About the operator
- 507katerinar00Not the best choiceToo rushed.... No time for viewing and enjoying each stop.. Guide was unprofessional. Needs for upgrade.
- terrimY6710ZF00Good tourIt was a good trip, guide and driver were amazing. Not impressed with the Oia visit, too crowded and the sunset was better at our hotel in Santorini. Loved the churches.
- Antonio B00Definitely recommendTour was great and our guide was a lot of fun. Learned a lot on the trip and got to hit all of the major areas of the island in one go.
- 122khana00Overall the bus tour was good. The guide was knowledgeableThe sunset place was too crowded. They could include few more stops. The sunset break was too long
- colleencO7640XJ00Exceptional HotelsExcellent across all categories!! The service and amenities were exceptional. I highly recommend these hotels.
- Trek78400700Great tour of Santorini. Fani was a great tour guide and was quite knowledgeable about Santorini and the wine industryThe tour was well thought out and Fani did a great job of explaining Santorini. She also was quite knowledgeable of its wine history. Good tour
- Madeline M00Santorini TourKim, our guide was knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information and fun facts. However, more time could be spent exploring the excavation sight in Akarini and far less at the beach where we had lunch. After the wine tasting she left us with a bus driver who had limited English on our way to Oia. We did not know the town, the crowd was ridiculous to see a hyped, but rather ordinary sunset, especially if you’ve seen a Canadian prairie sunset. The day was long and definitely could be rejigged to make it more worthwhile.
- Stuart_Abbott00Great tour but……….…we could have skipped the sunset part of the tour. The area is overcrowded and the shops that are located with the best view charge and arm and a leg for a seat at a table. One place wanted 60 euros per person for a seat. Crazy. Wine tasting was great, seaside area for lunch on the black sand beach was great, Rena-the tour guide- was great. Lots of local info. Tour of the ruins was fantastic. A real archaeologist leading that tour lent so much more to the experience. Walking tour through the town was an experience as well. Money well spent. Bear in mind you have to pay for your lunch and the archaeology site but again, worth it.
- CBJ-CTC00Great Tour around the full Island of Santorini. by a luxury Mercedes Bus with Ollie and an INCREDIBLE GREAT DRIVERWe hit every KEY spot around the island, plus wine tastings and high points in elevation and Permissa Beach (Aquarius is an amazing seafood restaurant). This is MUST-DO trip with NST Tours (They are the BEST). Don’t think twice… Just book with them and not the others!
- samuelrO4251TY00Great tour, terrible bus serviceOur tour was fantastic, Ollie was a phenomenal guide. She was informative and entertaining. However, our bus driver was absolutely awful, which is the only reason I cannot give the tour a 5/5. I cant remember his name, but after the sunset we were told to check which bus to get back on for drop-off. We asked him 3 times if it was the correct bus to get on and he told us to get on. There were other passengers in the same situation as well. Once we were 40 minutes past our drop-off location, he started screaming at a girl telling her to get off when it wasn't her stop and began getting an attitude with the passengers. He told us he wasn't going back to our drop off locations. We ended up getting off 40 minutes away and having to catch an uber back to our villa.
- Giblet6400Worth doingGreat way of seeing the island. Winery wasn’t the best but probably because we did an amazing winery tour a few days before. Had also been to Oia already so skipped the masses of crowds and went to a lovely restaurant on the outskirts
- Trip11541400Informative, great variety and good valueGreat way to see the island if you have limited time. Very informative and a good variety of places included in the tour. Yannis our tour guide was very knowledgable. Learnt a lot, saw a lot and would definitely recommend.
- V7233CXsandraz00BreathtakingSuch beautiful sceneries. Great experience. Busy place and need to be able to walk. Totally worth the time. Spectacular in every regard! The views, blue water & endless blue sky, quaintness & history.
- Julie C00Great tour because our guide was fantastic!A car picked us up at our hotel and transferred us to their main office to board the main bus. They were on time and exactly where they told us to wait. Our guide Olly was fantastic! She explained things very well and had a great sense of humor, which made our tour that much more enjoyable. Nikos our driver was also great and made us feel safe. Overall, would recommend this tour. Olly, we didn’t get to say bye before you got off the bus, but thank you! My 86 year old godfather and I had a wonderful day.
- Kathryn O00Goes by fast! When I heard the tour was 10 hours long I thought how can it take that long. It went by fast! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and specific. We had a great time. He gave good recommendations for food and safety precautions. I would recommend this your. Great value

