Avoid Red sightseeing tours in Copenhagen
Terrible experience. It took 2hrs to finally get a bus, due to lack of buses, incorrect information from staff and buses not sticking to scheduled timetables. There are other bus tours in Copenhagen and I would strongly recommend those instead, which seemed to have more buses to get you around faster

    Underwhelming
Somewhat disappointing. Drove past many wonderful buildings without descriptions. few highlight buildings only. More of a description of how wonderful it is to live in Denmark! Twice timetable links weren't upheld ... buses left before others arrived [Canal boat trip was actually very good!!]

    Aga Forever
There is a lady named Aga working at Copenhagen Central Station. She is absolutely fantastic, professional, kind, helpful, and knows what she is doing. She was able to answer all my questions without hesitation. She gave me perfect advice on where to get off, where to use which transport, where to take the hop on hop off bus, so that I could see everything I wanted to see and have the best possible experience. Aga was my first contact when visiting Copenhagen and she made my entire stay incredibly pleasant and easy. Thank you!

    A very unpleasant experience
A very unpleasant thing happened. We boarded the bus first and sat in the two middle seats in the first row. Shortly after departure, the driver stopped the bus and went upstairs and ordered us to move. My wife asked him for explanations, but he shouted at her and, still shouting, told her to move to another place otherwise she would have to come down. My wife told him that the seats are unassigned, but he pushed her and she responded by telling him not to touch her. We were forced to accept what this “lord” imposed on us to end it. When I got off I reminded him that the seats were free, but he replied, in his usual impolite tone, that we would never go to any Hop Hoff again and he would inform his colleagues. Then he told me something interesting, that there are cameras at the top. So, if they want they can see that what I wrote is true. If you really want to take this bus, one piece of advice is to pay attention to where you sit!!!!

Simple route to get near attractions
Usual hop on hop off bus with recoded audio guides. Goes past a lot of the attractions. About 20 mins frequency but bus gets busy as the day goes on. Some spots near boat tour locations can make it extra crammed from people joining off ships. Rainy days can make the inside of the bus smell like wet carpet. App was great in figuring out bus arrival and getting in line but be mindful that it can be a massive crowd as there are 3 bus tour operators sharing some of the stops so it can be chaotic. Purchasing the ticket itself was super easy. Shout-out to Camila at the Copenhagen Central Station location who very patiently explained options. Took the bus with add on options for Tivoli entrance admission (saves 60 DKK per person for combo ticket) and if you have previously used Red Sightseeing (Stockholm or Berlin), show the ticket to get 15% off on the bus tour only ticket. If you're short of time and not comfortable navigating the metro system, this can be a good option to consider. Just sitting in bus and taking a round will be just over 1.5 hours. Buses run 9-5 but check for special timings during seasons or when boat tours are involved.

Avoid the boat part of the tour!
We were in Copenhagen for 3 nights so decided to do a bus tour on Day 1. Pros: The buses were warm and clean. The audio was great too and we saw the Changing of the Guard which was unexpected. Cons: Some of the bus stops were not clearly signposted. We had to change buses at bus stop no 1. In the cold and wet this wasn’t pleasant. The boat was the WORST boat I have ever been on. Firstly you had to walk to a hut to meet the tour guide who then walked you back to the boat - he never even had a flag nor did he count who was going on the boat before he set off so we had to keep our eyes peeled and walk very fast… The boat was open, dirty, unheated and wet - it was raining and only 4 degrees - surely you postpone this leg of the tour? The audio guide was unenthusiastic and intermittent so we sailed for ages with no commentary. No safety announcements were made before we set off so no idea where the life jackets were in the event of an emergency The windows couldn’t close so the rain came through and the window seats were wet and couldn’t be used… The boat was old and didn’t feel safe Verdict: Avoid the boat part of the tour!

    A must do
The bus tour ate great and go to all the major attractions. I would recommend doing the boat tour too. One at night and one in the day. You can do it for free with a Copenhagen card. The boat guides are very knowledgeable and you can see the little mermaid from the back.

