- Mark H0 contributionsInformative and very entertainingAn hour with Tony sailing around the canals of Copenhagen was a pure delight. Very informative but told with great humour. Thoroughly enjoyable.Written October 5, 2024
- pugnut0 contributionsA great way to see the city!A great way to see the highlights of Copenhagen from the water at very reasonably price! The guide had a good sense of humor with interesting commentary, the tour takes 1 hour and there’s no bad seat plus there are numerous departures every dayWritten October 5, 2024
- iowacityia0 contributionsSunday, September 29th, 5:30pm tourWe were on the last tour of the day. I booked our tickets online, well in advance. Tickets stored in my apple wallet. Our boat tour started on time, a smallish crowd on the boat. Our tour guide was Debora. Unsure of spelling. She was great! Very well spoken, super informative, funny, and surely loves her job. The tour lasted exactly an hour. The tour went by fast. It was an enjoyable hour on the water. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. The cost was reasonable too. I would do this again if I ever came back.Written October 4, 2024
- 662libbyb0 contributionsVery complete commentary and navigationHey excellent captain and announcer. A bit coolish rainy day so we could open and close the Windows four complete comfort. Wonderful commentary on the new buildings and some history. A great spot to see the little mermaid.Written October 3, 2024

- Mel w0 contributionsFab time visiting CopenhagenIt was fun. Great way to see copenhagen. It gets very cold though. It was raining so we were provided with ponchos which added to the fun. Great time.Written September 26, 2024
- L8265VNkellyj0 contributionsGood for a quick tour of the cityGreat way to see the majority of Copenhagen and a quick one hour tour. It rained on us but the tour was still fun! They handed out ponchos to help too!Written September 26, 2024
- FrequentFlier4318460 contributionsPleasant boat trip BUT RIP OFF! As same or better trip available for approximately 1/3 the price near by!A pleasant boat trip on a sunny day but we did not have a “ live guide” and the audio guide was infantile and condescending. It didn’t even mention the Kastellet, near the Little Mermaid and easily one of the best sites in Copenhagen! However the fact that this company ( see picture) charge 169DKK PP when the company just 50m further along the canal charge just 60DKK is an OBSCENE RIP OFF! Nearly three times the price! Don’t make the mistake we made by going to the first boats where interestingly they don’t advertise their price!Written September 23, 2024
- CumfyCritter0 contributionsGreat way to see the sightsThere are a number of companies offering tours and you can choose the one that suits you. Tour is a good way to get your bearings of the city and is very interesting. The tour is covered by the Denmark card too so worth buying.Written September 23, 2024
- ajetfenty0 contributionsA must try experience in CPH!The tour guide was so funny and engaging! The itinerary was also very well thought out, diverse and very enjoyable! I do however suggest you go on a sunny day to enjoy it even more ;) There’s a cover in case of rain that you can slide above your head if you’re sitting inside of courseWritten September 20, 2024
- G8294UV_0 contributionsJust perfectJust as expected—a relaxed, one-hour tour with a moderate amount of historical information. Both the guide and the captain were fun and friendly. It was the perfect duration and amount of information for tired parents. However, I felt saddened and embarrassed by how much trash my fellow passengers left on the boat.Written September 19, 2024
- KatieK7620 contributionsFirst timer “must do”Awesome intro to Copenhagen! Michael was a fabulous tour guide and provided lots of history, fun facts and recommendations - with a side of humor!Written September 19, 2024
- 914kerryg0 contributionsCopenhagenLovely clean and friendly city Amazing public transport we used the DOT app worked perfectly stayed at the absalon hotel couple of minutes from central station and the metro transport is like clockwork. Food is not cheap. I would suggest visiting the trevoli food hall. Little mermaid was crowed. Some lovely parks to relax and chill out highly recommended for a long weekendWritten September 16, 2024

we booked a 2 day pass which included a boat trip.
We were on a cruise ship that docked a 14.00 and was booked to depart the following day at 18.00.
We decided to do a tour so we could get our bearings the following day, we had pre booked our tickets so boarding was quite easy as there were several representatives of the various bus companies there. we did a circuit and the following day we tried to get the Hop on hop off bus again. Utter chaos no reps, the bus drivers were selling tickets very slowly, there were literally 100s of passengers waiting,
Luckily the day before we noted that the stop before the cruise port was at the Little Mermaid, which was less than 1/2 mile from the cruise port, so we got on the bus there, it was completely full, but we managed to get 2 seats, The bus drove down the very narrow dock road, no one wanted to get off, so without stopping it drove on, at this stage the queue was even bigger.
the boat trip was at stop 1, we disembarked the bus, and joined the large queue with ticket in hand, when we presented the ticket we were told we needed a time ticket, and these were available from a kiosk with a que disappearing into the distance. it took us nearly 2 hours before we could get on the ship, again we were sat apart with no view Atal as the roof had turned opaque over time.

