobiling on the Glacier. Keli was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable on all of the areas we passed through on the way to our various destinations. The super Defender was a great way to travel and we loved the small group trip (fantastic small group and very friendly). We headed over to see the Geyser’s after the Snowmobiling and ended with a trip through the National Park. The trip says approx 10yrs, but our trip ran from 8.45am-5pm which was ideal. Fantastic tour company with great guides. Would definitely recommend if you want to avoid a large group trip - much better and the best day of our trip to Reykjavik ❤️Written January 27, 2025

Even though with bad weather, this experience was memorable. Our expectations were very high and we were afraid they wouldn't be met, but the quality of the car, the route chosen and especially the atmosphere created by the guide, made it one of the best tours we've done. His knowledge of the terrain and driving experience allowed him to adapt the circuit to the day's weather and our expectations, making it fun, varied but always safe. We crossed deep rivers, saw idyllic landscapes, went on unforgettable walks and the announced 10 hours flew by. If I ever return (for the third time) to Iceland, this adventure will be one of the causes. Thanks to Thor (our friendly guide).

Very pleased.
The valley was wonderful! Guide was able to share many interesting stories.
I appreciated that the tour both drove us around the valley (which is not accessible to normal cars) and stopped so we'd be able to get out and hike at some locations.
They do have a minimum number of people they need to operate, but I was pleased that the vendor made it easy to re-book when I originally booked on a day where there were not enough people.

This tour was voted best day of our trip - even though it rained much of the day. We started our tour in Selfoss rather than Reykjavik and it turned out we were the only 5 people on the Jeep! While there were other people visiting some of the same sights we did, they did not look as happy as we were. That is because of Aron, our tour guide. He makes the short list of best tour guides we have experienced anywhere. The insights he provided, the sights he showed us, the luxury ride of the vehicle - all of these things contributed to the great experience. We have not one regret spending one whole day on this excursion. When you make your reservation, tell them you want to be on TEAM ARON.

We hired a superjeep day to Throsmork. We read it was an amazing place and we were really looking to discover it as well as enjoying the superjeep experience.
First of all, all the staff at Activity Iceland were super friendly and nice, and our 2 stars has nothing to do with them.
The trip was ok, but we didn't have any super jeep experience and we weren't able to see anything of the Thorsmork.
We assumed that a superjeep can go almost everywhere in Iceland. Specially if the trip is available during winter time. So we hired a superjeep excursion to the remote area of Thorsmork. We were suposed to cross glacier rivers and enter to a valley without roads.
Our surprised came when we got stuck just some meters out of the road. There was another company (superjeep) on the area, and they got stuck several times. So we had to wait for them to help geting out. After one hour of driving not even 1 km, the other car decided to turn around. And our guide decided that he doesn't want to be alone on the valley and also turn around.
Again, the guide was really nice, but we ended up paying for a superjeep activity in a remote area, but getting a typical south coast tour, that we could have done with a normal bus.
The guide took us to a nice beach nearby, yes, but apart from that, we only visit the two big waterfalls in the south, overcrowded of people.
We know that nature is nature, but one expect for a superjeep to be able to drive in severe conditions. And if not, better not to offer the activity during winter time.
Overall, nice day on the typical southern coast road, but no superjeep experience neither Thorsmork visit.

This was an amazing experience and worth every penny. Our guide Magnus was outstanding -- very knowledgable and friendly, and he clearly loves sharing his passion for Thorsmork with visitors! I never expected to get so close to a glacier on this trip, or to see so many stunning landscapes in a single area. The super jeep experience was also really cool. We would highly recommend this tour.

Very professional company with great vehicles. The scenery at Thorsmork is stunning and the evidence of the power of recent volcanic eruptions awe inspiring. Great trip off the beaten tracks. Thanks to our guide Magnus for his knowledge and skilful river driving!

Our family had a phenomenal day trip with Bjarki touring the Valley of Thor. Bjarki was knowledgeable about the history and culture of Iceland and the areas visited. He carefully matched the activities to our interests and abilities. The beauty of the area is unmatched. It was such fun and we can not wait to return for another visit. Would highly recommend!

We did the Thorsmork Super Jeep tour on June 17th 2022, and had a fantastic time! The day was well paced and we got to see a lot. Each stop that we made had something beautiful and fun to see. This was our first full day in Iceland and a great way to kick off our trip. Our guide was excellent! He made sure that we all got to see things that we were interested in. And also made sure we got through the river crossings on the final hike. I loved the feeling of really being out in nature. We got to climb on rocks, go on hikes, enter caves, cross streams, and more. What an excellent day! Highly recommend!

We had a really great day with Magnus out in the Thorsmork Valley. I'd hoped to get to experience some proper off-roading and got more than expected driving through deep snow and rivers for most of the day! Would recommend to anyone. Thank you Magnus.
