- The hiking that leads to the cave of Saint Dionysius takes about 20 minutes and requires comfortable walking shoes

In chance of non favorable weather conditions (mostly during winter season) the short trekking may not be included. In this chance, it is replaced either by visiting the picturesque village of Litochoro (walk in the main traditional square) or by visiting the Holy Monastery of Saint Dionysus (visit to the old and the new one)

Definitely worth the money, the guide was lovely and the group was small so it felt very personalised.
All the locations were great and the guide had lots to talk about! The suggested lunch locations were also good and the drive was comfortable.

We got off to a rushed start as we didn’t realise that Aristotle square was actually two squares and a row of shops between them . We were waiting at the wrong end!! The trip was reasonably priced for what we saw. The guide was excellent however if you want a leisurely day out don’t go. In order to pack everything in we were somewhat rushed especially on the hike up the gorge. Having said that we throughly enjoyed the experience of seeing an archeological and museum with fabulous exhibits of artefacts found at the site of Dion. Mount Olympus was spectacular. No regrets of expecting this on a short stay in Thessaloniki.

An interesting day spent outside with a professional guide, who shared a lot of information both in Dion and Olympus.
In Dion we were able to walk around ourselves, so everyone can impact how much to walk and how to spend time reserved for this activity.
I was really happy that our tour guide was concerned about safety and we went on Olympus track all together. It is not a difficult path, but still I think it is better to walk together.
Free time in Litochoro was enough for having a lunch (multiple cafes around there) and some souvenir shopping.
Bus drive was safe and comfortable (about 40 seats in the bus for approximately 20 people), great chance to view landscapes of Greece.
In Dion we were able to walk around ourselves, so everyone can impact how much to walk and how to spend time reserved for this activity.
I was really happy that our tour guide was concerned about safety and we went on Olympus track all together. It is not a difficult path, but still I think it is better to walk together.
Free time in Litochoro was enough for having a lunch (multiple cafes around there) and some souvenir shopping.
Bus drive was safe and comfortable (about 40 seats in the bus for approximately 20 people), great chance to view landscapes of Greece.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and the sites we visited were beautiful. Unfortunately one of the raods to Mt Olympus was closed so we had to go on a different path. We did really enjoy Dion and stopped for lunch in very nice Litochoro. The reason I am giving it three stars is because this was during Covid and the tour guide was driving the whole time without a mask, and 90% of the time that we were outside visiting the sites he did not have his mask on. Add to the fact that he spits when he talks, it was very hard for us. There were 4 of us on the tour and we all had our masks on the entire time.

I travel a good deal, and historical tours are among my favourite ways to feel immersed in the culture and history of a place and to benefit from the expertise and personality of a guide. Sadly, our guide created the opposite experience. He offered no information, no stories, no jokes - nothing. Instead he was brusque, and defensive and unhelpful when asked any questions. He provided nothing but a taxi service between sights. He was unwelcoming and unfriendly, too. Instead of looking to see how he might help/engage with his group at sights, he was only concerned with taking photos of himself for his personal Instagram. And, far from transporting us back into Ancient Greece, the long car journeys were made worse as we were forced to listen to his American rock music at full volume the entire way. I couldn't wait for the tour to end. Such a shame.

Κindly we would like to inform you that our guide Giannis has a lot of experience for years and the comments we receive from each destination are excellent for his professionalism.
Regarding the pick up point, unfortunately we did not receive any information and while you did not answer the phone the driver waited for almost 1 hour trying to leave the rest of the passengers happy, so that you do not miss the trip and do not upset the other customers.
We will be glad to see you again on one of our excursions, to give us the opportunity to offer you our excellent services

Took this tour 07.04.23, Vayos (the driver) and Nepheli (the tour guide) really made our day! They both were so kind, approachable, very positive! Nepheli told us so many interesting facts, a bit history even mythology! I really recommend to have a trip with those guys 😉

This tour was very informative and enjoyable. Our tour guide was well spoken and helpful. She explained the history behind the sites we visited and gave us suggestions of what to do and where to grab lunch. There was enough time to take in the beauty of the sites and have short breaks. It was a great way to spend the day without getting too tired. A very pleasant day of fresh air and beautiful sightseeing.

This was a beautiful journey. Seeing Dion and the archeological museum was lovely. We had a short stop at a cute Taverna for some coffee and a snack. My ultimate favorite part was Mount Olympus. It was truly spectacular — the views & the waterfall at the end, Pó po-pó!! (WOW in Greek slang). Be prepared to do some walking and bring lots of water / electrolyte rich drinks, snacks, especially in the summer time.
I took many beautiful photos at the mountain range, although photos don’t do justice to how you feel when you are there. The nature was so serene. Take it all in!!
Thank you to our amazing tour guide Eleni (aka Helen) for being so informative and passionate. You made it very fun for us all. Notably I came solo and it was quite a diverse group of people w/ a broad age range and from different parts of the world; we all quickly made friends with each other in the group & got along so well. We had a nice lunch at another Taverna closer to Mt Olympus then headed back to our meeting point in Thessaloniki. I’m very happy I spent my day this way!

The entire day was just so lovely. It was everything we expected and so much more. Our tour guide, Lazarous literally knew everything you needed to know about Ancient Greece, he was really welcoming and also really funny. I would definitely recommend this trip. I am a 71 year old lady and have to be careful of walking as I am a bit unsteady on my feet. Could I go on this tour and not visit the site of Dioysisus, as it involves some hiking.? Thanks, Beatrice

The hiking only takes about 20 minutes but I don't see why you can't stay in the town whilst the rest of the group go to the waterfall. The temples will be found at the Archaeological dig site so you can walk around there at your own pace (within a time frame): but just be careful of the cobblestones and uneven floor
