They don't care if it's cloudy or snowing, they just drive you a few kilometers to "fulfill" their service, it doesn't matter if it's impossible to see the northern lights that night. Luckily we found a great guide from another company the next night and we were able to see the Northern Lights in all their splendor.

The whole experience was nice and personalized. Our guide Juho was great and told us a lot about the lights and Rovaniemi itself. It was great to see the lights and get photos taken of us as well as trying to take photos ourselves! We were equipped with everything we needed for a lovely evening.

Great experience overall. The guide was very informative and the operator was very organized. He took great photos and very helpful helping guest with setting up their phone settings to capture photos. Highly recommend.

We visited the Rauna Zoo Photography tour with Oren and enjoyed it thoroughly. Oren gave us plenty of insight on Northern lights, Lapland & local culture. Also clicked some great pictures. Surely will recommend this tour company.

Getting to see the northern lights needs a cloudless sky, solar flares, a good guide and a whole lot of luck. We were lucky we booked the small group group tour for a family of 4. These guys provide everything - warm overalls, shoes, headlights, camera tripods, a little backpack with a warm drink, water and retractable fork to cook your sausage on the fire. Our guide Leevi was outstanding and local to the area. He was a safe driver and made sure we got to see the lights - he had an app and spoke with the team to find us the best location. We were in a small clearing off the road in Misi, 50 mins from Rovaniemi. There was a teepe and he set up a fire to warm up. We got to take great photos and he took several for us too. We had a great evening- the price paid was well worth it considering we have had friends who traveled the distance and never got to experience this supernatural phenomenon. Cheers Leevi.

THIS IS SIMPLY THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!!! Our tour guide, FINN, was the best! He really is passionate about his job!!! He ensures we are comfortable in the van, he checks out clothing if he thinks we will be cold outdoors, he looks for opening to make sure we find the northern lights, and man, the photos! He was so patient with each and everyone of us. Some of our friends were tired (bec of jetlag) but he still extended positive attitude towards all of us! I'm so grateful to experiece this Aurora Hunting with the best tour guide ever, Finn! He loves the Aurora so much that he made an app about it (search: Aurora Scout)!!! No lights, no snacks, no fire, no photos, nothing. A complete waste of time and money. The guide was just interested in getting home the fast possible. If I had this business I would at least offer a discount for a second opportunity if there was no lights. Don't recomend.

Beyond Arctic is truly one of the best tour service providers! Me and my friend joined a tour, guided by Markus, on 28/9/2024. And here is our experience with Beyond Arctic: Pre-trip: We mistakenly booked the wrong tour date. Although the website stated that 'its not guaranteed to make changes', they were still so helpful and helped make date amendments accordingly and swiftly. Tour: The trip was amazing. On our way chasing Aurora, Markus kept explaining facts about Aurora and chatting with all of us, the vibe was great. In addition to Markus' passion, the trip was literally flawless. Despite exceeding the expected tour hours, Markus was still willing to bring us around to chase the gorgeous Aurora, which was really impressive! Post-trip: They sent us back a selective amount of photos without a watermark. When I realized there was a missing photo (that I was looking forward to), I sent them an email for it and they really sent that particular one photo to me, though with a watermark. But that was already unexpected, I thought they were going to ignore me LOL. In conclusion, our experience with Beyond Arctic was wonderful and I truly recommend Beyond Arctic to future visitors! I had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Beyond Arctic during the aurora hunting tour and reindeer farm visit! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the Northern Lights, making sure we found the best possible location to witness this magical phenomenon. The chase itself was thrilling, and seeing the aurora in the Arctic wilderness was a once-in-a-lifetime moment. The visit to the reindeer farm was also a highlight, providing an authentic and educational insight.

Highly recommend this tour to see the beauty of Lapland. Oren was a fantastic guide and really took care of us. Over the course of the trip, we did a few short hikes to different waterfalls, had a Finnish barbecue over a fire, and learned about north Finland all throughout. The autumn colors were in full force, so it was extremely gorgeous everywhere we went. I definitely recommend this hike for anyone interested.

Juho & Satu took good care of our group. They were delightful and so informative. They knew where the animals like to hide and seamlessly took professional pictures while maintaining the comfortable pace of the tour. They saved us a lot of time. This is a beautiful animal park where we saw healthy animals that we can't see on our own. Juho and Satu made it a very fun and exciting morning. Highly recommended.
