Amazing winter experience

We stayed a few days in Rovaniemi and took this tour out to Riisitunturi. It was really amazing. It's well worth the price and the 2 hour drive! The scenery was so surreal - it was as if Dr Seuss illustrated the plant Hoth - every few steps the landscape changed to something different and amazing. When we went it was lightly snowing, and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Our guide was really great, and gave us a lot of the natural history of the park and also took some fabulous photos of us. He was also helpful in pointing out great places to take my own photos.

About halfway through we stopped at a sheltered camp where we had a fire and roasted sausages and sandwiches.

The hike itself isn't difficult. It was about 5Km. Off trail the snow was crazy deep.

We had our own snow gear, boots, etc, but they will provide snow suits, boots, gloves, etc. if you don't have your own.

Definitely recommend!

A Mesmerizing Experience

Beyond doubt a mesmerizing experience!! we had never seen something like this before. We were touring Rovaniemi and Riisitunturi was one of the places in our bucket list. To start off, we had some unexpected difficulty in the payment, Beyond Arctic was flexible enough to wait till the last moment for the payment (A definite thumbs up to Beyond Arctic). Our tour was on 02 Mar 2022, and we had the best weather for the trekking (Sunny and ard -3° C), Martin (our guide) was knowledgeable and friendly, he gave us enough time to feel the nature and took some amazing photos for us and also gave me some tips on photography. The hike is not so difficult in-fact my 6-year-old daughter completed the 5kms trek easily, off course the lunch break, midway also helped. The wind at the peak may bother sometime, but the overall body suite, boots provided by Beyond Arctic really helped. I highly recommend Beyond Arctic and the guide for this tour!!

Extraordinary Place and Expedition
I am a solo traveler so I wrought to different companies requirement about expedition to Riisitunturi National Park and Beyond Arctic was the only one who responded me and they had interest to make my dream come true and fit me together with some other solo traveler. So thats what happened and 16.12.2021 we just go to Riisitunturi I can highly recommend the Beyond Arctic and the Guide as well. They are really nice and they are considering everything about the conditions and I think this is the way how it should work and guiding the people.
