About the operator
- I5795DDbenk00Great ServicePaul and the team were efficient and friendly. Not only was the ride from the airport to our hotel seamless, Paul was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating for our wine road tour.
- abb3ym00Winery And Historical TourMy family and I enjoyed spending the day with Paul, touring various wineries in Santorini! Paul was extremely knowledgable was very friendly and kept us laughing. We never felt rushed, and the day was well balanced between educational facts and plenty of fun with the wine tastings!
- P1499OVshannonm00Above and beyond transportation experienceThis transportation crew made it seamless and easy to get around Santorini. They found us immediately among many people arriving on the boat dock. We had a roomy van where 8 people fit comfortably with air conditioning and water. Paul (Pavlos) was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable - providing us with the history of the island along the way from the port to our hotel. They also transported us to multiple wineries another day, again providing us with information about the Island. We had a little extra time so he had us stop in a village and gave us a tour. His English was very easy to understand and he was very personable. He even went above and beyond to book us dinner reservations for a beautiful sunset experience in Oia. He made it a very enjoyable and stress free experience !
- laulau300900Amazing day-tour with ErosWe were a group of 12 who did a full day-tour with Eros, our wonderful driver who also shared so much interesting informations about Santorini! I highly recommend him. Thank you for everything!
- Z6928XKashleyb00Enjoy Santorini in a DayThe best way to avoid FOMO on Santorini. Our tour packed in the islands highlights and it was wonderful to enjoy the scenery as our guide, Patrick, shared interesting facts about the island as we went from place to place. We especially enjoyed the truly educational experience of our guided tour at the Akrotiri archaeological site, led by archaeologist Amadeus who passionately informed us of the secrets of the island's ancient past. Special thanks to our driver Vangelis who got us around safely.
- 545chelseap00An extremely thorough day tour of the island, you will walk away having learnt so much! This tour was a massive surprise for me. I have walked away feeling like I have learnt so much about Santorini, the people, the culture, Akrotiri and it’s history and current complications, and got to enjoy a wine tasting on top of that! Lunch (extra expense) on the black pebble beach was lovely and relaxing, and free time for sunset at Oia was great. Thank you to Patrick, the guide who did an amazing job, and has seriously taught me so much on the day.
- talf18400Very disorganized tourVery disorganized tour. Had to walk in the sun for 15 minutes to find the bus. Didn’t even get a bottle of water. The guide was super confused about giving us change back and then blamed us for giving us the wrong change. Coming back was even worse . Nobody knew what bus was taking us back to our hotel. Not recommended.
- xolildevil13ox00WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!Worst service and customer service I have ever encountered. Booked transfer from Santorini port to our hotel in Oia a few weeks in advance. It was $40, after a long day of traveling was looking forward to seeing our transfer after finally, getting off the ferry. Unfortunately, no one was there. Called to see if maybe they were running late and was repeatedly hung up on. 45 minutes later had to pay another $40 to finally take a cab to our hotel. No idea how this company has any positive reviews when they don’t even have the decency to answer a question when called. BUYER BEWARE, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BOOK WITH A BETTER AND MORE RELIABLE COMPANY.
- rogerse86300Anticipate Travel Time, but Good Tour for priceHere was our timeline: picked up at our hotel at 11:00, bus got to main pickup location at 11:30, after picking up more people we got to Akrotiri at 12:15, and stayed until 1:30. We then got back to our hotel in a reasonable amount of time after that. I’d say the travel time, especially there, was longer than we anticipated. The bus guide was very nice but it did seem like she was handling a lot of people’s different pickup and drop offs, which was the main drag on the tour progress. Our guide at Akrotiri, Penny, was great and we had a good amount of time to explore afterward.
- Kristi G00Rip offI was told where to go to be picked up for this tour. I waited over an hour and no one showed up. When I called the company, they said that the driver stopped at my location, but I wasn’t there, which is FALSE. He came back to pick me up and at this point I had waited an hour and 15 minutes. I did get to go to the excavation site, however, my tour ended up only lasting 50 minutes. This was a rip off. I did not get my moneys worth at all.
- dn15200You are the best!Thank you for the lovely moments you offered us! Amazing people, friendly personnel and they gave us useful information during our vacation!
- Roving6118313097100Crowded and Buss with no ACWe went on the volcanic islands tour with sunset in Oia, the boat was very crowded and on top of that, when we took the buss to go and see the sunset in Oia they took us there with a buss that had no AC.
- RusD4800A genius problem solverWe recently took a bday tour to the Calder, volcano and sunset in Oia. We booked the tour through Chase/Expedia. The tour company, Greek Holidays and their representative Lillian Knorr did an exemplary job of problem solving several problems we encountered at the start of the tour her customer service skills and creative problem solving were outstanding. Do not hesitate to use her and her company for tours in Santorini.
- kaundinyag00An Unexpected Bonanzawhole-day sightseeing tour of Santorini at no extra cost. I jumped at the offer and had a wonderful experience. Katie took us through all the beautiful sights of the island providing us interesting insights into the history and culture of the island along the way in addition to teaching us the best way to enjoy the sights. She patiently answered all our questions cheerfully with her encyclopedic knowledge of Santorini. Thanks Katie ! You are the best!
- 35alexistz00Katie is amazingMy mom, brother, and I completed this tour yesterday and we loved it so much that I had to come on here and share. Katie, our guide, was very knowledgeable and warm. She was patient and answered every question we had. Her passion and love for Greece and it’s history shines through her immense amount of knowledge and warm smile. There was the basic itinerary, yes, but the whole day of activities was so much more. She was attentive to our likes and dislikes and was flexible in allowing us to spend more time at one location and less time at another. At the end of the day, I truly felt as though I had made a great friend and was sad to say goodbye to Katie. σας ευχαριστώ!!

