About
Join us on-board the Dorry, a fast glass-bottom vessel! We promise to show you around the sea neighborhood of the Aegean Sea and get you acquainted with Kos and Pserimos islands.
On this trip, you will enjoy the Greek sun and be able to see the sea bottom at the same time.Since our vessel has two different decks, you may grab a drink in the shaded area and watch the fish through the glass bottom, or get your cocktail to the top deck and let the Greek sun work on the magical bronze skin color. We will take our time during the swimming stop and will let you know when you should gather around the thick glass bottom of Dory to have a look at an old shipwreck.
Who knows, maybe you will encounter sea life you've never seen before after all!

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Jayne C0 contributionsGreat tour, crew is fantastic and amazing priceGreat staff and atmosphere on board. Well organised and the islands visits were beautiful. Food and drink on board was very nice. Would have preferred less people onboard and more opportunity to lay down and sunbathe. But I would recommend this cruise. A few tour boats leave at the same time and Captain Morgan gets there first and everyone has the first choice of seatsWritten November 2, 2024
- V4189EXgemmab0 contributionsGreat tripLovely boat, brilliant staff, reasonably priced drinks and lunch was good. Music and party tunes were great, added bonus that we saw dolphins. Happy dolphins, happy people! 😁Written November 1, 2024

- LouLouLouLou20140 contributionsGreat full day out for familiesWe were told that the boat would depart at 9:15, but it didn't leave until 10. Despite this, it was a fast boat & we thoroughly enjoyed the day. The 1st 1 hr stop had a few cafes/stalls & quite a good snorkelling/swimming opportunity from a nice, sandy beach. The water was a little chilly in mid/late October but ok without a wetsuit. Lunch was immediately afterwards & consisted of a lovely chicken/onion/pepper kebab, salad & pita & no plastic in sight! The 2nd stop was deep swimming/snorkelling only & some opted to dive from the upper deck, but a ladder was also available. The 3rd stop was an island where you can purchase sponges & see some rather large unusual examples. The 4th stop was deep swimming/snorkelling only again. The cocktails were nice, especially the alcoholic slushie! As it was end of season the boat was only half full, but there was still a party atmosphere & also good for kids, especially if they're confident swimmers.Written October 31, 2024
- rachaelmike0 contributionsCaptain Morgan boat ..fabulous experience a must do !!Amazing family day .. staff are lovely and very family friendly .. we took a 1 year old and a pram and everyone was extremely helpful.. we even got to see some dolphins and the swimming in the blue lagoon was fabulous .. would highly recommend Captain Morgan boat to anyone visiting Kos.. - louisey630 contributionsIsland hopping funThe whole trip was amazing, the crew were friendly and fun. The islands we went to were amazing and worth visiting. The boat was clean the food was great and the bar was good value definitely a trip not to be missed. Thank you for a fun dayWritten October 30, 2024
- Thrilluminartist0 contributionsHighly recommended day out! What an amazing day! All 5 star reviews lived up to their expectations and more. The staff were amazing and the relaxed vibe on board made it feel very welcoming. We got a free unexpected ice coffee because we booked online which was really appreciated. The cocktails were great and the free lunch was ok. The meat kebabs a little tough for my liking (I am a chef, so fussier than most) but it was appreciated nonetheless. We didn’t see any dolphins unfortunately, but there’s always next time, we will definitely do again next time we are in Kos.Written October 29, 2024
- 292emzb0 contributionsAmazingAmazing trip, so worth just £40 for us both. The staff are so friendly and care about making it a good time. Would definitely do it again.Written October 26, 2024
- V9481IUjuliak0 contributionsGoodThe people where great and super nice. They provided fun, entertainment and beautiful stops. besides the beautiful stops we saw some dolphins.Written October 26, 2024
- superbigmann0 contributionsGood VFM day out.The staff were welcoming & inclusive. The views were beautiful & the small bays (for stops) were lovely, with plenty to eat/drink. There were 2 stops for swimming/snorkeling and diving for the adrenaline junkies. The water was crystal clear. Just what you want on such a trip. There was a decent bbq meal after the 1st stop and plenty of on board refreshments (payable), but the cocktails were reduced in price as you returned to Kos. There were also dolphin sightings which just enhanced the pleasure of the trip. Ideal trip for families, small groups & indeed for anyone. Overall, a very good day out.Written October 26, 2024
- IoannaArgiriadou0 contributionsAmazing experienceLovely boat trip, excellently organized. The stuff was so friendly. Amazing places to visit, with breathtaking views. Nice people all around the islands, so make sure you do something good for them, like buying at least a souvenir.Written October 25, 2024
- Amy M0 contributionsYou pay for what you getIt’s okay Not what we was told it was like Told you get bean bags No sunbeds at all It’s table and chairs Very windy so bring a jumper Music is old pop No dancing We saw dolphins which made it better The islands you stop off at are nice to look around and get a few things Coke cans ( 300ml ) are around 3 euros each Cocktails go to 4 euros each in the last hour Around 7 euros to start with We paid 20 euros Would I do it again no probably not done it once and I wouldn’t return The islands are lovely The sea is lovely but the boat could do with sunbeds and better music to make it a better experience Not a party boat as such more chill and swim boatWritten October 25, 2024

