1. Great camper, never faced any mechanical issues. Was able to drive comfortably on snow and ice both. 2. Great supplies - kitchen equipment, bedding, etc. 3. The heating system was on point, did not face any challenges. 4. Check in and check out process was very smooth

Our experience with CAMPEASY was far from satisfactory, starting from the very first interaction. Upon landing, we called them as instructed. I informed the lady that we were at the P2 parking area, as advised in their email, and asked if we were in the correct spot for pick-up since I could see a few buses nearby. Her response was dismissive: “At P2 there are no buses… haven’t you watched the video we sent you? Okay, stay there.” She then abruptly hung up on me. This rude and unprofessional behavior set the tone for the rest of our experience. The lady who welcomed us was clearly in a hurry to finish her shift,frequently checking her watch, which came across as impolite. Communication was challenging as her English was difficult to understand. She handed us a two-sided paper with instructions and expected us to read and comprehend it within a minute. When it came to the insurance, we were shocked to find out that the “free insurance” you / they advertised was no insurance at all. This felt highly misleading. To ensure coverage, we opted for the “zero-risk insurance” at an additional cost of nearly €400, only to discover that even this did not fully protect us. When we asked if we would be covered in the event of an accident caused by another driver, we were told: “If you chase them, stop them, get all their information, and have them sign documents, then yes. Otherwise, you’ll be charged.” This is an unreasonable and impractical expectation, especially for tourists unfamiliar with the area. After paying, we noticed that the documents they gave us did not list the insurance plan we had purchased. I had to return to correct this error the next day. Following this, the same staff member hurriedly handed us the keys and said, “Go find the car!” with no further assistance, inspection, or explanation. This level of service is simply unacceptable. The vehicle itself had several issues: • No spikes on the tires: For a country with icy and slippery roads, this was alarming. This crucial detail was not mentioned, nor were we informed about the lack of spikes. • Weak headlights: Driving in Iceland’s winter conditions with such poor lighting felt unsafe. • Non-functional GPS: The GPS in the van did not work. When we asked about it, the response was dismissive: “Use your phone to navigate.” The issue was never fixed during our 8-day rental, and no compensation or discount was offered for this inconvenience. Additionally, the website lacks important details about the vehicles, including specifications that would help customers make informed choices. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. Improvements in customer service, clearer communication, and better vehicle preparation are essential for this company to meet the expectations of its customers.

The Easy Monster was very nice for me and my to kids. Unfortenly I didnt get the bedding sheats for the bed in the back…but we managed. What I didnt like was that the gas Kitchen didnt work from the start and i spent a long time to get it working. They said me at campeasy that things can break, of course I understand that but when you pay a lot and it is broken from the beginning its irritating. I could cook for 1 week and had to eat out all the time with two kids and that destroyed some of the holiday. I just wantes to nale pasta bolognese and other food in the camper. So I spent a lot of money of food i couldnt use and all the restaurants… I was sent to a Camp Easy contracted Mechanical who tried to fix the gas kitchen and he said it was ## up. Campeasy realy wanted to help and wanted to send me to another Mechanical. I am realy sorry, but I dont want to spend my holiday with my kids to go around island and try another mechanicsl who can fix something that is broken from the beginning. Camp Easy wanted to compensate a small sum for the expenses I had with the restaurants and irritation but I never got an Compensation… But still i liked the car and that Campeasy tryd to help… so they get 3 Stars….

Fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly, the facilities at the office were great and we loved the idea of the communal pantry/fridge. We found the process of pick up and drop off seamless and the Caren Tablet made the adventure of driving in Iceland so much more approachable. The heating in the van during the peak of winter worked fantastic and we didn’t have any cold night sleeps. I would highly recommend Camp Easy for anyone looking to hire a camper in Iceland and I hope to have to opportunity to do so again!

We couldn't be happier to have chosen CampEasy for our 7-day tour of Iceland. Our plane landed at 2am so the offices were no longer open and we had to use the selfservice which was organised to perfection. In addition, due to the time it was, they let us spend the night in their facilities, for which we are infinitely grateful. We were two people and the camper we chose was the Easy Fun which says it is for 3 but I honestly think that for 3 people it would be a bit small. For us 2 it was the perfect size. It comes with everything we needed for the days we were there and we weren't cold at any time which is appreciated with -10 degrees on the street. It also comes with a tablet with many recommendations of places to visit, gas stations along the way, campsites where you can stay.... All in all, a 10. Now we have to go back to see the north and I'm sure we'll do it again with them!

Great staff Dawid and Natalia helped us with our chek in and out process, Van was very comfortable and drove smoothly and was great to get around the island

We rented a viking van, everything worked perfectly, we didn't have any issues, and they allow us to stay the night before and the night after by the office with some coffee. Also, people leave some things from their trips that you can use. We have no complains, really everything awesome and the apps they share with us were pretty precise as well.

