Where do I start! Themistoklis was our guide and my word he did NOT disappoint! He is.....Hands down.... the BEST Greek/American tour guide in ALL OF SANTORINI! Our trip would of been nothing without his gracious heart and his gracious spirit! His knowledge runs deep into the history of the island and shows you only things locals will understand. Not just the postcard stops! Forget the standard tour! He takes you to the top of the mountains! The monestary! The black beach! The red beach! Wherever/whatever your heart desires he fulfils those dreams 10x fold! On top of an unbeaten personality that will vibe with everyone in your group! Great day, covering many of our items of interest. Muriel was professional, knowledgeable, and kept a good pace. We felt a little rushed toward the end, but there was a lot of ground to cover. Our lunch experience was unique...great food in open air on the beach.

My wife and I had the opportunity to go on the six-hour private best of Santorini experience. Themis (Themistoklis) was our guide, and he did an excellent job. He picked us up from our resort without issue and deftly navigated the island's many twists, turns, and elevation changes. His vast knowledge of the island's history and different cities was impressive. It was very helpful that he was assertive in moving us in and out of crowded tourist areas on the island without sacrificing opportunities for us to experience the breathtaking views. The private tour is a huge benefit because of the flexibility and efficiency of experiencing as many sights as possible. Themis is very comfortable with Westerners, and it felt like you were on a behind-the-scenes tour versus a stuffy academic tour. On our tour, we visited the following destinations (please note: based upon tourist activity, traffic, and length of stay at each destination, you may not make every destination in the tour). If your desire is to make every destination on the tour I'd recommend that you let Themis know. On the flip side, my wife and I chose to stay a bit longer at Perissa Beach. Themis was very accommodating to our requests and was very easygoing. The below destinations are not in order of arrival. Oia - We spent a good chunk of time in Oia, walking the crowded streets and taking in amazing views of the Santorini coastline. This portion of the tour required the most walking. I'd recommend comfortable walking shoes and comfortable light-colored clothing. Please also be aware that there are a decent amount of stairs in Oia, so be careful; especially when around other tourists. Themis took us to see the outside of the private churches in Oia, and we were able to enter one of the public Greek Orthodox churches in the area also. Imerovigli - We stayed at a resort in Santorini located in Imerovigli. However, with Themis' expertise we saw some additional areas that we were not aware of. After our tour, we used some of Themis' suggestions for watching the sunset from a location outside of our resort. From the Andromeda Villas my wife and I walked on the Fira to Oia Walk (cobblestone hiking trail) to Afropsaro, a Mediterranean Greek seafood restaurant. The sunset, food, and DJ that evening were unforgettable. Perissa Beach - Themis informed us that we would visit two beaches (the Red Beach in Akrotiri and the Black Beach in Perissa). With the time remaining in the tour my wife and I chose to visit Perissa Beach; what a treat. Black sand beach. Blue skies. Warm blue water. It was a great way to reinvigorate our bodies by having a quick swim and then going back to the beach to partake in some adult beverages. We had lunch at DoDo's seafood restaurant and beach pool bar. The restaurant allows you to rent beach chairs and towels as long as you buy drinks. Pyrgos - We experienced Pyrgos both in the car as well as on foot. It's mind-blowing that grapes are grown so close to the ground; these can be seen all over Santorini and serve the wineries. We were able to see inhabitants who built their homes on the sides of cliffs in Santorini due to the limestone and porous volcanic rock. Monastery of Profitis Ilias - The monastery is at the highest point on Santorini, and the view is astonishing. We could see all the way down to the airport and back towards Oia. The monks produce olive oil, honey, and a variety of other items. Thanks again Themis, we had a great time!

Themis was a great guide for us. He was knowledgeable about area activities and providing advice. We appreciated his assertive nature during the walking part of the tour because it ensured we were able to see all the best sites without being bombarded in the cruise ship crowds. The private tour was a wise investment since it allowed us to make decisions about where we wanted to go and how long we wanted to stay.

We had an amazing time on this tour. Our first time in Santorini, we had a general idea what we wanted to see and do, but had no idea how much we didn't know! Santorini Tours was extremely accommodating. Because we were very late leaving the Norwegian Getaway, we risked missing our start time. We were about 90 minutes late yet the company waited and waited, and arranged a second driver, van, and guide for us. The suggestion to ride the donkeys to the top was really great and memorable! Guide Kostas was knowledgeable, flexible, entertaining, friendly, and very understanding. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this company and that guide. This is a "no brainer" and the easiest decision of decisions.

We did a 6 hour private tour and two airport transfers with Themistoklis (Themis) Kalivas in Santorini. He is a Greek American tour guide that speaks both languages. The tour was fantastic and Themis did an phenomenal job as our personal guide. Themis worked with us and gave us great options for us to chose from for our tour. We were able to plan an excellent personalized tour with his assistance. We visited Oia, Fira, Megalchori, Imerovigli, Firastefani, Santo Winery, and Pyrgos. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the sites and he took care of every detail for us which was great. Themis also shared detailed information and historical facts about the different areas which made it educational, too. He was very knowledgable, helpful, fun, considerate, and friendly. Themis the greek American was good guide . Added alot of local color you would not get anywhere else. he is a "pink" skinned Greek, who knows alot of history. I recommend him.

The views were absolutely amazing. Our guide Themistoklis was fantastic. Probably one of the best tour guides we have ever had. He was funny and taught us a lot. We covered almost the full island in 6 hours.

We did a tour with Themistoklis (Themis) the Greek American. It was a great tour , the bus was spacious, comfortable and best of all had fabulous air con! Themis was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable about the island and got us to all the right places avoiding crowds as best as possible. We got to see the island from north to South with a lunch stop and swim on the beach. There was no way we could have done it without him. I would highly recommend