Worth every Euro.
Booked this trip around two days before going.
The crew were extremely friendly. Explained that we would be sailing for around 35 minutes and then we would stop at the 'Blue Lagoon' to spend some time swimming in the open water along the coast.
The journey over was a little choppy in places and dependent on where on the boat you were sitting you could get wet but as it was so hot it wasn't really an issue.
When we arrived at the 'Blue Lagoon' we were asked if we wanted to feed the fish. They threw some bread in the water and the fish were very quickly swimming over to take a bite.
There were no big fish so of you feel at all anxious about swimming there then don't, they were relatively small and could cause no harm.
We were then shown the ladder at the back of the boat which we would use to get in and out of the sea.
The water was absolutely beautiful. It was crystal clear and very cool which was fab.
We were given around 45 mins for swimming.
We headed back and because we'd booked the 5.45pm trip this meant we got to stop to see the sun setting and if you felt brave enough they would let you stand on the back of the boat by the ladder to have a photo taken.
Drinks are available on board and I think there were some snacks.
The whole experience was amazing and I can highly recommend this trip.

I would highly recommend this boat trip. We went as a group of 4 families totalling 14 people and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The crew were welcoming and friendly and made sure everyone got a turn at looking through the glass bottom at the shipwreck. The waters at Pserimos are crystal clear and warm and we enjoyed our free time in the water. The trip is just the right length of time for young families in my opinion as the kids were not bored at all. We booked at the boat in the harbour the night before we traveled and were able to haggle a bit on price for the large group

Pre-booking
With quite a few boat trips on offer in Kos, we decided we wanted to do one during our family holiday. We chose the Dory boat as it was family friendly and ample time of 2 1/2 to be out in 33c. The staff were amazing - from start to finish. Before booking, we were shown around the boat to view the facilities and they advised us on how to book.
Booking
We booked through WhatApp which was a quick and easy process and payment was due on the day of the trip.
The Trip
We arrived at the boat early to get good seats with shade for our children. Setting off at 11am, the views of Kos Island are amazing. The crew took us to the shipwreck which was amazing and then we went on to Paradise Beach for a swim. There were snorkeling facilities on board so we were able to view the fish under water which was an amazing experience. Both of my children loved the water. On our return, the captain allowed both of our children to sit in the drivers seat and hold onto the wheel under his supervision.
Overall we really enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend it! Extremely good value for money! Big thank yous to the Dory Boat crew, we will be back to try on of the other cruises they offer when we next visit Kos.
Facilities
The boat had snacks and drinks on offer for reasonable prices. There were also decent toilet facilities on board.