Loved our experience working with CampEasy, the van had everything we needed. There was a great option to snag ‘take what you need’ pantry items left behind from other campers to save on your initial grocery shop, be sure to take advantage. Florentina was an absolute legend, picked us up from the airport first thing in the morning with sleet and 60 mph wind gusts with a smile on her face and cheerful disposition! On the return Natalia helped get us checked out efficiently and got us to the airport with plenty of time before our flight. Would definitely work with this company again.

Our experience with Campeasy was fantastic! The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. We rented the Easy Clever 4x4, which was top-quality and perfect for two people. The camper was fully equipped with a spacious kitchen, complete with all necessary utensils and a small refrigerator that made grocery shopping and cooking so convenient. The heating system was powerful and a lifesaver for us, especially since we’re from a very warm country—it kept us cozy throughout the chilly nights. Checkout was quick, and the team at the rental center was super cool and incredibly helpful, always ready to answer any questions. Highly recommend Campeasy for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped campervan experience in Iceland!

This is such a great way to see Iceland on a budget. We had the easy fun camper in early November. I was a bit worried at first as it’s not a 4x4 but we mainly stuck to the ring road and it was absolutely fine. No problems. Another thing we were worried about is staying warm over night. The heater is great. We would actually get too warm at points! And we didn’t leave it on all night. We also didn’t notice any changes in fuel so it must use a very small amount. The bed is a great size for two people. The fridge is bigger than expected. The LED lights were nice too. We kept the bed made the whole trip. We didn’t use the table. Would have meant moving everything around all the time. I’d recommend no big cases! Especially if you bring two. You’ll struggle to find the room. Being soft bags instead like a gym bag/rucksack. We checked-in outside of hours but it was really simple. They email you on the day with a code to pick up the keys. In their sun room (where you pick the keys from) they had a toilet, sink for washing up, sofa, fridge, tea/coffee machine, food left from other travellers and a cute guest book. If you arrive late and don’t want to drive to a campsite you can stay at campeasy. I think that’s great. I don’t think a lot of other places would do this. Check out was just as easy as check-in. The staff were lovely and friendly too. We really enjoyed our time in Iceland. Such a beautiful country. We’re hoping to return in summer and would do it all again with camp easy!

We visited Iceland for a week in Nov 2024 and rented a Tesla Model Y 4x4 from CampEasy. Our experience was incredibly smooth and enjoyable! There was a convenient airport pickup included in our rental. The car came stocked with everything we needed on our adventure, from a comfy foldable bed and soft clean linens, cooking supplies, a mini fridge, and storage (in various compartments of the car) of 1 carry on suitcase, 1 large suitcase, and two back packs. They offer luggage storage at the facility if you don't want to bring your full suitcase along with you to save space. There was also an area in the facility where you can snag unused food from past campers, which we took advantage of and also left our own leftover supplies at. Camp Mode in the Tesla was easy to use and we didn't have trouble finding charging stations across Iceland. We also loved having "Caren" which was a tablet equipped with WiFi and camping site info along our route. We would definitely use CampEasy again. Thank you Florentina and Dawid for your help!

We booked the EasyFun van and it was a well built, spacious and organized van with everything we needed. We went to Iceland for 14 days and the van was so reliable and in a good shape we were able to drive around the entire island with no problem even in harsh weather. All three of us fell in love with the vanlife because of it. Also the EasyCamp base was absolutely incredible and had a lot of helpful surprises for our start. The staff was nice and helpful. What a wonderful experience! Thank you EasyCamp!

What an amazing experience renting with Camp Easy. I can't think of a better way to see such a beautiful country. We had enough dishes and cookware to make everything we wanted for the week, and the camper even had a sink! The tablet came with wifi so we could easily navigate and keep in touch with the staff at Camp Easy via chat if we needed to. Dawid was especially helpful in answering all of our questions ahead of time. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Can't wait to come back 😁

Everything went smoothly, and the service before and during the trip was excellent. We chose the Easy Fun camper, and it worked flawlessly throughout the entire journey. Converting the seating area with the table into a bed was incredibly easy and quick. The camper was always comfortably warm, so there's no need to worry about the cold – the heating system works great! We didn’t opt for a 4x4 vehicle, and while we didn’t encounter any major issues, having snow chains would have been helpful 2-3 times during our trip. Unfortunately, they weren’t included. We were on the road for two weeks and experienced no problems at all. A small tip: If you need a ride to the airport outside of CampEasy’s regular office hours, don’t try to book online in advance – it ends up being more than three times the cost. Instead, use one of the two contact numbers provided in the tablet inside the camper. We called one of them and were able to arrange a pickup just 15 minutes later. Overall, we would definitely choose CampEasy again for our next camper trip. It was a fantastic experience!