The tour itself was alright. We got to see the volcano, Thirassia and hot springs. The tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and made me jealous with how many languages he could speak almost fluently. The volcano and Tharissia are well worth visiting if you have enough time.
HOWEVER, it was just not well organised by the tour company and some things were not clear before we left.
We had to pay extra to enter the volcano (2.50€ each) which was not mentioned before.
There was a LOT of confusion with busses at the end and if you start in OÃa the day is a lot longer than it needs to be as you set sail from the south (other end) of the island so you are picked up nearly 2 hours before the tour starts to pick everyone else up on the way and on the way back it is the same problem. It just doesn’t need to take so much time out of a day of your holiday to visit these places as this tour does.

We booked a trip and were sent an instruction to be at a pick up point (marked by a pin on Google Maps) at 9:05am. We were waiting for a pick up from about 8:50am to 9:20am and nobody came.
We called the trip organizer and were told that the bus driver already passed that location. They only offered rebooking the trip to another day (didn’t work for us) or otherwise it is a no-show so we were not eligible for a refund. The lady on the phone was highly unpleasant and was unable to explain the reason why nobody picked us up or not even tried to call us to find each other.
We contacted Trip Advisor to resolve that issue on our behalf. A representative contacted the trip organizer and, we assume, the same lady simply accused us of lying saying other people managed to get on the transportation from that pick up point at 9:05am. The issue is we were there and there was no bus at that time.
Fortunately, Trip Advisor puts their customer first, unlike the trip organizer, and we got our refund, but we would still highly recommend booking this trip with your hotel (same price and program) or another organizer.
A huge disappointment.

Would have been a really good experience if we had a different tour guide.
He was so rude to us, we couldn’t hear him over the tannoy in the boat as very noisy so we didn’t know what time we had to be back to the boat from the volcano. We almost missed it and when I asked if he’d had gone without us he was very rude and said we should have been listening. He continued to mock us and patronise us for the rest of the trip, and wouldn’t let us back into the boat after being in the water to get our towels. Throughout the trip we were on tender hooks waiting for him to make comments at us.
The hot springs wasn’t warm at all and the guide said we would have 25 minutes - we had 10! Not long enough, everything was rushed.
Shame, as take him away it would have been more enjoyable.

The tour was brilliant - worth every penny! The Albatross boat was comfortable and the bar was cheap with good music in between stops. Our tour guide Spyros was so knowledgeable and multilingual and was able to provide great recommendations for restaurants. I would highly recommend this trip!

I was a bit skeptical about booking a group tour, but I was pleasantly surprised by how personal the experience felt. Spiros what is a great tour guide, and the stops we made were incredible. I highly recommend walking up to the top of Thirassia (third and final stop) to get an incredible view with lunch.

It was a good experience! The previous reviews that were posted were helpful. It was quite cool in temperature as it was early April. Nothing was open on top of Thirassia, but the climb offered beautiful scenery, so it was still worth ile personally. The sun came out in the afternoon so we had a beautiful boat ride home (wind still very cool but warm Sun). We opted out of staying with the mass to hear the information. Definitely would suggest this excursion if you are fit and can tolerate walking uphill.