    Rainy Day option
In all the years of traveling, I’ve seen these buses in different countries and I’ve never had the desire to buy tickets until now. It was raining in Copenhagen in November which can be normal. I didn’t feel like walking around in the rain so we sat in the bus and learned something’s about the area and sights. We got off at Nyhavn and never got back in after our dunch which is why I gave it 4 stars. My only issue is that we had a hard time finding where the bus actually stopped when it is not in front of a popular attraction. There are three hop on and off buses in town so that adds to the confusion. If you have a hard time walk all over town or traveling with someone with a physical disability or a senior, it’s a great option! I do recommend staying on the bus for an entire cycle before you get off your stop though. Get your moneys Worth. Also it’s a great alternative to a rainy day if you don’t want to be cold and wet.

Red Sightseeing Copenhagen NOT 24hour tours!
Bought 24hr sightseeing tickets for 4 people, 2 with mobility issues. Only found out on the second day that Red Sightseeing didn't operate on the 2nd day, Tuesday 5th November. We had asked about using the ticket the following day, including the canal trip and were told they were valid. So, having had to walk and get cabs we ended up having our whole schedule thrown out by misinformation and dare I say being mis-sold ? Anyway, dissapointed to say the least. Will see what they say in response to the email sent requesting a full refund. Suffice to say, can't recommend them, just stick to the bus with the official stickers on the side and avoid red sightseeing unless you ask lots of questions you didn't know you needed to ask!

Business weekend but greatly enjoyed my stay
Staff outstanding.Azizi in the restaurant being a classic example. Helpful friendly and always courteous. The location exceptional and if the owner so wished he could raise the standard to Ritz Carlton level with some additions etc.Food very good value.

Disappointed that the three advertised routes do not operate Monday to Friday as we had to get taxis to those locations
On Time reliable and comfortable a great service. Bus was clean and arrived at 30 min intervals. We discovered after buying the tickets that the tours to 2 routes do not operate Monday to Friday only on Weekends which reduced the value in our minds. We searched the brochure and website but this was not mentioned anywhere. So beware.

    Hardly hop on hop off
We had one (wet) day in Copenhagen on a cruise and opted to do the hop on hop off tour. We got off the ship at 9am, giving us 5.5 hours to explore. We bought tickets at the pier and rode into the city. We got off to explore a little but had to guess where to get back on the bus (a different stop to where we got off) - there are no bus stops or signs to tell you where to wait. We waited for half an hour, only for people who arrived at the “stop” after us to board ahead of us and we were told that the bus was full and we’d have to wait for the next one. That one came in 15 minutes, but we rode three stops when the driver announced that this was the stop to get the shuttle bus back to the ship, he was taking a break and he didn’t know when the bus would be leaving. We’d planned to ride the 1.5 hour route again to see more of the sights but with such ambiguity from the driver we couldn’t risk not getting back to the ship in time. The company had clearly sold more tickets than it could accommodate that day, the staff were terrible at communicating and we were left feeling very disappointed.

I went there with my 10 year old daughter. It was fun, it had its moments, it was very short (done in less than 30 minutes), and if you are a group in the right mood that gear each other up, then go for it. However, had we actually paid for it separately, we would have felt ripped off compared to the cost of other great attractions in Copenhagen, such as the Museum of Illusions or Believe it or Not, that offers some of the same things. For what it costs I would only recommend it if you have a Copenhagen Card, then stop by and give it a go.

A terrible experience, unfortunately. We arrived at “The Tube” and staff were friendly and helpful. Once inside, we were met with a queue at the Ball Pit which was fine and completely understandable. By using common sense and etiquette gained from being in the environment for a few minutes, we waited our turn for the main areas, and waited in an ordered line where there were obvious queues. We then passed through open spaces more quickly than other guests who were spending lots of time taking staged photos. There were no problems and most guests passed one another with a smile or thanks when guests wanted to stay in certain areas for longer. Until… we were intensely stared at and verbally abused by another customer who accused us of pushing in front of them, despite them stopping towards another area to take photographs instead of walking directly ahead. We apologised, said we meant no harm and offered them to go ahead of us. The customer began to act in a very strange way, being aggressive and threatening towards us… even mocking, insulting and directly arguing with us. It was so strange. We insisted they went ahead of us in the line so that we could diffuse the situation but they again refused. We stayed in line for a few minutes and the comments and insults continued, as well as them talking about us in a different language that we didn’t speak. We then decided to leave as my other half felt intimidated because it was aggressive at this point. Other guests looked embarrassed and concerned but no one spoke up, I tried to defend us but this person was truly unhinged and there was no reasoning with them. Even their friends looked on in disbelief. We complained at the main reception desk, and raised concerns about there being no staff inside the venue. We were offered another visit around the Tube, we declined.

