About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- bethanc3580 contributionsAmazing experience! We had an amazing experience on the wolf tracking tour. Our guide Sami was very informative and very enthusiatic about the wolves in the territory we went to and about Swedish wildlife in general. We learnt about the wolves in that territory and the recent changes that had happened. We also learnt about and saw (and smelt) the wolves poo. This was about as close as we got to the wolves! We walked across a frozen lake, a first for me! And, luckily (for us) Sami was the only one to fall. Sami tried to get the wolves to answer his howl later in the evening but unfortunately they were not interested! 100% would do this tour again! An amazing experience in the great outdoors with an enthusiatic guide! Thank you Sami!Written February 28, 2025
- LesleyMR0 contributionsStockholm NatureThe park location was very pleasant to walk through, saw the evidence of beaver activity, sight3ed some Deers and rabbits.Written February 16, 2025
- 339gerryj0 contributionsDisappointedThe hiking was cancelled by email as there weren't enough to justify the group hike. I didn't check my email until after I discovered the guide had not turned up at the appointed time and place. An SMS would have been a better way of communicating this important piece of information.Written February 11, 2025
- RussellJ700 contributionsCalm serene experienceGood calm and relaxed non tiring hike, our guide took care of us and answered all our questions and shared his stories and experiences.Written February 8, 2025
- U3354GFryanl0 contributionsBeautiful hike with a great guide. Fun looking for animals. There were less animals out and about because it was winter, but we still got to see plenty of deer and even some beaver activity. The hike through Tyresta National Park is beautiful, and our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.Written February 7, 2025
- 540kellyg0 contributionsLucas our guide was fantastic!Highly recommend our guide Lucas. Super knowledgeable, warm and engaging! We learned a lot and the hike was spectacular. He cooked a delicious lunch over the open flame.Written January 26, 2025
- Matteo M0 contributionsUnique and exciting experienceWe would highly recommend this hike to anyone visiting Stockholm. We were able to see the less visited outskirts of the city in a very fascinating and informative way. Daniel our guide was nothing short of amazing and made it feel like we were just having a walk through the forest with a friend rather than a guide. Daniel provided us with fascinating facts and also cooked us an amazing lunch. We will definitely be booking this tour again when we return to Stockholm and cannot recommend it enough to anyone wanting a unique adventure when visiting this amazing city. Thank you Daniel and Nature Tours Stockholm!Written January 14, 2025
- Freedom5502360 contributionsDo not recommend itAlthough the guide was impeccable and the experience was interesting, the animal sanctuary part was not impressive. You can hardly see any animals, and we felt the price was far too high for what was offered. I do not recommend this visit at this price, especially for those who truly want to appreciate the country’s wildlife.Written January 4, 2025
- Leonie A0 contributionsWhat an amazing day!Our small walking tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful along our hike. We honestly had a great group and would recommend this to anyone visiting Stockholm.Written January 2, 2025

We (mother with three teenagers) took part in the two-day kayak tour. Our guide Daniel was super patient with us and adjusted perfectly to us. So the trip was relaxed and a great experience for everyone.
The evening on the desert island by the campfire was the highlight. Daniel conjured a delicious dish on the fire with fresh ingredients in the wok.
The camp was located so that we could enjoy the sunset right by the camp site.
I was glad that I had booked the tour with the children and did not start on my own. The area is quite confusing and the wind can quickly invalidate you. Daniel skilfully guided us and brought us back safely.

We loved our 2 day stay on the baltic sea with our guide Oscar and were able to take part in a variety of activities whilst on and off the water which we really enjoyed. The sunset was beautiful and we also really enjoyed seeing so many types of wildlife. It was nice to go at our own pace without any pressure, especially as we hadn't kayaked in many years. Many thanks to Oscar and the team for this wonderful experience, I recommend it to everyone

William and Mileh were fantastic guides, and they led the trip with skill and humour. It was good to have the logistics of the kayaks, navigation and camping taken care of, so as to be able to enjoy the truly stunning scenery. The archipelago itself is bewitchingly beautiful and there was a profusion of seabirds (guillemots, swans, Eider ducks, Barnacle geese, great cormorant, piper, terns and more). The days were spent kayaking and exploring, with plenty of breaks to absorb the scenery and the peace. We camped on a small island, dinner, which was delicious and plentiful, was cooked over an open fire. The kit list suggested a warm jumper for the evening, personally I'd suggest a down jacket at least! It was pretty cold, but once tucked inside the sleeping bag for the night, it was pretty cosy. A truly rewarding trip.

My daughter, 12 years old, and I experienced 2 fantastic days plus an overnight stay in the Stockholm archipelago. Became very unique when we discovered that it would be just the two of us and our guide Lucas. Lucas was excellent!
We started from Dalarö and paddled out for about an hour. Then we arrived at a fantastic sandy beach on a small island. Lucas was a wealth of knowledge, about nature, bushcraft, wild animals, fauna, what you can eat or not. He showed us how to make a fire with what you find around you in nature. He is an inspiring person, not only as a guide but also as a person. He made the trip extra fun and educational. In addition, he was very careful with safety when we paddled out in the sea, which was of course appreciated. Not easy to capture the interest of a teenager, but Lucas succeeded with my daughter and also with a lot of humor.
We were completely alone on the island, it felt completely unique. I recommend this experience and Lucas 100%
Memories for life, thank you Lucas!

Beautiful scenery, the water, the islands, the sailing boats... sunrises and sunsets alone on an Island, simply a wonderful experience!
It allowed me to see, try and learn a lot of new things, mainly about nature (basic survival things, specificities of the region, etc.) but also about Kayak as it was my first time trying it.
I had Alex (the tour guide) all to myself, as no one else had booked at that period, so he could explain to me everything he had to do and let me tryout things.
I would definitely recommend to anyone in a good shape or at least into exercising as there is quite some rowing in order to get the most out of it - do not hesitate to share your concerns as Alex was very very helpful anytime I felt tired, hungry or needed to adjust my seat in the Kayak.
P.S: some useful tips you should know if you go with Alex: 1) il parle français / québécois 2) he only told me once we got back to base, but apparently, if you are too tired to paddle and just want to relax and enjoy the scenery... you just need to feint an injury and he will tow you back to base ;p
P.P.S: can’t have a good review without one negative thing so I had to find one. I’ll go with the coffee that tasted bad :D. But it kept me awake to enjoy all what there is to see, with so little nighttime in summer so no hard feelings there.

This weekend was a total escape from the city: although only 45min away from Stockholm it looked like we were in a different world!
Alex was an excellent guide and found us the most amazing place to spend the night (he is also a great cook!).
I absolutely recommend this tour to everyone who enjoys being surrounded by nature!

What a great trip, kayaking through the stunningly beautiful archipelago, stopping on islands for lunch and to make camp. Very peaceful and beautiful setting. Good quality equipment and a really great guide - I'd highly recommend this company.

Hello,
I am interested in taking this tour sometime during the week of September 12, 2022. I have two questions about this tour.
- I see that Camping Gear is excluded. Is there an option to pay an additional fee to have camping gear provided?
- I will be traveling internationally and I am wondering if there is any storage location to place my luggage during this 2-day excursion?
Written April 10, 2022
Is it suitable for solo traveler?
Does it imply a lot of walking/hiking?
Written June 25, 2019
Hi,
I would be interested to know if it is possible to rent a kayak or canoe for 2 days and 2 overnights. From June 14th to 16th. I have a good experience of both, especially in Canada. I would prefer doing it by myself (following your recommendations about the region), but if traveling with a group is mandatory I could think about it.
Thank you
Best regards
