Our tour guide was friendly, considerate & an excellent source of knowledge and went a a nice pace uphill so no one was left behind or stressed …enjoyed learning so much more than if we had done it on our own…recommend an early morning or late afternoon tour to avoid intense heat of a day. Lively and breezy walk down. A big criticism however to the Acropolis management for not providing adequate toilet facilities for the volume of visitors they are allowing in all day…they were filthy and not near enough at the start of finish!!😕

Excellent tour. Well organized from the start. The staff at the ticketing agency were very friendly, organized and professional. Our guide, Ermis, was the best! So knowledgeable and full of interesting and fun historical facts. Very enjoyable tour indeed.

The Tour Guide was very good. She explains the history very well because she is a tour guide. But overall experienced it's just okay. Nothing new.. I've been many times in walking tour.

Although the tour guide was relatively new, he gave us so much information and kept a light hearted feel throughout plus free sweets - if you were smart enough!

Check in was a little congested, but our tour guide was outstanding. Wear cool, light colored clothes and comfortable, non-slip shoes.

Fantastic tour,extremely informative,lovely guide and very well narrated. We took advice from other reviews on here and went early (8am) to beat the crowds. The guide was extremely passionate about his subject but spoke a history lesson for nearly 40/45 minute's, at the start ,meanwhile hundreds of people filed past us and carried on up the acropolis to the pantheon,by the time we arrived it was like entering a football match, unbelievable crowds. We preceded with the tour around,it was very good but overcrowded, something needs to be done regarding filtering the crowd numbers. Overall the sights were fabulous but because of the above it was not worthy of £47 each

Incredible food tour and delicious food tasted! Dora was a fantastic tour guide and super knowledgeable in all areas. Great to see more of Athens.

Fantastic tour, the sights and scenery of the acropolis is incredible to see. The tour guide was amazing, and very knowledgeable.

The tour was extremely well-paced and I walked away feeling full but not stuffed. Learning about the neighborhood as we were eating was so interesting, and Dora was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Greece. By the end, it felt like we were all old friends! I had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour as an intro to Athens and as a way to taste the best of the best Greek food!

On 12 September, we joined the Acropolis monuments & Parthenon Walking Tour, a group led by Lydia. We followed that with a tour of the Acropolis Museum, also with Lydia. Both tours were excellent. The basis for this positive view is, of course, the monuments and artifacts themselves. But Lydia’s comprehensive knowledge of the history and culture of the sites was illuminating and added greatly to our enjoyment. Lydia herself is delightful.

The tour was great, the guide was excellent, spoke very good English. The only problem with this tour is they end the tour at the top of the Acropolis after the tour is over leaving you to find your way down. Not a big deal but the Acropolis is way overcrowded. It took a long time to wind your way up to the top, then getting down was very difficult due to the crowds. Long waits to get through narrow passage ways and the way down seemed harder to navigate then going up. Otherwise great tour. Learned a lot.

Interesting, fun , well paced. Very informative guide , definitely recommend. There were times for a short rests and conversation.

Very nice tour, great guide. Go on early tour to avoid heat of the day. Lots of steps and walking up butbthe guide stopped several times in the shade to talk, so it wasn't too bad. Wonderful views and history!

Totally worth it! The guided tour gives you so much information an d context to help you really appreciate what you are seeing. Our guide (Annie I think her name was?) was excellent - not just knowledgeable, but warm, friendly, and kind. As a solo traveller I felt very welcome and included. She engaged all the group members, had answers to all our questions, and we all felt very cared for, looked after, and in gook knowledgable hands! It was one of the best things I did in Athens.

Wonderfully paced, very informative. I came a way from it knowing more than just the history of the acropolis and the Parthenon. Amazing how much there is to see! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I felt so well taken care of!
