Symi Island Cruise from Rhodes with transfers from Ialyssos and Ixia

Overview

Experience Symi, one of the most striking islands in the Aegean, on an all-day cruise. Enjoy sightseeing at the St. Michael Panormitis monastery and exploring Symi village. This convenient, budget-friendly outing includes hotel pickup and drop off in Ialyssos and Ixia and offers plenty of free time for relaxing and swimming or shopping and dining.

What to Expect
You are picked up from your accommodation in Ialyssos or Ixia resort for the transfer to Rhodes port where you will embark the passenger ferry Nikolaos X. You will receive all the information about the cruise from your escort. It takes approx. 1 h 45’ to reach the Island. On the way to Symi, stop to visit the monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis for 1 hour. It is considered one of the most holy monasteries in the South Aegean. You can explore the interior of the monastery or walk around the area to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this impressive sight.
After continue a beautiful 1hour cruise around the island’s West coast with a small stop by the famous bay of St. George bay for photos off the deck. Around mid-day you will arrive to the little port of Symi where you will disembark the ferry for a 3.5 hours individual visit. Symi village is full of beautiful neo-classical mansions, many cafeterias, hospitable sea-front taverns, little beach located nearby, folk and art shops, stalls with sponges, wooden carvings, and handcrafts! At the end of your day cruise you will have the return transfer to your accommodation.
