Museum even better the 2d time around.
I first saw the Vasa about 20 years ago. The museum has been greatly upgraded since that last occasion. It provides a great history lesson for the time period in addition to telling the story of the ill fated vessel.

    Must do the Must See!
Wow - Katerin was AMAZING!!! Met us on time and was pleasantly surprised of a very small group. Gentle stroll through Gamla Stan was so enjoyable with all of her knowledge of the city and history. Really loved all the stories of the founding of Stockholm and king stories. Vasa is definitely a Must See!!!! One of the best tour guides we’ve had in awhile… Thumbs Up !! Take this tour if you can.

    Wonderful tour with excellent guide
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with our guide Sofia. She was very knowledgeable and told us so many amazing facts and gave us such a well rounded tour of Old Town and the Vasa Museum. It was a wonderful way to spend the morning getting to know this stunning city and its rich history. We would highly recommend this tour and our guide.

    Yes. Yes worth the visit
I was concerned that this would be a straight forward historical ( perhaps boring) experience. it was anything but The Vasa ( vessel) is, in itself an impactful experience but this well curated, well designed museum offers a vivid , sensual, intelligently offered perspective for all ages . I am a senior and this was a mother - daughter trip for my young adult daughter - we were both extremely impressed and repeated what a great experience it was . Highly recommended

Walking tour of Old Town and the Vasa Museum
I wanted to take a tour that would give some history to the area I was staying in. My friend and I decided on this tour. Our guide, I believe her name was Katerin or Katherine, was simply excellent. She took the time to explain the history of old town, the vasa and the story behind it. She was engaging and pleasant and despite a rather overly know it all person in another group she handled it with grace and kindness. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the history of Stockholm. Thank you again for a wonderful afternoon.

A fascinating visit to a self scuttled ship on its maiden voyage
The museum is well worth the trip. Great for the whole family, while fascinating for the history buff. Avoid the 3-4 pm crowd in the summertime vacation period. Easy to get to

Most interesting, with a great guide!
It was drizzling, drizzling drizzling on the day of our tour, and Stockholm directions and streets can be confusing. This tour company had employees who took my call three times to try to help me figure out where I was and where I should be going. Finally, my friend and I got to the meeting spot, 15 minutes late, but Katrin, the wonderful guide, was waiting for us. There were 12 or 13 of us, and I was very impressed by the fact that she counted heads every time we turned a corner . She was not going to lose any of us! She had a great knowledge of the local history, a great sense of humor, especially when the rain just did not stop. She made sure the three of us who were “oldish“ had chairs to sit on at the Vasa Museum. We really enjoyed our tour and our guide. I highly recommend this one.

    Great guide and orientation
Great guide. About 2-3 miles walking over 3 hours. Some hills and stairs. Plus a short ferry ride. Very informative - old town area and the ship museum. Bring water and a rain jacket - in case you need it.
