About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- r0se6660 contributionsAn excellent day trip from Corfu to Albania. The excursion is great value for money and well worth doing. The ferry to Albania was quick and pleasant and all the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. (Purchase your duty free items in the Corfu ferry terminal as there isn't an opportunity on the way back - if there was I missed it!) The tour guide was extremely informative as we drove to the UNESCO site of Butrint. We had ample time at the site and the views are spectacular. The lunch was pleasant and drink costs are low and there is a great selection of local beers. Following lunch, we were given 2 hours to meander along the promenade before the return trip to Corfu. I highly recommend this trip, Albania seems like it is on the cusp of change and now is a good time to visit.Written October 26, 2024
- 747leventef0 contributionsAn amazing dayWe went with my fiancé on this trip just a couple of days ago and it was 10/10. The team of the boat was really friendly and funny. They gave really good vibes for the whole trip. The places we has been were beautiful and also the bbq was really enjoyable. The only thing that I noticed is the price is cheaper if you buy the tickets on spot. We bought it online and it was 63€ each of us but on spot it was only 40€. So I would suggest to check the appointments online and buy it when you get there. Thank you for the service we definitely will recommend it to our friends!Written October 2, 2024
- Whitehalltraveller0 contributionsBeautiful scenery! The maximum group size is 6 people but there was only 3 of us so felt like a private tour. You don’t cover the Old Town in detail, so doing a walking tour is an advantage which we had booked too. Getting across the island is best in a mini van as some of the roads were narrow. If you were in the back seats, you may struggle to hear the guide/driver so I would ask that he wears a microphone.Written September 30, 2024
- gregmackinnon980 contributionsAmazingGreat fun, great organizers and captain. Amazing food, stop with the possibility of swimming and unforgettable views. Definitely worth the price and time. Would definitely do it again .Written September 24, 2024
- Momopattino20 contributionsAmazingNo comment, just go and try, amazing team, food was good, soft drinks are for free too, Wine was free during lunch Thankyou very much,Written September 21, 2024
- KarlL13140 contributionsAwesome experience. The trip was great. The host and crew were fantastic. Lots of time for swim and very good food. The sights and stops made along the way were thoroughly enjoyed.Written September 8, 2024
- Excursion6284250 contributionsDon’t miss this one!Gregory picked my husband & I up at our hotel yesterday exactly at 9, and we were surprised to find he was our private guide for the day. Excellent driving in a BMW 520 with wonderful air conditioning (we’ve been hot the whole 3 weeks weve been touring Greece & Turkey, so decent air conditioning is heaven at this point!). Fantastic itinerary, with some Flex Time for personal choices since it was just us 2. We added in a boat ride to the Caves & the Blue Eye (so cool!) and shopping for everything made from Olive Oil.Written September 2, 2024
- GoPlaces398718759900 contributionsBeautiful Swimming! We had an excellent time on board with Spiros and his crew. Not too many people and we were taken to some beautiful swimming places. The BBQ lunch was absolutely delicious. Thus was a well organised and enjoyable cruise. Worth your money. Enjoy!Written August 25, 2024
- 8427A0 contributionsChaotic passport control! We were collected at 6.40am from our hotel and taken to Corfu Town. The coach takes you to the port, where you receive a boarding card (you must not lose this as you need to show this to get on and off the boat). Once we were off the coach, it was a bit stressful as nobody really knew where they were going. It is a bit of a hectic time because people are everywhere and pushing to get to places. It took roughly 45 minutes to get through passport control and to get onto the boat. After getting through passport control, you are left to find the boat you need to board. Again, another stressful experience. At 9.30 am, the boat set sail. There was more queuing involved when you got on. You have to pay for your visa and pay for the guided tour (if you want to do that). It was a 1 hour boat journey. There are some lovely views during the boat the trip, and there is some little commentary of points of interest. Once off the boat, if you are doing the guided tour, you then separate into spoken languages and board the coach. After 1 hour, we reached the National Park of Butrint. The tour guide showed us around the ancient city and was very informative. We had approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes exploring. I'd recommend bringing a water bottle with you as there is lots of walking involved. I enjoyed the stop here. There is lots to learn and some great historical ruins. Then, we were driven to a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. We had 50 minutes here. The food consisted of bread, vegetables, rice, meat, and fruit. It was a pleasant lunch. None of the food was labelled, but it was fairly obvious to identify what was what. However, they had no sauce available apart from tzatsiki. Drinks were not included in the price, but the prices of drinks were not extortionate. Afterwards, we were given 1 hour and 15 minutes to explore Sandara. There are plenty of restaurants along the promenade but not many shops. Finally, we met the tour guide along the promenade, and he walked us back to the port. Passport control is absolutely awful!! There is no organisation or queing system. Everybody is just pushing their way to the front and barging you. This is a big downside to the trip as it is very stressful and chaotic. It actually ended our trip on a downside.Written August 20, 2024
- Jennifer0820 contributionsTrip to Albania worth a visitExcellent trip to archaeological site. Enough time so we were not rushed. Tour guide was great and very informative. Good lunch on way back. Boat was too crowded and only just able to get a seat.Written August 14, 2024
- Elizabeth R0 contributionsIt was goodThe boat was crowded on the way over with people having to stand. The journey was ok and good as it had a hotel transfer. Albania was lovely and most people friendly. We went in August so it was very hot. I wish we had stayed on to visit the old ruins (sorry do not know the name!)Written August 8, 2024
- Tammie D0 contributionsWell organized tourWell organized and informative tour. Tour company made getting in and out of Albania very easy. Tour guide at Butrint was a wealth of knowledge. We could have spent less time there which would have allowed more free time for swimming as beaches were beautiful. Perhaps a tweak to itinerary to afford this? All in all, a good experienceWritten July 23, 2024
- clairehU1987OU0 contributionsFantastic!! Great family-run boat tripFantastic boat trip with an amazing family-run operator! Great swimming locations and delicious bbq. Don’t forget to take cash for any alcohol you want, but there’s water and soft drinks included in the price. Really inexpensive for pretty much the full day on the water.Written July 22, 2024

