The tour starts at the beautiful, sandy beach of Kalandos! After an equipment check and safety briefing by your certified guide, you’ll be ready to go! You’ll be paddling a distance of about 8 km. Along the way, the view from the neighboring Cycladic islands is breathtaking! We’ll make stops at tiny sea coves where we’ll stop to swim.
You will paddle among awesome geological formations along the coastline until you reach the most impressive of them all: Rhina Cave with its ceiling of miniature stalactites and its inviting beach nearby!
Rhina Cave’s pristine, secluded beach invites you to relax. We'll make a stop at the beach for about 30-40 min. Your guide will prepare for you delicious snacks. All you have to do is just sit back and enjoy, or swim, snorkel and explore the rich marine life of the area!
Then back to our kayaks to head back to the starting point at Kalandos Beach.

Pickup details- The starting time of the tour is set at 09.00 for guests who do not wish to use our pick-up service and choose to meet us at the starting point. For guests who choose the pick-up and drop–off add-on, the pick-up time will be sent to them the day before the tour - it will be at approximately 08.00 (depending on the location of your accommodations), and the tour will start at 09.00.

My husband and I did pretty well , but Nick made sure we got the experience we wanted while assisting the other hiker. His was positive and confident .. I think we all felt secure . Even when the path was more complex with rocks and the wind picked up , he knew the mountain so well, that he was able to lead us to another path to shield us a bit from the high winds . We highly recommend this tour and wish we had had time to experience Trekking Hellas' other tours. (Next time!) Nick picked us up promptly at our hotel, provided hiking poles, took photos of us along the way and provided a delicious picnic when we arrived back at the starting point. The whole time we were with him, he shared interesting facts about the Island and the mountain. We had a snack at the summit and he pulled out maps and shared both historical and mythical stories. All in all, it was a great day! We probably could have done the hike on our own, but it was so much more fun and interesting to hike with Nick. We recommend good hiking shoes as it does get pretty rocky at the top. Trekking Hellas is a quality tour company!Written September 17, 2024

Anastasia was a perfect guide and gave us so many details about Naxos and the food we were trying/preparing We had a walk around the residential area of chora to get to the local grocery store before popping in for some delicious cheese tasting Then we headed back to walk through the venetian castle and to the taverna where Miss Mimosa taught us how to prepare delicious greek dishes We sat down as a group and enjoyed the fruits of our labour with some wine and delicious breads and moussaka prepared by the chef We finished the day with a taste of Kitron, perfect! My husband and I really loved this kayaking experience! The evening before, we got a call from the coordinator saying the location of our tour changed to a calmer spot because of the wind in the south and the tour would be cheaper- we were happy with this change, as it was easier for us to drive to anyway!
Our guide Nick was extremely friendly, from the moment we said hello until we said bye. He showed us how to kayak comfortably, gave us interesting facts along the way, and provided us some local snacks, including Naxian cheese, olives, grapes, and more. He was the first one to jump into the water for the snorkeling and you could tell how in love with the beautiful sea water he was, and how passionate he was about the island. He made this experience very special. His helper David was also very kind and helped get us set up before and after the tour.
10/10 recommend! It is absolutely worth the money. We loved the custom 3hr tour and the pictures Nick took! Thank you :)

This was a spectacular and unique experience to commune with nature. Nick & David are experienced, kind, professional and authentic people, who are clearly passionate and grateful for the beauty around them. The views were breathtaking, our group was one of the few out that early, and we loved dipping into the little alcoves along the trek, which would be impossible in a boat. The water is indescribably clear, giving Aegean blue a new meaning for us.
I am not a great kayaker, nor am I the strongest swimmer, but they made me feel comfortable and safe every step of the way. 20/10 stars for this experience. My only caveat would be to keep in mind it is 5.5 miles round trip (but opportunities to rest along the way in both directions). Don't miss it!

My wife and I booked this excursion because we like Kayaking, but this was so much more than we expected.
We booked with a transfer. If you don't have any other means of getting there, I highly recommend it. The meeting point can be hard to find and tough to get to in the little rental cars. Nikos, one of the two guides, picked us up himself and drove us out to the Southeast corner of the island. On the way, he gave us a brief history of Naxos, discussed the culture, and would point out and give the history of several landmarks along the way. It was very nice to get to know each other.
When we got there, we met our other tour guide, David, and the two guides made sure everyone in the group was fully prepared to safely and comfortably make the voyage out to the cave, do some snorkeling, and make it back.
When we got back the taverna had a feast prepared for us. The food was an excellent way to finish off our kayaking. Afterwards, Nikos gave us a ride back to our hotel. Along the way he had recommendations for us on what to do with the rest of our time on Naxos and where to eat.
I cannot recommend this tour enough. We really enjoyed this experience.

We had an amazing kayak with Nick. Both he and David are very knowledgeable, works to your comfort level and made the whole experience very fun! We had to change our itinerary due to weather, but it didn't take away from the beauty of the area and the enjoyment of the water. The snorkeling and swimming really added to the whole experience. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful & fun kayak adventure with 2 outstanding and very attentive guides, the southern coast of Naxos is gorgeous but it is Nick and David that made this trip extra! We had a lot of fun with them. And the service by Anastasia who manages the reservation was outstanding as I had a few hiccups. To top the tour the lunch at what I think is the cutest taverna with whom they partner with was the best food we had while in Naxos, delicious. Can’t recommend this trip and this crew enough, I wish I had extra days to do other adventures with them! Just book it!

Many thanks to Nick and David for this sensational experience. Thanks to them, we discovered fabulous landscapes and perfected our kayaking skills. More than just an excursion, we really had a fun time that we'll never forget. They also took the time to share some local stories and myths with us, which was very interesting. Definitely a must-do if you're visiting Naxos !

Fabulous day under the guidance of Nick and David. A calm and transparent sea, magnificent caves and a sublime setting. Thank you to them for their subsequently recommended addresses which only enhanced our trip.

This was a wonderful kayaking tour along the coast of Naxos. Nic and David were very experienced and were able to instruct even a novice like myself. They began with an overview of kayaking, then supplied life vests, kayaking "skirts", water shoes (we already had our own). Once we were seated in the kayak, they made sure that the rudder foot pedals were at the proper distance for the second person (of the 2 person kayak). Once in the water, both helped guide us along the route, took pictures (which are later shared by email) and made a few stops. I think we traveled roughly 5 miles back and forth. It can be a little exhausting for the novice kayaker. Once we returned to the starting point, David took a couple out to do some snorkeling (I opted out of that). At the end, Nic and David shared some delicious snacks while entertaining us with some local lore. On the drive back, we also stopped to see a ruin of a large statue. Overall, this tour company is exceptional and I would highly recommend!

Amazing day with David and Nick !
Both of them are really pationnate about kayaking and making us discover the island ! They took many photos of us during the trip, and taught us about the history of the island. The lunch was also really good and hearty. I would recommand this experience for anyone wishing to spend time in the nature with these amazing guides.

Me and my partner booked the kayaking which I had never done before but Nick and David were amazing!! They gave great safety explanations before and guided us through the whole experience. The sights were incredible and the snack really was delicious, it was great having some traditional food and during that break, we were told lots of history surrounding the islands which was so interesting! The snorkelling was an amazing experience, we had plenty of time to explore the sea. I couldn’t recommend this experience more, I will definitely be booking more experiences when returning to Greece with Nick and David, 10/10!!

Good Afternoon, I am traveling in a group of 6. There will be 3 adults and 3 children. The children at 11,11, and 9. Would they be able to go on the tour as long as they are with an Adult?
