Done quite a few "hop on, hop off" tour buses and this, by far, was the worst. We sat for ages in the port just looking at a cruise ship then on through town to Church of the Hypapante at Gouvia, or rather - the end of the runway for the airport. It didn't actually go down to the Church as the path down was closed. We usually 'do the bus' to listen in to the local information but I found out more on Google maps.

There aren't really very many stops so might not be worth it to everyone. We would've had to pay $12 for a transfer from our cruise ship and since this bus picks up and drops off at the port, the extra $10 was worth it for the extra stop and the commentary. Downside, we waited for over an hour for the but to pick us up at one of the stops. This was fairly early in the morning and later on in the afternoon, there was a much higher bus frequency. There are at least 2 other bus services offering this same type of tour. During our hour wait, we only saw 1 of each of those as well so I don't think the other tours offer more frequent service. I will say this... I lost my ticket and assumed I'd have to buy another one to get back on the bus but they were very helpful and gave me a new ticket. (I was with 3 others that had a ticket and I still had my headphones.)
There was also a person on each bus, in addition to the bus driver, that would answer questions and make sure that you knew which stop you were at and where to pick up the buses.

We took line 1, it was a fast trip and did not cover as much as we had hoped it would have. We jumped off in two location. It was better and cheaper than taxis.

Worst bus tour ever. We often do these but for 19 Euros we got to see the back streets of corfu town and port. When we got to the various points we could not see eg the view, the palace where Prince Philip was born etc without getting off and the bus doesn’t stop long enough. There was not enough there to make it worthwhile stopping. It would be better to hire a well informed taxi driver at the port and there are quite a number of them

This had to be the worst bus tour I have ever been on, the guide has more musical interludes the actual information. I have to believe there is more historical facts about Corfu town than this journey provides. The sound quality is also poor and no where does it advise channel for preferred language. At 19 euro p/p I would say buy yourself a good guide book instead.

This is a good service with good drivers and good audio. But since it is Corfu you need to be aware of some things.
First, pick up at the cruise port is not right at the port visitor center, but across a large parking lot. Plan on a little walk.
Second, like most ancient adriatic cities, Corfu allows no vehicles in the city center. The bus goes around Corfu city and not through it. But since Corfu is a small island with narrow roads and too many cars, traffic is terrible, and it can take a long time to go anywhere. In short, leave plenty of time to get back to the ship.
Beyond that, the bus is a pleasant trip up and down the east side of the island.

We didn’t have plans in Corfu so when we saw the Hop On Hop Off Bus we thought it would be great. I love that we had the opportunity to pick and choose where to stop and how long we wanted to stop. I find with guided tours it can be a bit much following their time frames. Sometimes I want to stay longer and sometimes I barely want to stop. There was every kind of spot you can think of, the beach, fortress, a castle I believe (we didn’t stop there), in the middle of town. We really enjoyed it. I think going more on the off season, helped prevent us from getting stuck in traffic and those types of problems. For us it was well worth the €18!

This is an expensive, poorly run bus trip. The trip barely lasts 30 minutes and in our case we had to change buses at the cruise port. The commentary is sparse and a lot of the soundtrack is music. Half the trip back from Mouse island was through the back streets of residential Corfu-hardly sightseeing. It was not helped by the heaps of rubbish piled up in the streets which has been going on all of this season.The company must have known about this and could have chosen a different route. If you really want to do this trip take it early in the day when you will get more value for money. If you get on at the cruise port the sales team are very pushy.A disappointing experience.

Although the tour was €19 it was worthwhile. You can get on and off as many times as you like and the views from the bus are great. Helpful commentary.
