      Amazing everything
The tour overall is wonderful. Our guide Kacper is simply awesome, he is professional, knowledgeable, funny and passionate about what he does. We have enjoyed the tour very much, he played a key role in it. He makes sure we see as much as we could and at the best time we could. The views are simply beyond words. Highly recommended. And can’t get a better guide than Kacper.

They asked us to show up 20 minutes early which we did - waiting in the freezing cold. Our pickup time came and went and our shuttle never showed up. Called and was told they would be there in a few minutes, 20 minutes later we called again only to be told they were still 20 minutes out. Ended up just grabbing a local taxi for a tour. Do not recommend.

Amazing 6 days in Iceland’s Winter Winderland
Thoroughly enjoyed this 6-day tour around Iceland. Our guide, Vala, is very knowledgeable about all things Iceland - she shared wonderful stories, captivating folklore, some interesting and personal to her. Vala’s passion for Iceland really shines through her lively mannerisms and enthusiasm to share. We learnt a lot about Iceland, its culture and history through her. Vala’s knowledge especially showed in northern Iceland, where she had to adjust our itinerary due to unforeseen road closures and still made the tour fun for us, while maximising the precious daylight available to us. Thanks Vala for guiding our tour.

      A perfect day in Iceland!
Firstly I want to shout out our tour guides- BEGGI was absolutely amazing for our Golden Circle, Blue lagoon day trip. We did a small group tour and made the experience feel so personal, we were so happy with Beggi, he was so knowledgeable, friendly and upbeat. He gave us plenty of time to stop between places and also was very helpful with recommendations and questions. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We had Beggi on the 26th November, and he made the whole day so much more memorable. Also, Bus Travel Iceland were amazing - our tour included Blue Lagoon entry, as there was an erruption they substituted the blue lagoon for another (won’t say which as depends on availability) with no issue. Was very happy. Our Northern lights tour was cancelled this night due to fog. There was good communication from Bus Travel Iceland (text and email) and they rebooked it for the next day with no issues. We went on the next night on the 27th November and despite the weather we managed to see the lights! Our tour guide (I’m so sorry I forgot the name) was absolutely amazing, he stopped in many locations trying to help us see the lights. He was very knowledgeable and informative about the lights which kept us all awake! The hot chocolate was amazing too, and our host even gave us a free chocolate too. He was absolutely amazing and without him we wouldn’t have been able to have such a good experience. I was weary to book this tour as it is quite jam packed but its very easily doable. It doesnt feel like a rush everywhere has the perfect time allocated to it. Thoroughly recommend to anyone.

      Well worth it!
Stunning views and excellent opportunity to appreciate nature. Addi the tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great customer service and communication from the team. The Blue Lagoon closed so we went to Sky Lagoon which was lovely and relaxing. I couldn't see the lights due to unfavorable weather on the day but I was automatically rescheduled ( free of charge) for the next day when I did get to see them. Overall a very good experience which I highly recommend.

      Ask for Matthew
Matthew is an engaging and funny tour guide. From Newcastle, UK, he brings an outsiders appreciation for the quirks and lore of Iceland. The scenery is stunning even on an incredibly overcast day like the one we had. Docked one star because the group is very large, but that’s probably unavoidable.

Read fine print carefully… no exceptions for travel delays.
Our flight from Reykjavík was cancelled twice as a result of severe weather. Asked for a refund given the fact that travel to the area was impossible. Basically told that 24 hours was the cut off point even with the extenuating circumstances. Be aware if you are booking.

      Loved it!
Fabulous from beginning to end. The bus takes you through the tiny port town into the beautiful countryside past numerous waterfalls, fjords, and through tunnels. The hike up the waterfall after the 45 minute drive is spectacular and very doable in 90 minutes there.

      Amazing Waterfall! Must see
We had a great guide, Tom. His commentary was interesting and fun. We visited with a farm family and then drove to see the most amazing waterfall. I highly recommend this tour.

      Wonderful Tour
This is a wonderful tour. The ride to the waterfalls is long but the scenic beauty of the countryside is unmatched. The guide made the ride very enjoyable with commentary about the area. The Dynjandi waterfall were beautiful. We had ample time to hike up the falls and take photos all along the way. Climbing up the falls can be challenging with people going up and down the same path but well worth the effort. We also stopped at a small Icelandic farm on our way to the waterfalls. The owners were very kind and shared information about farm life. We had a great cup of coffee and sampled some wonderful Icelandic cake. I highly recommend this excursion.

Beautiful waterfalls. Well worth the drive!
Dynjandi Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls we saw while we were in Iceland. It was a cool rainy day but we hiked up close to the falls and took photos all along the way. On the way back we stopped at a small farm to sample Happy Marriage cake. We would definitely recommend this tour!!

