It was snowing for last two days n the snow was fresh. Just a bit cold after 45 mins staying still on the sledge outdoor . Would try the night crude next time.Written March 23, 2024

- Michele C0 contributionsGreat!Great family run reindeer farm. Although the ride was short we did get to feed the reindeer! They also gave us so much information about reindeer and how they farm and protect them. It was so interesting.Written March 7, 2024
- markjchambers0 contributionsBest way to see Helsinki if you only have one dayWe just had one day in Helsinki before heading north. We wanted to make the best use of our time and we did with Olga as our guide. And some of our group had physical limitations so we didn’t want to walk for miles on the cobblestones. If you have more time and don’t mind wandering around, you can see the city on your own, but a guided tour is very efficient and it met our needs.Written March 1, 2024

- DanielG8520 contributionsLook for other offersI booked a Reindeer-Safari for our familiy. After the automatic confirmation response, a girl from the main office confirmed the tour with other (shorter) content. They did - after several times of asking - never tell me the place and time of the safari. In the end they cancelled the tour without asking me beforehand. This was then ok for me and I got the money back quite quickly. There are a lot of good offers for activities to book f.e. in Levi/Sirkka; us them.Written February 19, 2024
- whissperwind0 contributionsLoved this tour, and it holds a special place in my heart. This was a really fun experience, the staff was super friendly. I was well educated on all the animals and their daily life. I love knowing all animals are treated so well. We were about to feed the reindeer. The views with the huskies were amazing. We got to see individual huskies after ride and was truly a special experience. Pups had their names on cages and were easily identifable with photos to show! After both the farm and the park, we were offered hot drinks and snacks that were enjoyed in the comfortability of a cabin with a nice fire!Written January 21, 2024

- LOICD8680 contributionsGood equipment but better to enjoy more intimist experiencesnowmobiles and explanations are high quality and professional , but unfortunately no northern lights these days. The " typical sausage has not so interest since we were too many peoples and not as i expected. Then unfortunately we were around 25 drivers , some of them were very afraid and slow, and team took too much time to separate the groups.. but global is experience is quite good, since the snow was fantastic. but i' would recommend a small group experience and not a tourist cart...Written January 2, 2024

- 816magicm0 contributionsPicture Perfect ExperienceThe reindeer and husky safari was amazing as was our guide Emma! A local with a lovely sense of humour! The reindeer park was picture perfect and although the ride is short it was fun. The husky park was near Santa’s Village and you can choose to end the tour here. We loved Batman, the Husky and the ride was great. Pick up and drop off from accom is great too.Written December 29, 2023
- kwokleungl20230 contributionsJoy and fun with the "Lapland Reindeer and Husky Safari from Levi"One month before the event, I booked the "Lapland Reindeer and Husky Safari from Levi" held by the Easy Travel through the Tripadvisor. It is easy to book the tour online. It is a small group tour of only two family, totally 6 persons. We had opted to be picked up at the Levi Suites Levi Gold, Torikuja 3, Sirkka, Levi, but our guide is also the driver messaged us to change the pick up point at the Zero Point Brand Store outside the Oy Levi Ski Resort. It was very cold, we found the pick up vehicle with difficult in the bad weather. Our guide was nice and helpful. He told us the career of the reindeer farmer and the rearing method of the reindeer. He also took photos for us. It was worth to joint this tour, it is the only one tour consist two activities (visit Reindeer Safari with Reindeer Sledge Ride and also visit Husky Safari with Husky Sledge Ride) found online.Written December 22, 2023
- lauraamay0 contributions10/10 experienceThis experience was absolutely amazing! An incredible afternoon for family, friends or colleagues. The animal welfare for working dogs was impeccable, with a welcoming and immersive staff collective that was informative and friendly throughout the entire experience. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend a better place to experience husky rides, and to learn more about the culture surrounding it.Written December 14, 2023
- katemacintyre0 contributionsWonderful day SafariWe had a great day with the Reindeer and Husky safari, our first guide Mario or Super Mario as she said to remember her by, was so helpful and pleasant. After our short reindeer ride we had a lovely cinnamon bun with hot berry juice beside a nice fire. Mario told us all about the reindeer and answered questions. We then went to the restaurant for lunch of salmon soup which was delicious after we had cake and coffee. The staff in the restaurant were very nice. After lunch we met another guide who was also very pleasant, took us on the husky safari. When this was finished we had another biscuit and hot juice, then got to pet the puppies. The whole experience lasted about four hours and is quite expensive, but a once in a lifetime experience, especially in the beautiful winter wonderland. You have to consider how much it is to pay all the staff involved also feeding and looking after the animals all year round.Written December 7, 2023

Is this a joke? This is a blatant rip off price, and people who posted this should be ashamed of themselves. Do yourself a favor and buy directly from the shipping company.

