- petermO6844EY00Tour with RobOur guide Rob was incredible! So passionate about Copenhagen! We loved all of his backstories and insights that you wouldn’t get from most guides. Loved his stories on Hans Christian Andersen! He was thoughtful & generous and courteous. We couldn’t have been happier… Well maybe if it hadn’t rained all day!!
- N6675OKjustinm00Tour exceeded expectationsThe tour was a amazing and Bruno so knowledgeable, about the castle and Denmark as a whole. We got so much more out to the tour then we expected. If I had to rate this tour I would give it an 11 out of 10, and definitely would recommend Bruno to everyone.
- cnielsen1000Great mini escape from the city of Copenhagen.Splendid 4 hour morning spent with Bruno. We took the train to Kronborg to a lovely little fishing village where the castle is. Bruno is an amazing guide and this tour exceeded my expectations. He’s very knowledgeable, a great conversationalist and took care of everything. He also provided me with suggestions and recommendations for the remainder of my stay. I would definitely book with Bruno for any future visits! Tak!
- Bocmd133100Awesome Tour with an Awesome GuideWe had a great time on this tour. It was a perfect combination of history and “official” tour type sights mixed with local knowledge and interesting conversation. But most of all it was just plain fun. Our great guide bonded with my kids and by the end of the tour he was more family friend than tour guide. He even took us on the metro!!! I can’t recommend this tour enough.
- robertz29000Walking Tour of CopenhagenJoaquim was a great guide. We saw all the highlights of Copenhagen. And while a little pricier, a private tour is definitely the way to go.
- nisreenc400ChassOur family of four had a frederickborg castle trip with guide BRUNO he is awsm I highly recommend Bruno he has gr8 knowledge n made our trip so interesting n wonderful. I give him 10 on 10 . Allah bless him n family Chass India
- TBR200300Arigatou!It was really a wonderful trip to Frederiksborg. Our friendly guide, Bruno, has told us a lot about cultural and historical backgrounds of this amazing castle! He has also made our journey very comfortable. We were very lucky that we could meet such a nice guide. We recommend strongly – if you want to visit Copenhagen, contact Copenhagen Walking Tour!
- suepps100Hamlet and Fredericksburg castkesFantastic tour. We saw both castles in one day with our great guide “Nacho”. We met him at 945 am at the train station and he had already bought our train tickets! We arrived back at the station at a little before 7 pm. Nacho was very knowledgeable about the castles and was very enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge. He also made sure to find s gluten free restaurant for me for lunch. I would highly recommend this tour especially with Nacho. It ended up being good value as the cost included the train tickets and entry fees into the castles. I give it 5 stars!
- Lisa S00Spectacular Tourist VisitDon’t leave Copenhagen with taking this tour! The Castle visit is amazing to see. The exterior and interior architecture is indescribable in words. The castle is stunning in appearance and enormous in size. Absolutely beautiful!!! Comfortable walking shoes are needed. Lots of walking and narrow stair climbing. It’s a very physical activity. Lots of exterior grounds to walk, especially when walking through the beautiful castle gardens.
- David799100Free Walking Tour with LukasHad a really good walking tour with Lukas! A guide who originally is from Germany but has been living in Copenhagen for 6 years. A really funny and interesting Guide who made 3 hours feel like a lot shorter! Would definitely recommend him!
- Odyssey2790212851400Copenhagen walking tour small groupWonderful. Cameron gave us just the right amount of detail and history to go with the current culture of the city. Highly recommend as a first day to Copenhagen event.
- bgeraldina00Perfect for Short-Term VisitI partook in this free tour based on the suggestion from my hostel. My tour was led by Penny, who did an absolutely incredible job making the 3-hour trip informative and entertaining. Though I was only in Copenhagen for two days, I felt that this tour gave me a sense of the city and a good understanding of the related history and current events. After the tour was over, I still had the whole day to explore the rest of the city and Penny had tons of great recommendation of what to check out. Plus, she gave out coupons and discounts for different attractions around the city. I would 100% this tour to get a taste of Copenhagen.
- jinylyx00FUN walking tour in CPHI had a private CPH walking tour with guide Nacho on 22 Dec. This is such a fun tour! Good weather, beautiful palaces, colourful houses, and needless to mention Nacho, the great tour guide full of knowledge about history and fun facts about the city😁Had a lot of fun!
- janeyypops100Walking tourEntertaining and very interesting tour by MAGNUS impressive explanation of history, great sense of humour, excellent knowledge of current economic situation made this tour throughly enjoyable and informative. Highly recommend!
- Jeannie H00Really fun!!Our guide Boris made this a VERY fun and interesting day -- very highly recommended. I'm sure all of the guides are good, but we liked Boris so much, I was wishing he lived near us so we could invite him to a dinner party! BTW, I had never read "Hamlet" but did so before our trip, so I really enjoyed seeing a few of the scenes from the play acted out in the courtyard of the castle, not on a stage; the actor(s) mingle and interact with the visitors and do the scene right there.

A group of 7 adults had the pleasure of having Bruno showing us the city, and let me tell you- he’s the best in town! Easygoing, full of knowledge, funny and interesting! It is our first time in Copenhagen, and I can’t imagine a better way to get to know this amazing city! Make sure you take the tour with the boat ride- an unforgettable experience! Thank you Bruno for making our first day in town a day to remember!

This tour will give you a good idea of what to see on your own. Guide met us in our hotel lobby. We asked for some tour identification but the person did not have it with him. Felt the guide could have been dressed a bit more professionally but didn’t take away from anything. We walked to several city attractions. Guide gave us general information but not a lot of in-depth discussion. Not much in the way of history of how the city came about. He didn’t have an pictures to show of how city looked before changes. Many guides do this. This tour takes you to see the changing of the guard at the Queen’s palace which is a nice thing to see. The tour could have been an hour longer to allow for more in-depth discussions and to also visit the Rosenberg castle area. We found out about this on our food tour we took the next day. There was about 20 minutes at the end where the guide was trying to help us find a Danish food restaurant for lunch but eventually we just told him we would do this on our own.

We had both younger children and grandparents on our private tour and everyone was engaged the entire time. Our guide was fun and informative and also made sure we walked past a few trampolines for the kids and waited for us to grab an ice cream cone on the walk as well. This is a great way to learn about the city, dive deeper into culture, and explore.

The question is how many times you will take this trip. Essentially you will be able to see all the sites from up close and personal. This is the best because you will true beautiful buildings and activities taking place. The bus and boat tours are also great. But walking is the best. Definitely you will see fascinating places.
