This place lived up to it's reputation,,,Oia, with it's famous blue domed vistas is breathtakingly beautiful. But...there is a great more to see on Santorini. Our fantastic tour guide, Agatha, brought us around other parts of the island, including the charming town of Megalochari, which apparently hasn't changed too much for centuries, yet looks like a lovely place to live. Agatha was full of interesting information and knew exactly what we would enjoy seeing, and even turned us on to some of the best wine we've ever had (only available on Santorini) at a nice restaurant in Oia, King Neptune. Santorini should be on everyone's bucket list.

Sabina did a great job navigating traffic while teaching the four ous many interesting facts about Santorini. We had several opportunities to stop for photos & to get a closer look around. She also allowed us to stop by a marketplace to pick up a few supplies. She took us to the highest point of the island all the way to the other end with the grand finale in Oia for the iconic views & photo ops. The van was spacious & even though it was a bit of a challenge to get into the back seat, I was able to stretch my leg out & relieve some of my pesky sciatic pain there. I would recommend this tour.

Santorini Experts are great! We were visiting Santorini on a cruise ship and Kathrin helped us decide on an itinerary for the day. Our guide Agatha was so entertaining and it seemed like everyone on the island knew her. She took us everywhere around the island: to the high point of the island, to Acrotiri, and to the beaches. She even explained the Greek way to enjoy ouzo (NOT the way Americans usually do). We felt like we had an long-time friend showing us around her island! Would definitely recommend Santori Experts if you want an expert guided tour.

Kathryn was warm, genuine, and extremely knowledgeable. A wonderful tour! Santorini is magical, and was more magical because she was showing it to us!

Fantastic views with extremely informative narration from our tour guide, who kept a pretty good pace. Though not stated, this tour requires good hiking shoes and moderate to high level of fitness.

Kathrin was truly the perfect guide…She made the group feel comfortable from start to finish and stopped in ideal locations for photos…The path was quite long (6.5 miles and a good portion is uphill) So, be ready to get your steps in💪🏼

Agatha was our guide and she was amazing. She was very kind and funny and had tremendous knowledge of the island both the history as well as sites to see nightlife, restaurants, and so much more. I really enjoyed the 6 mile hike. It was a great work out and most important, breathtaking and stunning views the entire time.

Agatha’s energy and smile were nice to see! Unfortunately Santorini was way too busy with 4 cruise ships in port that day! 1 hour line to go up cable car and 1.5 hrs to come down with no time in Fira at all (if you didn’t want to miss your boarding call)! Oia was the highlight of the visit to Santorini and a far second was the black sand beach.

We did the Santorini wine tour with Kathrin and she was fabulous! Not only did she take us to three great, and distinctively different, wineries, she shared her knowledge of wine making on the island as well as island history. A great way to spend an afternoon!

Tour guide picked us up at our hotel. My husband has walking issues so she tailored this trip to what he could handle. She took us all over the island, including high vantage point, the beach area, vineyards, and the town of Oia. My husband walked a little ways through the town then we had him sit on a bench and I walked the rest of the town with her. She was very friendly and informative. I would highly recommend using this company.

City was amazing, and we were in a small group with just a few other people. It was absolutely breathtaking, and our guide was incredible. Shore Excursions takes pride in the experience, and was much better than tours we took with the cruise line. We will definitely choose Shore Excursions again!

Best part of trip. Guide very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend this to anyone especially if you have mobility issues. Seen some wonderful sights all in the comfort of a air conditioned vehicle.

Kathrin, our guide, was so friendly, personable and incredibly knowledgeable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. From booking, pick up from our hotel, the lovely touch of the traditional Greek sesame Koulouri and water in a tote bag (to keep) to have as a snack on the hike to her never ending knowledge of all things Santorini made this guided walking tour worth while. The small group - 4 of us today - made the tour more personalised and you didn’t feel like you were being rushed or hurried along. Kathrin made sure everyone felt incredibly welcome and catered fantastically with the varying age range in our group of 13-50 years old. If you visit Santorini and want that personal touch then Santorini Experts cannot come highly recommended enough.

Karen our tour guide was great. She pointed all the important things on this 4 hr hike. What a wonderful experience. They pick you up right at your hotel and drop you off in fira town.