Arrived in Copenhagen on a cruise at approx 14:30, and outside the port everyone was queuing to buy tickets. 35€ valid 48hours, what they forget to tell you is it is only until 18:00 (summertime!!), So you need to be at a certain stop to ensure you can get the bus back.
Being a person who reads everything, luckily I noticed and so we just decided on the first day to just do a full circuit.
Not once was anybody informed of this, lots had to get taxis or walk back to the port.
The hop on hop off bus is a wonderful thing to use but it was ruined by this...

Dear AprilForbe,
Thank you for your review. First of all are we very sorry to hear that you think our service is a disgrace as we have uploaded all information and on our website you can see a prober timetable and a live map of the buses.
We do unfortunately not guarantee port shuttle every day and this is also something we have stated.

We love to do a hop on, hop off tour to familiarize ourselves with a city. This time we chose to add the canal tour. We enjoyed the boat more as it was a guide instead of a recording. Funny and knowledgeable, it was a new way for us to see a city.

Despite comments to the contrary we found the bus tour good. Drivers we encountered were good announcing stops and checking we knew when next bus was.
Buses were not too frequent on the purple route (2 hours) but then it was early November.
Did find the commentary a little trite but then often the case on such tours.
Boat trip was excellent with ‘live’ guide who was a real character and brought it to life.

Forget the bus tour; it’s hard to see anything driving through the city streets except the sidewalks.
Forget the boat tour, waste of money.
I would recommend, if you’re on a cruise, get your city map and rent a bike … there are NO cabs, well we didn’t see any and 50% of travel in the city is by bike.
Ride to the city square and enjoy the canals, walking, shopping; get a coffee on the pier with lunch and more walking and shopping. They pride themselves on their homes, not especially clothing or dressing. Have fun with zillions of home stores.

Upon arriving in Copenhagen we were informed the "green line" portion of their service was shut down for some reason. That caused us to take taxies to another part of town to connect with the red portion of their routes. This had to be done by taxies which cost us close to $28 for each of three required trips. Next we were waiting at their stop 11 for over 1/2 hour next to an empty bus waiting for someone to man the bus when another bus came, stopped for 15 seconds and then left us before we could get on. Finally, I tried to call them four times with questions and and no one answered any of the four different extensions I tried. Don't waste your money on this service.

Dear X8051GZwilliamg,
Thank you for your review.
We appreciate you and we are so glad to hear from you.
We are sorry that the tour had not met your expectations.
The Green line was affected due to construction work. The traffic was limited within a period of time. We are very sorry for the inconveniences this has caused you.
We hope at least that you have enjoyed your stay in Copenhagen.
Take care

A must do. Great to get you’re bearings and learn about the town. The boat ride we did twice, so relaxing. Staff are great on the boat, great English and you can even take you’re beers and ice creams onboard. The bus goes to many locations and you can then explore the city at your own pace.

My husband and I purchased the Bus and Boat 48-Hour ticket and thoroughly enjoyed two days of seeing Copenhagen in a clean and comfortable bus and boat. The narration was very good also and we received excellent information from the tour guide and the audio actually worked great. The boat was really nice and got to see the Little Mermaid from the boat. Highly recommend this Hop-On Hop-Off...much better than most that we have been on in the past.

The buses were fine and clean, the narrative easy to understand with the air buds. The problem that we had was that the driver closed the door on my daughter’s arms and legs before she was able to exit the bus. They need to take more care to assure that all passengers are off the bus, including disabled people like she, who may take a little longer To exit

Dear xgwoman,
thank you for your honest feedback.
We appreciate the time that you have taken to write about your experience with us.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
You are right, the driver should be more observant and assure that all the passengers are off the bus. We will take your comment further and discuss it with our team.
Thank you .
Wishing you a great day

Having only a short period of time in Copenhagen, the Bus and Boat ticket is a must for the tourist wanting to get an overview of this beautiful city and an introduction to it’s history past and present. The Bus & Boat ticket affords the customer 48 hours to utilise its services. Each tour provides a different perspective but equally interesting, one from the land and the other from the water. We particularly enjoyed the Boat trip given the glorious weather but both Bus and Boat with its informative commentary is most enjoyable, educational & time well spent for time poor and other travellers.
