Wonderful experience despite the cold wind and choppy seas. Extra warm suits and complimentary sea sickness pills on board make for a more comfortable experience. Young woman who served as the expert guide on board was very knowledgeable. We saw humpback and minke whales crest and learned to spot the spray from the white caps.

Amazing time! We saw a load of humpback whales plus a smattering of other marine wildlife as well. The boat was nice and spacious with great viewing areas all around, plus it had a cafe to warm up with a nice cup of hot chocolate on board as well.
The leader of the trip, Daniel, was excellent - great at speaking to us and giving information about the whales, and very friendly as well.
I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone, whether you're interested in marine wildlife or not. A great experience to see these huge yet graceful creatures in their natural habitat.

Good facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Good opportunity to see whales. Struggled to see at times due to crowds at rail at the bow of the boat, especially with a smaller child who couldn't get near the rail to see.

What a fantastic trip!!! The crew were amazing. So friendly and full of facts and information. The boat was immaculate, too, with plenty of seating and viewing areas!!!
On the day of our trip, we were welcomed on board and given all the safety procedures. The crew were very helpful.
We were that day as we has 7 humpback 🐋 whales surrounding the boar. The whales were so close and put on a full display for us. Several were breaching from the water. It was a magnificent experience!!!! I will never forget it!!!!

Brilliant. The guide was very knowledgeable and we saw quite a few whales.. (their backs and tails anyway). Got a few good photos. Wrap up warm though it was bitterly cold at sea (as you'd expect).

Very well organised trip. We took advantage of the free anti sea sickness tablet although we were lucky and had good conditions for our trip. We also used the free overalls which helped against the wind and would have protected had we had rain. We started off on the top deck but, part way through the trip, went down to the lower deck at the front, which was a perfect vantage point. We were lucky enough to see gulls, puffins, dolphins and a whale, who breached, which was fabulous - we followed him for a while but other than the occasional ‘blow’ he didn’t appear again.
The cafe on board was nice, the ‘best’ hot chocolate! The Brazilian guide was really good, friendly and very knowledgeable.
All in all a great experience!

We had a fantastic whale watching trip recently and managed to spot a humpback whale after another boat radioed in to alert us. The booking process was easy and they were in communication leading up to the trip to remind us about timings, what to bring etc. We had a good 3 hours or so out at sea and thankfully the weather was on our side. I think the price we paid was reasonable and it’s good that they offer another visit if you don’t have any sightings. Overall a brilliant, must do trip.

I am sure you care about whales but in 16 days 29 fin whales have been slaughtered and butchered in Reykjavik. Watch sea shepherd you tube report it's sickening.

This company I was with has a slogan "meet whales, not eat whales"! and inform their clients how to recognize a restaurant which is friendly with environment. They present a small environmental protection lesson during the journey. The young people in Iceland are against whale haunting.

I went Easter 2018 and it was fab. Great views. Very cold. Not sure of if whale migrations change chances of sightings. I have heard that if you go from the north rather than Reykjavik you may see blue whales. Worth checked by blue whale seasonal sighting times

The best time to see whales is the summer months. We enjoyed the trip in October and we lucky to see white nosed whales. Not sure about February, but it's a trip out into the old harbour, hopefully you will see something.