It was not scheduled but thanks to the copenaghen card many attractions were included in the price so, at some unorganized time, we came across this Attraction inside the central station. Not great but very funny especially if made with children. Different settings to take your strange and curious photos.

We visited as a family of three with a teenage daughter. This attraction will suit families with teenagers or older children who enjoy taking selfies, or enjoy posing for photos. There are quite a few rooms/areas with diffferent set ups for taking photos. The trick is to be able to think fast, set up the photo you want to take with your friends/family, then move on to the next one. The company seemed to have the right amount of people going through the rooms at a reasonable pace, so we didn’t feel too rushed and didn’t need to wait too long to get in to take our photos. I can see how this may depend on the other visitors and if they choose to spend too long taking photos then it may spoil other people’s visit.
It is also interesting to be above the station looking down at all the travellers wandering through the station. There are toilets at the end of the attraction (which would be difficult to get to earlier in your tour). We spent about 45mins-1hour here.
We spent the most time at the bonus puzzle at the end of The Tube in the gift shop which the staff member invited us to tackle. We couldn’t complete it by the end of the sand timer, but given an extra few minutes, my daughter completed it.

TheTube is a platform and a Danish media project that has become quite popular, especially among young people, for its way of conveying news, entertainment and current topics in a fresh and easily digestible way. It stands out by using humor and an informal language to engage its audience.

The platform works well for those seeking a more casual insight into societal topics and trends, and it manages to make complicated or heavy news stories more accessible. TheTube also has strong profiles, as hosts and writers who are able to create a close bond with their followers.

However, it is important to note that if you prefer deeper analytics or more serious formats, TheTube may not always be the place. For many, however, it works as a complement to traditional news dissemination with a good balance between enlightenment and entertainment.

Included in the Copenhagen Card. Not worth paying on purpose because very expensive for the experience offered... Small spaces, waiting and the world... probably to do with children to understand the value. The Museum of Illusion is much nicer!

Dear Aurore, Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear that you visited us with the Copenhagen card. Our aim is to create a fun and unusual space which the guests can explore and create nice photo/video memories as well. Sometimes it could take more time for the guests to take photos and the can be a line :) But please keep in mind that we limit the number of tickets we sell to avoid long lines and waiting time! We hope you still had fun! Kind regards, The Tube Copenhagen!

The Tube Copenhagen is a great experience for everyone. It’s a fun, easygoing journey with a few interactive spaces not only for the kids. I do have to say that if you are claustrophobic or don’t like flashing lights this is not the place for you. If you wanna take photos and you only have two people, you might not be able to do all the rooms. Another reason of why I gave 4 stars is because in some rooms, they tell you what photo to take and it doesn’t make sense. For example there was a train track room and it says to stand on the train track and take a photo like what that’s just silly. A couple of the rooms were a ball pit, photo booths with props, and other rooms but I have to say it was a lot of photo taking and less physical interactive move ment. They do have a green screen at the end, you have three free shots and a few Christmas props. You have year to download them in your phone and they would give you more details later. There is a really cool photo bit where you stand in some sort of light and it makes the photo look creepy. This location also is a great spot. Take the train the central station and move outside and along the side and it will be clear. Overall the tube Copenhagen is a great place needing a few more touches.

I had a similar experience in Florence, but in this case the route is short and more interactive. Also suitable for the little ones. It's like a big game, made up of lights, sounds, colors and different settings

The most happening place in the beautiful city of Copenhagen. Just next to Tivoli gardens. Doesn't need much time to reach and even 45 minutes spent there is highly refreshing. A must visit to enjoy the fun with your partner and relaxation of body and mind both. Great thought behind the concept. Highly recommended. Staff is also very helpful and cooperative. Special mention Emmi and the lady at the entrance.

I had a great time. I was with a friend for the end of our trip. Gonza, our host, was very welcoming. He even gave us tips to better appreciate the attractions. We got some great photo memories thanks to him. A word of advice: let your inner child speak when you go.

I recommend it without hesitation. And ask for Gonza at reception!