I'm sorry to say that this tour was just not good.
When we boarded the bus, it became clear that my wife and I were with a group of 20+ travelers who were under the impression that they had booked a private tour. There was of course nothing the tour guide could do to correct this misunderstanding. The group's representative pointed out that they preferred a private tour because they might be loud and disruptive on a shared tour. This was the only example of self-awareness demonstrated by this group throughout the entire day.
Throughout the 9 hours of this tour, the group was disruptive, disrespectful, and generally behaved like children. At every stop, the group refused to follow directions or to respect the schedule of the tour. We would be asked to return to the meeting point at a certain time and nobody would come back -- members of the group would literally wait until it was time to leave and then go into a store or get in line to buy a milkshake or generally to do whatever they felt like doing.
The tour guide was clearly flustered and completely lacked the ability or willingness to control the group and maintain the schedule, resulting in several tour stops needing to be shortened or cancelled entirely. The restaurant she suggested for lunch was probably the worst food we ate in Greece. When we got to Oia for the sunset, her advice for where to watch the sunset wasn't at all helpful. Most of the stops were primarily opportunities to get off the bus and walk around by yourself, making the value of the tour itself a glorified bus service.
I'll admit that I'm unsure how fair it is for me to criticize this experience when the operator can't necessarily control who's signing up or how they would behave. Still, we paid our money and found this to be a painful waste of a day, and we certainly can't recommend the tour to others.

We're sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with us. In our tours we give the opportunity to all the visitors of the island to see the picturesque villages up close, to try our exceptional delicacies and to learn our history!
The tour you choose is not private, it is organized. We state this in the description. As you understand we cannot know in advance the people who will participate, their character and their ages.
During the tour there are various stops in the villages we go, so that our guests can learn things about their history and take photos.
As far as the restaurant is concerned, the escort simply recommend the restaurant that we as a business trust for its cleanliness, the quality of the ingredients and the affordable prices. It is the guest's choice whether he wants to sit down there or not, to eat or take a swim in the sea at that time.
At the end in Oia, the escort again suggests where to go and then the guest does as he wishes. They may dine at a restaurant by the sunset or sit down for a coffee or take a walk or just enjoy the view. As you realize we are in high season and the island has a lot of people who want to watch the sunset.
We are very sorry that we did not meet your needs. We will take your comments seriously so that our services can be improved. We hope you find out for yourself when you get the chance to come back to our island. We look forward to seeing you again and we always remain at your disposal.

Too much time was spent on the bus or walking to get places. Once we arrived in those places, we only had a few moments there before we had to leave.
We were picked up at 10:30 by a smaller bus. We were brought to a bigger bus and has to wait til 11:30 to actually get started on the tour.
We drove up winding roads to the top of a hill to have an island view for 10 minutes.
We had to walk 20 minutes to the red beach and 20 minutes back. Time spent looking at red beach was less than 5 minutes.
We walked through the traditional village of Megalochori. It was beautiful there. I wish we had more time to enjoy it.
Lunch was 2 hours long. My husband and I ate and walked around a bit then spent half an hour on a bench waiting for our time to get back to the bus. The one place we actually had time was the least exciting place. I wish we could have had less time at lunch and more time elsewhere.
We were dropped off in Oia before sunset and told to come back to the bus once the sun was set. We had about 90 minutes. I loved seeing Oia and enjoyed the sunset. The timing here was right because it gets crowded and you need time to find a good spot.
If I could go back in time, I'd get the public bus or even a cab to Megalochori and spend time there then go to Oia for sunset, skip the rest of the 10 hours spent driving around and barely seeing anything.