This was such a fun boat trip. My whole family enjoyed themselves. We booked the sunset cruise and didn't regret it! The music was fun and upbeat, the crew were friendly and made us feel very welcome. They stopped in a perfect spot for both the confident and less confident swimmers to be able to enjoy a dip in the sea and of course we got to see some fish. We had 4 kids with us ranging from 18 months to 11 years and they all enjoyed themselves just as much as the adults. It was the perfect amount of time at for us. They even stopped to take sunset pictures of anyone who wanted it.

Recently went on the Dory glass bottomed ships. From start to finish its about 2.5 hours. Other boat trips on KOS are a lot longer and so the Dory trip was our choice. The boat leaves and stops over a Turkish cargo wreck which you can see from the glass bottom. Then a few minutes later anchors just off Pserimos beach for a swim. The water is so clear and warm it's impressive. They sell cold water and beer on the boat too for just €2 and €3. Like most people on KOS the boat staff are very friendly.

Booked this trip, spend a lot of money for a taxi which took an hour as we were staying in Kardamena.
Upon arrival, we met at the statue which is where we were told to meet, but no one was there! Already not happy, We took it upon ourselves to find the boat and walked around the marina. My partner ended up ringing the company and they helped us to find the boat. We then found a man trying to sell us a boat trip - turned out he was from the dory boat company and he told us the boat had already gone!!! He told us we were late!!! (We were on time), despite no one meeting us at the correct place. The person on the phone clearly didn’t want to tell us that! The man told us we had to come back for the 1:30 trip instead and to be back at 1pm to ensure we were on time. The man then decided to tell us that the man went early (despite originally trying to blame us for being late)!! We were upset and had a very angry and disappointed child who has limited understanding due to additional needs, So we got some lunch and did some shopping in kos town. We went back for 1pm and the man said “I don’t know how to tell you this”. Our hearts dropped. It was apparently too choppy and they had to stop the boats for the rest of the day as people were sick. (The sea was exactly the same, no change what’s so ever). He said your have to come back tomorrow! We said that we couldn’t, we’d travelled, spent a lot of money to get there etc so he gave us a number and told us to ring if we changed our minds!!! Furious wasn’t the word. No care or apology was given. Only to be told to apply for a refund via trip advisor! Our child yet again, screamed and tantrumed for the next 2 hours because he didn’t understand why we couldn’t get on the boat. A little while later, we saw the boat go out on another trip whilst sat in a bar opposite, so this was clearly a lie and they most likely sold too many tickets! Avoid them. Why book the trips for certain times if you aren’t going to stick to them!! Disappointed isn’t the word.

Fantastic views, stopped to see shipwreck beneath boat and then onto Blue Lagoon which was absolutely stunning. Jumped into the water, swam.with lots of fish. Excellent price for the trip. Very friendly, kept our daughter entertained. Snacks and drinks available, reasonably priced. It has been the highlight of our holiday so far, would highly recommend, in fact we already have!

Fantastic experience! Booked online for a family of 9 and found it easy and straight forward. The tour operators were very friendly and helpful. The boat was busy without being too packed. Everyone got a chance to see the shipwreck through the glass-bottom windows as they asked different parts of the boat to come down at different times to avoid overcrowding. Swimming in the Blue Lagoon was the absolute highlight of the trip. A stunning spot with crystal clear water and soft white sand surrounded by rugged cliffs. The boat had goggles, snorkels and pool noodles available for anyone who wanted to use them, which was a great idea. We all got lollies on the boat on the way back too, which was a lovely gesture. The only way I would improve this experience would be to have longer at the lagoon and more info from the guides about what you pass on the way but that is being extremely nit-picky!

Fab tour, had good equipment for use when we swam at the lagoon, included in the price so didn't need to bring our own.
The boat captain was great let the kids hold the steering wheel.
Perfect tour time when you have little ones with little patients