We did not do an organised tour. We booked tickets with Direct Ferries and were given a choice of ferries and companies for the day we requested. We chose Eckero Ferry which operates from the new, smart West Terminal . It is served by 2 tram services from the city centre, so is easy to reach.
Do arrive early as the ferry we took left 15 minutes EARLY! The crossing itself was very smooth and we had no difficulty in finding seats (although it was more of a problem on the journey back). The café was popular and the food seemed good, although we only wanted coffee. Crossing took just over 2 hours, so we were in Tallinn by 11am.
The town is an easy 10 minute walk from Terminal A.
We returned on the 18.30 ferry. The terminal in Estonia is not so comfortable, especially as we were all herded together in a hot waiting room. Having said that we were allowed to board early and we sailed a few minutes early despite the ferry being very busy. Arrived back into Helsinki early. As we were rather footsore we chose to take a taxi back to the hotel (which was out of the city centre) rather than the tram.
Would certainly recommend this as a means of reaching Tallinn.

This was a great way to get to/from Tallinn. It is recommended to be at the boat dock early as the ship holds hundreds of people. Each level of the boat has something to offer from restaurants to live entertainment. You'll be able to find a place to relax for the 2 hour tour.

I planned one day after my North Pole trip which started and ended in Helsinki to visit Tallinn. It was the perfect day. Obviously, daily trips from Helsinki to Tallin are well run machine, everything was done to smooth the experience. Despite the flood of people in both directions, there was no jams. Multiple restaurants on the boat to meet everyone's taste, accompanied by multiple tax-free shops. Tallin itself was great in early July with nice weather and a local medieval festival (please check for it, and if possible time it). The town itself deserves far more than just a day visit, but if pressed for time, this cuise is MUST! Please get your boat ticket in advance in the hotel, every receptionist will be glad to book it for you. Ticketcs are not very expensive, hence this cannot be an excuse not to taake the cruise. There are also several departing points, so check which one suits you best. Finally, upon return, I was amazed with local Finns buying crates and crates of hard liquor or beers, and bringing it in Helsinki, without ever seeing any custom officer. It was a wonderful day to remember.

Tallinn is a very beautiful and historic city. We went for one day, and found this amount of time inadequate to do Tallinn justice. Needs a few days. The ferry we went on was very crowded, and there was no outdoor space for non-smokers. The hop on hop off bus did not go to the medieval part of the city.

Overall excellent trip, well managed and organised. Anastasia was really good in taking us around Tallinn, explaining history, culture and main attraction including shops and restaurants. And finally beautiful old town.

We are so happy for this tour. Everything was well organized from the pick-up at our hotel to the drop-off at our hotel by Nikolai. First, he took us to the cashier where we had to show our passports and exchange our vouchers for tickets (to and from Tallinn) on the Megastar ferry. After discussing pic-up, Nikolai left and we got on the ferry. The ferry was great. It is a huge cruise boat. After 2-hours of shopping and dining, we arrived to Tallinn to be greeted at exit by Aljona, our guide (she had a sign with our names on it). She took us on a 3 hour tour where we pretty much saw all the main points of interest and learned a lot - just a perfect amount for one day trip. After that, we had another 3 hours of time alone in Tallinn where we enjoyed walking on the cobblestone streets of the Old Town. We ended up seeing a couple of additional things recommended by Aljona. We had dinner on the main square. After that, we reunited with Aljona and she drove us back to the ferry. We found Aljona to be an amazing guide. She drove us to several sites and we enjoyed her commentaries. She gave us just the right amount of detail we could digest in one-day trip, and we learned a lot. She was sensitive to our needs throughout the tour. The ferry Megastar was fun on a way back, because they had great live music there. Upon our arrival to Helsinki, we were picked up by Nikolai. He took us back to the hotel. We feel that the trip was very well organized and well-priced for what we got. In the end, we think that we would not get as much of the day or learn as much if we did it all by ourselves. We recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day in Tallinn, Estonia without the hassle of organizing it all. Thank you Easy Travel!

I was trying to do the Eckeroline ferry booking online for doing the trip on 1st Jan. The price for 2 adults and 2 children showing on Eckeroline is 40 Euros. To reserve a seat in the lounge, do they charge extra. I can see acprice of 20 Euros that they charge each way. Does it mean that seats are not guaranteed with 40 Euros fare? Could someone please advise if it is worth paying 160 Euros extra to book seats in the lounge.
Written December 25, 2018
We did not travel on Eckeroline so not sure if I can answer your question. We found our ferry to be very crowded and noisy. If we did the trip again, we would probably pay extra to have the lounge.
Written December 25, 2018
Please inform on this day trip where are we seated. Is it anywhere on the deck or are there seats reserved in the lounge? Please send answer early as we want to book on Eckero on the 25th
Written August 21, 2018
We did not book seats. You can sit where you like, although there are not enough seats for everyone inside if it is a very full ship. There are also seats on deck if the weather is fine
