We have done a few tours in European cities, which have all been good. But this one was the best. Our guide Tonia was amazing. She knew everything and everyone and we really felt like insiders rather than just visitors. Tonia’s English was fantastic and she was extremely entertaining. She did everything possible to make us feel special and help us learn about the food of the city she clearly loves. We actually saw how some of the food we tasted was made, which was so interesting. All the food was delicious and, although we have travelled for many years in Greece, we learned so much more in just a few hours about the country and the city’s food. I would thoroughly recommend this tour, but give one word of warning. DO NOT EAT BEFORE YOU GO! And pace yourself on the tour - you will not go hungry and you will eat some of the most delicious Greek food you have ever tasted. Thank you Tonia for making this such a great and memorable tour.

Our food tour was fantastic, which was led by Adele she was really informative answer lots of questions and we learnt alot. The food was great and there was so much we had to take our gyros home with us lol Definitely recommend.

We had an AMAZING time at this cooking class! Highly recommend for a dinner in Athens! Chef was fun and serious at the same time. He truly wanted each persons food to be a delicious master piece. We loved that he incorporated personal stories and aspects from his life into the class and food. Again, I would HIGHLY recomend this class!

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our guide, Antonia was first class. Very knowledgable, attentive and looked after our family party perfectly. The food stops were varied and food absolutely delicious. The indoor market was fascinating. Our favourite stop was the Tavern where we shared numerous tasty plates of tapas style dishes, ranging from sardines, squid and delicious cheeses to the perfect vegetarian plates. We watched pastries being made and greek coffee being brewed - overall a truly wonderful experience.

This tour, Acropolis and Acropolis’s museum,was very informative, easy walking, luckily we also had good weather. This tour is a must while visiting Athens and having a knowledgeable guide makes this experience even more memorable. Lydia our guide is an encyclopedia of history, she’s also a part time photographer 😉. Thank you for the wonderful time !

Amazing tour. Our guide, John was extremely well informed and a goldmine of information which he delivered in an engaging way. Our group ranged from 11 to 78 years old and everyone had a great time. Even this Ancient Greece nerd was impressed. Thoroughly recommended.

Our guide Lydia was very informative and also treated everyone in the group with such kindness. The walk up to the acropolis was a very easy pace which would suit any abilities. The Parthenon was breathtaking and the view of Athens was spectacular! Highly recommend this tour and activity. If you can’t afford a tour, 10 Euro for entry it’s totally worth it! Must do…

I felt I experienced a true taste of Greece. I was able to walk and learn about the traditions, methods and daily life. Adele was wonderful!

John, the archaeologist, was great fun and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it. The climb up the acropolis was made easy by frequent stops on the way up to catch your breath. A plethora of interesting facts and stories were combined masterfully to create a very enjoyable day.

The guide was extremely knowledgable, there were plenty of stops and the tour was just long enough (we have two children aged 11 and 8. With our two youngsters I was happy to not add on the museum tour, this would’ve been too long for them). The tour finished at the Acropolis so we were left to explore more at our own pace, so you could make it longer than the 1hr30 specified.