A Great Non-Cruise Line Shore Excursion
A very convenient and cheaper (than ship version) shore excursion. The bus pick-up area was a 1/2 block walk from the ship (since it wasn't a "official" shore excursion they can't park next to the dock. Our tour bus actually had people who bought two slightly different tours: our version and one where some people did a walking excursion of a lava field while we were at the natural baths- I recommend the baths! One word of caution: you have to rent a towel from the front desk when you arrive (it's not included in the ticket the tour company pays for). I will say that of the three natural baths we visited in Iceland, this was our least favorite; however, it was still relaxing and we're glad we went. The stop by the lake is the one that everyone says has ALOT of flies; we lucked out since it was cold. To be honest, the lake stop was my least favorite part of the tour; really not too much to see there on a 45 minute stop & the line for their bathrooms was LONG.

Great tour guides. They went beyond what you would expect on a tour. You felt like their friends. Highly recommend this tour especially with Omar the driver and the red haired circus performer with a masters degree in history

This was one of the best tours we've ever experienced and it is all because of the Ritchie, our guide. He was outstanding and innovative. His first step was to have us all join a group in WhatsApp so he could interact with us during the tour, sharing questions/polls, photos, and messaging us when it was time to move on. He was very knowledgeable and even took us on a couple of quick detours for added experiences. The scenery was amazing and well worth it.

Had a great time on this tour! The locations we visited were awesome and our guide (Unnur) and driver (Artur) made our day even better! We were in Akureryi for the day via a cruise stop and this was one of the best tours we have ever done! We also did a tour with this same company in Reykjavik and I can highly recommend Bus Travel Iceland tours..both of them were great!

This trip could have been so much better if the driver would have considered the travelers needs. It would have been better if we spent more time at Godavoss vs craters. The driver should have let us know how long between rides and that there was a bathroom on board, he should have told us about lunch being served before the stop instead of after a long stop, where i bought my own lunch. The Windows were DIRTY and then he must have tried to clean them after the 1st stop and made it all smudgy and was worse and I could not take a decent picture out the window. The driver could have announced how long the stop would be while we where still on the bus, but he wasted our time and waited until we were all off the bus to make his time announcement. Basic information could have been shared ahead of time for us to make better use of our time. Wasting time in line for a bathroom when there was one on the bus would have been nice to know. Our Driver Tom made it all about him and with a little thought he could have made this a great trip. I would have loved to know about the knatts and that they sell nets at the shops before I got all bit up and inhaled a bunch of bugs. Maybe this guy was new but informing him of his missteps will make it better for future customers and perhaps he might get more tips. We always tip our drivers but this guy was not good at all.

Punctual pickup from Akureyri port, our guide Richie was welcoming and knowledgeable, making sure everyone was comfortable on board, as the coach was full.
Our stops were well planned with plenty of time for photos. Richie worked hard to ensure people got photos, editing them as we travelled. A lot of effort was put into giving us all a great experience, which really compensated for the disappointment our cancelled docking in Reykjavik. Thanks to Richie and our excellent driver, we hope to return to beautiful Iceland one day.

The guide was personable and made the trip interesting. He played and recommended several Icelandic musical artists. He timed our visits to the sites perfectly by avoiding the long lines at the waterfall. I appreciate his enthusiasm for his job. The weather was cold and wet. So wear a raincoat or bring an umbrella.

Herewith my reaction for the tour today by bus, unfortunately we had the tour with the bus instead of the small one, I can remember that I've booked the tour specially with a small bus because we don't like to do this with a big group, it always take more time and irritations which was also today again in the bus.
Furthermore I've booked with the opportunity to have a swim in the hotpool for an hour but that was not possible in this tour they said. So finally the price was not in relation to for what we've paid for.

Regrettably, the tour operators (Bus Travel Iceland) don't think it's necessary to display a sign displaying the company's name, and caused us unnecessary running around and anguish, missing our original tour bus. We have been "added" to a later tour, but not before over an hour of waiting to confirm that the replacement bus has room for us. The tour itself was rather mediocre and disappointing. The Godafoss Waterfall is pretty but far from amazing or breathtaking. Our guide, Ruvo (? spelling) spoke a good English and was knowledgeable, friendly and did his best.

A great day. Excellent value. In 6.5 hours we felt thoroughly immersed in the local geology. Huge variety of scenery. Our guide Tweety has one of the driest senses of humour. Very droll. I have seen references to midges at Lake Myvatn. We experienced none whilst viewing the pseudocraters.
Just one issue to be looked at. Two of the seatbelts in our 19 seater didn’t work. Fortunately we weren’t a full bus but it could have been otherwise.
