Captain Yannis and his crew are fantastic! He goes above and beyond to make this experience exceptional! He is gracious, funny a fantastic cook and a very experienced yachtsman! I would highly recommend his service. We were very lucky that he decided to sail an extra day (we were at the end of the season) but he accommodated us ( and even added chicken to his seafood menu for my daughter). We were so blessed to able to do this cruise and it turned out to be a private cruise, just 3 of us and the Captain and his crew Antonio! You will not be sorry if you book with him!

Great experience seeing the beaches and caldera! There are many options for sailing - this one was very chill (8 guests, minimal fuss about rules, relatively simple logistics). George and Antonio did a great job sailing, preparing lunch, and pouring drinks. The highlight was diving off the boat and swimming in the caldera. George was an extremely knowledgeable tour guide - a local just sharing stories and experiences. More time under sail would have been ideal (hence the 4 stars), but overall this was great.

This was our second tour with Barca Sailing (first time was our honeymoon in 2013) and once again, we were so satisfied with everything. This time we chose a full day private charter and that was amazing. Just cruising around the Island and in the Calderea, at the beaches for snorkeling and swimming and chilling on the sundeck with a cold beer or a glass of wine, enjoying great snacks and food served by the crew. Last time we cruised with Captain Yannis, but his crew did not disappoint us in any way. We even had Captain Yannis join us for the sundown and tour back to the port. We will come back for another tour and we would recommend everyone to chose Barca Sailing for a more personal and fair priced deal. Al the way Captain Yannis and Lena are doing a great job.... And also you George... doing the transfer this time.

We were a party of three – mum and two daughters – who booked this semi-private experience, and it was the highlight of our trip to Santorini. On the boat there were nine people in total, plus Captain George and Maria Angela. They were both amazing and knowledgeable and they cooked up the most delicious meal on board that we all enjoyed so much. George's commentary on the passing scenery was entertaining and enjoyable and there were a couple of swim stops as well. There are swimming aids if you need them, I used them and really enjoyed my dip in the cold Aegean sea! The last part of the journey was a very relaxed and sleepy cruise back to Vlychada and to be dropped off back at the hotel. If you're in two minds if to do this cruise, I'd say DO IT DO IT DO IT, it's the best part of the whole trip.

We had an absolutely fantastic morning sailing with Yiannis and George. The boat is beautiful, the food was great and we really appreciated the great commentary and information provided along the way. We were celebrating a birthday and they went out of their way to make it extra special by providing a birthday cake and joining in on the celebration. It was the highlight of our trip to Santorini.

We had a fantastic time with Barca Sailing. Captain Yiannis and mate Jorgos were amazing hosts, playing music, pouring drinks and cooking us a fabulous lunch. They also told us lots about the island and even offered us a chance to sail the boat! The day started out with a transfer from our hotel in Perissa straight to Vlychada to start the cruise, which was included with the price we paid on Viator. There were only 7 guests in total on our boat, which meant a super friendly atmosphere and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We had a few breaks for swimming and managed to avoid a lot of the larger catamarans for the most part that we’re all departing and returning all at once. My husband and I did 2 Catamaran trips last year in Santorini, which thankfully were only half full due to Covid restrictions. This year, I noticed that all of the catamarans were packed! So I’m so happy that we picked Barca sailing as an alternative, to have a small friendly group, fantastic service and plenty of room on board, not to mention the amazing views from within the caldera and actually getting to switch off the engines and sail towards the volcano.

Great way to spend your last day in Santorini. The crew was great and the views were even better. Highly recommend.

Overall amazing experience. The crew was very nice organized clean very family-friendly. The tour provides you a complete view of the outer banks of the island very very beautiful. They truly exceeded all levels of customer service

We had a private charter for 7 (2 adults and 5 teenagers). We were highly spoilt - the scenery, the weather, the water, the meal on board and most of all our lovely warm crew (Gregory and George). They made us feel genuinely welcome with a lot of charm and humour. We couldn't recommend them enough. Please go.

We had a half day cruise in the morning on June 11th and its was excellent!! Super friendly staff, nice boat and there was only 4 people which was great. We heard some historical information on the island geology/ geography and visited some great spots for swimming. We had also a great lunch on board. It could hardly had been a better day! Definitely recommend Barca's sailing and captain Yiannis and hope to return for a sunset trip ;)

The landscape of Santorini is amazing but Yiannis who is the Captain just makes the trip unforgettable! 5h of pure joy, laughing tears and a delicious meal made this adventure to something very unique on the island! Hope to see you again and thank you very much!

What a wonderful way to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Santorini caldera! Unfortunately it was a still day yet it was so relaxing going with a small group. In May, though the air temp was perfect, the water was still cold. All eight of us took the plunge at both stops. It was my first time seeing rocks float; lava rocks that is. We'll take this tour again if we're fortunate enough to return to Santorini.

Wonderful morning cruise with Captain Yiannis and Zoe. Told Yiannis beforehand that my 11 year old daughter was nervous about sailing and he instantly took her under his wing, letting her steer the boat, feeding the fish with her and scaring off rival boats true pirate style, ahagh! Great snorkelling and a fabulous lunch accompanied by wine and beer. Only 5 of us on that cruise that morning which was lovely. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Wonderful finish to our holiday. Yiannis is a great host and a better sailor. Four of us had a fantastic time on our sunset cruise, which is just about fully customizable. There are bigger boats and more polished websites for cruises in the caldera, but you’ll have a great time with Barca.
