Superb day out to Symi. A long day if like us you start and finish at Kiotari but worth it. Comfortable seats and friendly crew. There is a canopy on the upper deck so you are not in direct sun for too long, especially if you sit on the port side. There were two other pick up points before stopping at Rhodes city where some people got off to spend the day there and loads got on to continue to Symi. If you want to go to Rhodes this would be my preferred mode of transport as other places were offering trips to Symi but you went to Rhodes by coach. In these Covid days ,limiting time in confined spaces with lots of people makes sense. Plus, you get a fun boat ride and see the coast line. Symi itself is really cute and pretty. For this reason it is obviously busy but there are plenty of Tavernas and souvenir shops. You get three hours there which is about right if you decide to have lunch. On the return journey there is a stop off at St George‘S bay to swim. It is spectacular with towering cliffs. Beverley was really helpful as although we had paid our deposit, we were unsure the day before if the boat was sailing as there had been high winds the day before. We got a speedy response to our email and all was good for our trip. A memorable, fun day.😃

Payed for Kiotari to Rhodos and back (45€ p.P.) On our way to Rhodos we got 15€ p.P. back in cash, coz the boat had motor issues and got replaced by a bus. On our way back to Kiotari, the boat had some exhaust issues, had to take a bus and we got 10€ back p.P.. You pay 20€ p.P. for a bus ride with bad AC (public bus is 6-7€). If you give it a try don’t pay with credit or debit card, probably some money laundering (they have a lot of cash for refunds).

In Mandraki Harbour the booking point is amongst others and you will need to search for it. Professional ticketing at 30 Euros each. We took early boat to Lindos but beware of steep 'heart attack' track from landing point to Town Square for taxis. We lugged suitcase up this track, overtaken by donkeys carrying those without luggage. It was like an SAS trial but fun. Use this service to Lindos or Kiotari, it saves time and money

The 6 hours were enough to visit all the important parts of Rhodes and have lunch at McDonalds! Great service!

Great trip, and value for money. The journey was very enjoyful with a lovely scenery and a much better way to go to Rhodes for the day, than the bus which if you are not lucky you may have to stand for the 2 hour journey!
