We didn’t enjoy the full day cruise unfortunately
We went on a day cruise to Mount Athos and Blue Lagoon with the pirate ship. We realized that an 8hours trip was too long and unfortunately we didn’t enjoy it. It was a very hot day and we sailed to Mount Athos first with no break in between for a swim. The pirate ship didn’t approach the shore in Mount Athos, we could see other cruise lines sailing much closer to the shore than ours. We only reached the waters of the Blue Lagoon around 3pm and it was very refreshing to finally swim in the sea. The crew tried to keep us entertained up until 3pm (since 9.15am) but we thought the commentary about Mount Athos and the monasteries was very poor, the lunch offered on board was bad and the quality of the music played was also very poor. None of us (family of 4) enjoyed it unfortunately and we wouldn’t repeat it. On the positive side, the crew was very helpful and polite at all times, the prices at the bar of the ship were reasonable and there was plenty of seating across the ship’s 3 decks so it didn’t feel overcrowded.

        Milos in Half a Nutshell
We had booked the Instagram tour as it was only 3 hours long and promised to take us to the island's most scenic places without stopping too long at any of them. We had booked it as a semi-private tour, which meant that others might join. Until the day before this didn't seem to be the case, but then the company received a last-minute booking for a 4-hour tour and thought they were doing us a favour by extending our 3-hour tour to four hours. It might have worked, but unfortunately they had not allowed for a bigger car, and so the three of us in the back travelled in very cramped conditions. Our guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable, he very much seemed to enjoy his job. He took us to some really photograph-worthy sites and didn't hurry us along. Unfortunately, he got his timing very wrong at Sarakiniko. Instead of spending around 30 minutes in this otherworldly landscape, we dawdled there for twice as long. In the end we missed out on the Ancient Roman Theater altogether when we were meant to have 40 minutes here. If you stay on Milos, you will have more options for touring around, but if you visit on a cruise, the Instagram tour is probably one of the best land-based tours to give you a feel for the island.

Oh my word what a fantastic trip. Everyone should do this when travelling to Skopelos. We were a party of 5 friends and enjoyed every second from the moment we got on the coach to when we got off. Jackie was our guide and was very informative and told us many stories of the island. Loved climbing to the church, visit to the Olive press, Kastani beach and an amazing lunch. Do not miss this.

        Mamma Mia what a blast
Denisa was a fabulous tour guide, extremely informative and full of energy. The bus driver was very skilled on the challenging roads. The chapel, Kastani Beach and Agnota beach we visited all exceeded our expectations the lunch was delicious and overall value for money excellent. Most importantly it was the highlight of the stay in Skopelos and we loved it! Thanks

        Homemade and Heartfelt Cookery
Vivian's cooking class was an extraspecial experience. Her recipies were passed down to her from her grandmother (a dash of this, a shake of that). Vivian is fun-loving with a well organized program and she creates a warm friendly atmosphere among the participants. The end result; my daughter and I rated this as our best meal after spending 2 weeks traveling in Greece.

Good, good great, beautiful spot for sunset but got a bit samey after 2 hours.
Arrived on the early side so was pretty hot st our table. A young lad was putting water on the tables but didn’t come to us straightaway and we were really thirsty. We also were not offered a drink when we arrived. Started off with a photo with a Greek woman. Later on the music started with typical Greek music. Then interspersed with lots of singing and dancing. Beautiful spot in Zia overlooking a church and the mountains- lovely sunset. Wine was average but ok. Food re the mezze was fabulous. Main meals were also ok but was pretty full by then. Kids danced a couple of times. The singers looked as though they didn’t like each other. There was a significant lack of chemistry between them hence why gave it 4 stars (they didn’t look like they were enjoying it). That and the dirty glasses. Hate it having wine glasses with different shades of lipstick. Had to clean the glass before use. We had a nice time but did leave early. It all got a bit samey after a while. Being back plate smashing!