Our tour guide Yanis was fantastic, very welcoming and spoke at least 3 different languages. The boat ride was beautiful and relaxing. We walked up the volcano guided by Yanis, the walk is quite steep in parts and rocky, it would be difficult in summer. The volcano itself is interesting but don't expect gushing red lava, just a bit of smoke. The views of Fira and the Caldera from the volcano are worth the trek. Next we stopped at the hot springs. There is about 50m swim from the boat to get to the inlet which is warm. The sea water was cool, but we went in October. Don't expect hot hot this time of year but it wasn't unpleasant. We had about 20 mins here then headed to Thraissia for lunch. There are many restaurants and gyros places along the shore. We ate at Captain Johns which was good (but nothing special). If I came again, I'd try a gyros at one of the takeaway places for a quick feed and then walk up to the village. We had a relaxing lunch and lost track of time so missed out on the walk all the way to the village. But views partway up the path were very beautiful.
We left Thraissia about 3pm and cruised along the coast passed Oia, Imerovigli, Firastefani and then to the new Port of Fira. Yanis provided explanations of the sites as we passed. Returning to the Port, the buses were there to return us to our drop off points. This was very helpful and meant we didn't have to navigate the public buses to get to and from our tour. The bus situation was a little disorganised, as there were multiple buses and no clear signage so the drivers were being bombarded with tourists asking which bus. This could be improved but otherwise an excellent day out, a great way to see and learn about Santorini islands. Would do again!

This tour is 100% MUST DO!!! Absolutely amazing from start to finish, and excellent value. We travelled on a lovely, rustic wooden double decker boat which was a fab experience in itself. Our boat (Hermes) had toilets on board and a bar selling cold drinks, water, beer and snacks. The experience of walking up the volcano at the geological park was incredible, and to see and touch the volcanic rock first hand was such an experience. Beautiful views too looking over to Santorini from the volcano. We stayed on the boat whilst others did the swim in the hot springs, but it was fun watching the people who did the swim- all of whom reported it was a great experience. We stopped for lunch on the beautiful island of Thirasia where there are several restaurants to choose from on the waters edge. You could walk up the steep cliff to the village at the top (approx 25 minutes each way), but we chose to stay relaxing by the water. Our guide (Spiros) was excellent - very knowledgeable and informative, and speaks about 100 languages!!! We learnt a lot on this trip. A fantastic experience that everyone should do. I would do this again and again!

The boat was great - a traditional wooden one. I didn’t go to the top of the volcano as I felt I didn’t have substantial enough footwear on. The swim to and in the hot water was great - I would have liked longer. Take your goggles! Tharissia, didn’t have time to to the top as I chose probably the worse restaurant on offer, food was disappointing and took an hour to arrive. Again, a short swim was great. The tour of the villages by boat was great and very informative, our guide, Anna was very knowledgeable. Would recommend the trip!

Do it! The guide will show you the best places. It is something extraordinary! Walk the volcano, taste local wine, which is growing from this volcano and has its special flavor. It's amazing, thanks to the cruise organizers! P. S.: remember your swimsuit to swim the hot springs. And FYI: the water in the hot springs can color a little bit the swimsuit into orange)) And put comfy closed shoes on while walking the volcano, cause small stones are getting into the shoes and make the walking harder. But man, the place is worth all the efforts!

I see that this tour begins at 10:00am. I also see the break down of how long at each spot. But what time does it actually end and return to the starting point?

la différence de prix entre les agences vient de la taille du bateau, et qulques différences infimes;
Hola cuánto tiempo dura la excursión?yo estoy en firostefani te buscan por el hotel?A que hora comienza y termina?

Does this pick up at the cruise port ? I understand its a tender but will we be dropped at an area lose to this trip or have to find a way across the island at start and finish? I got an email asking what hotel I was staying at. I replied cruise and have received nothing in return.

Hi, The pick up and drop off is at the old port (not the ferry port). It's right off the market, and you can take the cable car down. It depends on where you are stating if it will be close to you, we stayed in Firostefani and the port was a few mins walk from the hotel. I was slightly confused with your question, I hope this was helpful.
Hi. A few questions. I intend doing this trip on 25 June before getting on the 5:25pm ferry to Crete. Does your tour definitely return to Athinios port at 4pm? Also I'll be stuck with my large backpack. Can I take it on the boat and is there a safe dry place to stow it? I note Ancient Thira is included in the overall tour description. How? Its a mountain on land on the far side of Santorini itself? It's nowhere near the caldera. What's a contact in Fira that I can ring for an accurate description and pick up details for this tour. I see some commentators note they didn't get any pick up call/instructions.
