Brilliant fun in the sun great company they above and beyond for us very detailed descriptions, you can’t go wrong, plenty of roading, plenty of breaks for photos and coffee, also stop for dinner .

Good value for money, it was a great day our driver was very nice and took us to beautiful places the views are magnificent. Our driver made it very interesting with his knowledge. I would definitely recommend this trip 100% 👌

Dimitri was fantastic! He loves his country and is proud to share so many facts and share the fruit of the land. It’s a long day but truly a great way to see parts of the country you wouldn’t probably see otherwise. Highly recommend!

Super excited to go on this day trip to explore the hidden gems of Crete, but sadly didn't live up the expectations and description of itinery is not accurate. We were picked up in our hotel by a shabby mini bus lacking in seatbelts for the kids (thankfully just a small trip around the corner to the meeting point). Sadly our 'VIP' experience was shared with a German couple, which meant although we had a lovely big air-conditioned hummer, my husband and son were squashed into the back seats all day with limited leg room and aircon. In addition, the Guide had to then repeat everything in both English and German. Our guide was very knowledgeable but incredibly impatient, getting frustrated when the German couple took a while to greet the car service, and beeping his horn at the others on the journey that were self-driving. It was very unnerving how impatient he was every time someone was lagging or taking a while to park - felt like we were constantly rushing which wasn't relaxing. Because a few were taking a while to park at the lunch taverna, he even threw two families out their own cars and insisted on hurriedly parking their jeeps themselves. Unfortunately during our trip one of the self-drive jeeps broke down and due to staff shortages (explained by our guide), our guide and another had to drive back to the HQ to get a replacement car for the family. This meant we were delayed at a cafe for over 45 mins and lost about 25 mins of our tour time as a result (and it wasn't extended at the end either). We didn't stop at Prevalis beach as per the description, instead were told to walk to the viewpoint for photos but not to walk down as there was no time. Equally, I expected us to stop at the gorge waterfall (main point of booking the trip), but we didn't do this ether. We did take a longer stop off for lunch and the lamb chops included were delicious. Sadly the beach we were taken too was very windy and there was no shelter at all - so we weren't really able to enjoy the time as was too hot for the kids to be out of the shade for over an hour, and the wind was making the sharp sand whip against our skin (appreciate the windy weather can't be helped). We stopped at a lovely viewpoint of the district, which was amazing. Our guide also took the time to stop the car to pick and show us wild herbs and pears (he clearly had a passion for botany) . Overall though the trip was badly timed, affected by the broken car and then extremely rushed at the end. The promised stop at prevalis and the waterfall gorge was not included and that was my main reason for booking - so sadly I wouldn't recommend the trip. Too long in the car and rushed at stop offs.

Excellent day out exploring the island of Crete. Our guide Dimitris was very insightful and a great host. Our lunch spot was a lovely taverna with equally as good food. We thoroughly enjoyed the off roading aspect and would definitely take part again!

Really excellent day out, our guide was fun and entertaining as well as knowledgeable, he was attentive of our group. Loved the morning stop and the stop where we saw vultures flying across the gorge. Lunch was lovely plenty to eat and drink for everyone. Our last stop in the afternoon had us drinking from all the fountains gor eternal youth, not sure it us working though. A really enjoyable trip in an airconconditioned 4x4

Our tour guide Demetrios was awesome! We went for the luxury tour so we did not have to drive which I highly recommend. We were in a more comfortable vehicle and got to enjoy all the sights and get so much knowledge instead of driving ourselves. Demetrios took the time to show us all of the native herbs and spices that can be found on the island. We went to two different beaches and enjoyed our lunch at one of them. This trip was definitely the highlight of our vacation and probably one of the best guided tours I've ever been on!

It was an Amazon Safari with some wonderful Stops that we could make some very nice Fotos full of Adrenalin i tottaly recomend !!!

A fun and exciting way to explore part of the island ! The guide was knowledgeable and funny, so many photo opportunities as the scenery is stunning . We enjoyed seeing the goats, sheep & vultures and swimming in the ocean

The guide was amazing. We went as a German couple and the hole group was German. Everybody was very friendly. The guide speaks very well German and answered all our questions. Before we get started, he told us, who to reak if we have a problem and that's made me feel safer, because I knew, if I don't get the hill, he will get me up there. The views were amazing. We didn't see much from Crete before, but after we knew a lot about nice spots. Driving by myself was amazing. It just coud have be more Offroad than just the first 2h (about). It was a nice opportunity to see the south side and the hills between. We stayed on the north side.

Overall this was a fun tour but there were some things I wish we'd known in advance. The jeep has a manual transmission (stick shift) and wasn't so easy to drive. The rest of the tour group was German and did not speak English -- it would have been more enjoyable to be able to converse with fellow travelers. The guide was awesome -- friendly and very knowledgeable. The lunch was adequate but nothing special. We swam at a lovely beach but there were no changing rooms -- just a little bathroom. At the other beach we had to walk up many to the viewing point -- it was a warm day and the climb was hard for me.

We booked this as we did the same in Madeira last year. This wasn’t at the same level due to different terrain and climate but it was better on the eye. The amount of different vegetation that you see growing on the island within a small area is amazing. Our guide Dimitri was very knowledgeable and took us around in the jeep. We stopped at two different beaches either side of lunch (which was excellent). Highly recommended

We had a really interesting and fun day, interesting sights, fun observations from our guides, mountains and beaches. Wonderful to see this part of Crete, so different from the hotel life on the north side of the island. 💯 recommend.

One of the best trips we've been on. We opted for the deluxe due to the heat, but the self drive buggies looked equally good fun. Our guide, Demetrius was superb and a font of knowledge. The area is stunny and I have some superb photos and lasting memories. A quick 10 minute drive (hotel pick up) to their base, then a day out. Definitely worth a visit. We were a family of 6 including 2 grandparents aged over 70 and 2 young children aged 5 and 3. We had a fantastic day out in the 7 seat Hummer which was the guide vehicle for the 12 jeeps behind us. It was about 8 hours altogether but flew by. Our guide Dimitris was excellent and so knowledgeable and interesting. The stops were lovely and we got to see a lot of this beautiful island. Thanks to all the team for an excellent day.