We were with a client meant called Sarris, oldish boat but safe, good bar in an air conditioned indoor area, managed to get outside seats for the whole trip. All was on time, just short of 2 hours at each stop off. Long time on the boat, but what do you expect? Relaxing time, crew were efficient and friendly. Well worth the 32euros.

Beautiful scenery on voyage from Corfu to Parga. Parga is a very pretty port with lots of restaurants and shops. Lots of steps and hills so not ideal for people with mobility problems. Well worth a visit. Paxos is another very attractive port which has developed considerably since the 1970s. Not the sleepy Greek island it was! Enjoyed the day but didn't really have enough time in either place. We probably should not have taken the coach trip round the island as we would have liked more time in Gaios. Long day -11 hours in all but a good day out.

Don’t waste your money! What they don’t tell you is it’s 3 hours to get there, then an hour between each island and the long journey back- all for 2 hours on each island. It is a lot longer than the advertised 8 hour day- we left the hotel at 8.30am and got back at 7.30pm.
The Saaris boat was Old and noisy, one couldn’t hear the announcements if sitting outside as the engine noises were too great, and she gave slightly different information out depending on what language she was speaking!!!
Parga is sweet but just enough time to eat lunch or wander but not both, then at Paxos the boat parked about a mile from the town, so for the infirm it was impossible, and then just more shopping when you got there.
A long day with little to see whilst on the boat and not much when you get there!!

Great day out! Very comfy boat space with glorious views of Greece and the islands. Some information from the captain as we went along but not too much, just pointing out key points - in a variety of languages. We opted for the bus to see a beautiful beach on Paxos. Long day, but the boat has a cafe and drinks.

Please avoid this trip. Apparently it is lovely if the weather is good, but I wouldn’t be too sure of that. We had a dreadful trip ~ some similar trips on the same day were cancelled for safety reasons. The weather was windy & the boat did not feel safe ~ we were rocking all over the place. Even if the weather is good it takes 2.5hrs to get from Corfu port to Parga where we stayed for just under 2hrs. Then it takes a further 2hrs to get across to Paxos. There is nothing much in Paxos ~ just a marina & it’s a fair walk from the dock, no good if you had mobility problems. We docked there for nearly 2 hrs and then another 2-2.5hrs back to Corfu. We were never so glad to get off that boat. I had to give this one star before it would let me post ~ I wouldn’t give it any!!

Be aware that you will only be allowed visiting time on the destinations for approx 3 hrs of the total 12 hrs journey. Don t take the bus tour (€ 9 per person) on the Paxos island, nor worth it and you are left with only 40 min to visut the harbour town around the Canal.
If you are easaly unsettled on a boat be aware that the sea is heavy on the return to Corfu.
Not a good experience!

I booked this trip through Viator and was given a 9am hotel pickup time. The day before seemingly Viator email a time change to 0815 which we didn’t receive. Pachis came to the hotel but as we weren’t outside drove off without us. Their driver couldn’t be bothered to come into our hotel and ask for us. We were ready and could have gone. So we have missed the trip and lost money. So my simple advice - don’t use them.

We are sorry you did not get the boat trip but as mentioned in your booking voucher the pick up service starts earlier from hotels and not at the boat departure time. You are advised also that you will receive a message for the exact pick up time time which we did and you received via Viator. The bus drivers have to pick up the clients from the meeting point we mention to clients and they are responsible to look arrounf the hotels, because they will arrive late at the port and then the other clients will complain about the delayed departure. Thank you for your understanding

Is the weather good for this journey in September....??
Written June 23, 2019
If our ship is in port from 1-8 PM, does that allow plenty of time for this tour?
Written September 10, 2018
Would this trip be possible from a cruise ship that is in port 7 am - 4 pm?

No, afraid not. We didn 't get back to Corfu until 7 p.m.
