About
On this tour though we'll delve beyond the flashy statistics, and try to get to grips with understanding a little more the national psyche. We'll discover how the Danes cope with the chronic darkness of the winter months. We'll hear about all the boozing, candle burning and flag waving, also the brilliant environmental efforts which leave the air so fresh, the passion for bicycling, divorcing, and the ever popular royal family. You'll get to see the sights too: we'll take in the City Hall, the statue of Hans Christian Andersen, the Tivoli gardens, the site of the first settlement at Christiansborg, a boat ride passing the Opera to Gefions fountain, a glimpse of the Little Mermaid, Kastellet, the Queen’s Palace at Amalienborg, the Marble Cathedral, get to hear about 'Copenhill' power station and ski slope, then back to singing "Wonderful Wonderful Copenhagen" on the colourful harbourside at Nyhavn - where we end the tour.

She really has a professional knack of how to tell stories and kept us all enthused, inspired and thoroughly entertained throughout. I enjoyed her spirited and comical reenactments of various historical events along with all the beautiful places she introduced us to. Heather was very adept at making us feel comfortable and welcomed and at times It felt like I was the only person on the tour. I can’t recommend Heather enough, if you only do one walking tour in Copenhagen it should be this one If they start giving out Oscars for sightseeing tours I feel like Heather would be a shoo-in.Written September 29, 2019

Heather's tours are excellent if you want to see all of the sights, learn about the history of Copenhagen and have a giggle at the same time! An interesting and intriguing tour. Heather was fun, factual and added a certain flair to this tour. Fully engaged and passionate about her task in hand. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