        The best adventurous experience!!
We had an absolute BLAST!! Saw several islands from the boat. We docked 3 islands allowing time to swim at one of them. Touring on 2 others. Special adult drinks included but also a bar available. The crew was amazing and gave so much good information. We had a group of dolphins leading our boat which made it so much fun! They played good music like Greek, classic party mixes, and mama mia soundtracks. Everything on the boat was spotless, bathrooms had plenty of room. There was multiple levels but I stayed om the main deck only because I already had enough sun. We could move around to get pictures. All in all. A wonderful experience and I will go again when the opportunity comes! Thank you 😊

        Skiathos, beautifully Greek.
We didn't island hop but decided to stay and explore the island by Jeep. We were blown away with the beaches to the north getting there via fun sand tracks through the hills. It was very much an island of traditions. Yes, it has moved on from 40 years ago when we visited the Greek Islands, but it is a beautiful island with crystal clear waters. Also the friendliness of all the islanders is lovely. Skiathos town is large enough for lots of tavernas and life while Triulos is a smaller quiet location but still with good selection of tavernas and beaches. Also its on the koukounaries to skiathos town bus route. This is a lovely island.

        Stunning day out
We had a fantastic day on this boat trip. The crew were wonderful- so friendly and obliging - nothing was too much trouble. There were delicious morning snacks, with whatever drinks you wanted. Lunch was incredible- a huge plate of delicious food cooked and prepared fresh onboard. The swimming stops were so much fun - especially the cliff jumping and cave swimming. The colours of the water everywhere is indescribable. I highly recommend this tour.

        Cracking trip⚓️⛴️🇬🇷
Fabulous trip! Had to take a detour and visit islands in different order due to the waves but we enjoyed this just as much as the original plan. The crew were great, prices for amenities were brilliant and the entertainment on the boat added to the journey. Information supplied about the islands along with communication for timings was very helpful and clear. If you’re looking for a cross between culture with a hint of Mamma-Mia, this is the tour for you! 10/10

        Day at Sea with swimming
Our experience started off a bit confusing as we had two conflicting emails about arrival time and name of our boat to look for at the port of Paroikia. Luckily we decided to go early and it was good that we did. If you’re driving to the port from anywhere other than Parikia, parking is about a 10 minute walk down to the port so plan ahead. Once we got to port, we were actually on the later boat called Maria, instead of Meraki, which we were happy about. Maria appears to be a newer and more updated boat. There are about 40-45 people on the boat and while we had enough space to move around, it is a bit tight at times. Bring towels, sunscreen, hats. We went to 4 stops on our cruise - Blue Lagoon, Despotiko, Antiparos & sea cave/cliff jumping option. The waters are cool and refreshing to jump in & clear. They offer noodles to float & goggles if desired. Snacks were offered after swim stops & lunch was seafood orzo, fresh salad, potato salad & bread. Drinks offered on board - white wine, beer, water, soft drinks. The crew was nice but there wasn’t a lot of interaction with guests. There were minimal announcements about the locations & they could have used a speaker so everyone could hear. We had a fun day at sea and swimming. No land stops on our tour. We enjoyed the cave swim option the best at the end! Overall a great day.

Long day; recommend for total experience of the culture and island!
Great trip! It was a long day; bus driver was a little late to pick me up at the start, contacted the company and had an immediate response. Wear sunscreen! Great walking tour of a traditional Greek village and plenty of time to explore for lunch. The sunset was my favorite part! Great historical tour of some ruins. I recommend this trip!!

Great Day at Sea With Amazing Food and the Best Crew
My teenaged daughter and I had a great experience on this boat tour. The crew was nice but didn't bother anybody and they made an amazing lunch. They even made a pot of coffee for me late in the day after everyone else was done with it and it was all put away. The waters were absolutely gorgeous. Swimming in the cave was our favorite part. It was a little tight trying to move around with everyone aboard, but I would still recommend this excursion to anyone. Take and bring meds if you get seasick! You'll need them. We were fine with our Less Drowsy Dramamine and Ginger pills but would have been miserable without them.

        A must for a visit
We had already read the book about Spinalonga and felt privileged to have visited the island. It was everything we hope it would be. The tool lady did talk for half an hour which was a needed arrival at the island

A clarification: We did not do this commercial activity because we practice snorkeling and kayaking.
Leclerc Voyage "sold" us Zakynthos largely for its turtles (and for the shipwreck bay).
In fact, turtles are migratory animals, they arrive in May,
mate, lay eggs in Zakynthos and leave at the end of July for Africa.
In September, you only see the numerous nesting sites, marked on the beaches by wooden pyramids.
We met a couple who actually saw an old turtle, probably too tired to make the return trip, surrounded by 4 tourist boats: She couldn't stand this noise anymore, poor thing!
      Let them live!