On June 16, 2023 we did the classic highlight tours with Notos Travel which also included the sunset in Oia.
We would highly recommend this tour as it hits many of the highlights on the island. Our guide Maria, has a passion for Santorini that started as a child. Her in-depth knowledge was shared in a way that was interesting and informative without being over clinical.
George, our driver, handled those roads expertly!
Again, we really enjoyed our day and would absolutely recommend this tour.

Without a doubt, Santorini is a great place to visit and when you want to visit most of the places in one day, I would recommend this tour company. It was a well planned & inexpensive trip. All the places shown were worth visiting. Last but not the least, our tour guide Ms. Anna made this trip interesting and explained about the places with enthusiasm.

One of the best day tour experiences we’ve had largely due to our tour guide, Dmitra. She was informative, friendly and interactive as she kept the group on track! We appreciate that she essentially gave up her free time by recommending and joining a few of us at an excellent lunch stop. The group was a great size of about 15. The tour was well paced and balanced. Our driver, George, was very skilled driving on the narrow, winding roads of the island. Thanks for a very enjoyable day!

Gets you to all of the main areas on the island. Good if you are short on time or want an overview to decide where you want to go back to. Most stops are short for photos and require a bit of walking. Our guide Nikos was very good about taking photos for people. In hot weather the cool bus is a relief between places. Take swimwear if you want to swim at the beach in Perissa there was a 2hour stop for lunch, swim, shopping but it is quite a compact place

If you want to see all the villages and on a time crunch. This is for you. I was worried when I was out on a 50 person bus that it was going to be crazy crowds, but we only had around 20 ppl. Not sure if they limited that, but be sure to ask if you don’t want to be overwhelmed by large crowd.

The day of the excursion was the most beautiful of the entire vacation in Santorini. Maria, our guide, not only drove us around to see the tourist sights (by the way, George, the driver, is a very nice person and we felt safe with him), but also took us with great enthusiasm in the most emotional journey into the island's struggling geological, historical, cultural past. Maria showed us the island from multiple perspectives, including the perspective of the simple people, who love the island and want to preserve the impressive past and pass it on to future generations.
At the end of the trip we saw the most beautiful sunset and, as Maria promised, we fell asleep smiling and dreamed in the most beautiful colors

I visited Santorini in the middle of winter, and there were no crowds at all. This is the best tour if you have limited time and want to see all the best spots. Giannis my tour guide is the absolute best! He knew all about the history and culture of the Greeks and of the island, very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. As I was the only one who booked the tour that day, he also became my personal photographer. 😂 Thank you Giannis and Notos Travel!

The tour itself was good and our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
The problem was after the last stop where we watched the sunset. It was absolute chaos in the meeting point and our bus driver refused to take us back to our hotels. Our tour guide and driver argued and then we got on another coach which was already full and some people had to stand up in the aisle which wasn’t safe.

Dear guest,
We appreciate your feedback regarding your recent tour.
The purpose of the trip is to get to know the magic of the villages, the culture and the history of the island.
We show a lot of importance in detail and we are really sorry such a mistake was made on our part at the end of your tour.
We will investigate what went wrong and we hope to serve you better next time you visit the island.

Hello, I’m interested in the Highlights tour for July 11th. The reviews as well as the itinerary look terrific. My question is: being an English speaker, is this tour English only? I’ve been on tours that are conducted in other languages and it is not enjoyable when half the tour is in another language (I imagine non-English speakers must get similarly bored).
Also, I’m arriving by the 8 am catamaran from Heraklion that morning, which I think takes two hours, and I assume I’ll have enough time to make the 11:30 departure? I may come directly to the departure point from the ferry terminal with my small suitcase, if that is ok? My hotel is in Fira and I’m not sure where the departure point is.
Thanks,
Bryant Johnson

All of them must be in English I think. They have a fixed departure point in the center of Fira. It is best you call them or email them an ask these questions.
I am planning a cruise with a stop in Santorini. Does this tour pick up and end near the cruise drop off location? What is the time schedule ?
