WOW….Amazing in so many ways. Our private guide Alexander was wonderful, picked us up right on time. Educated us so much about the this unbelievable city. His knowledge and passion is exciting. We had the best time! Would highly recommend Alexander. Best tour guide!

Socrates, our driver, was excellent! He provided so much helpful information. We also had great weather. Getting to the Acropolis early provided us with the ability to see and experience all of it without massive crowds (the cruise ships had not yet arrived.). The Agora and Temple of Hephaestus was wonderful. Lunch was ok - the service was great, the food just good but not great. The Acropolis Museum was a great experience. The antiquities were amazing, the presentation imaginative and the excavation site so interesting. The city tour was a wonderful (and comfortable) way to end the day. We highly recommend this tour!

Nasos is such a fun, energetic person with a deep love of Greece. Nasos was super informative and showed us the highlights of Athens. He even stayed longer than the time allowed and brought such a vibrant energy. Overall, 10 out of 10!

The tour was led by our driver, Socrates, who did a great job of retelling these two battles. Unfortunately, our tour was rained on all day; the tour company should have asked if we could reschedule. This tour was by far the most expensive we took in Greece and with few things to see was very overpriced.

The whole trip was incredible. Completely exceeded any imaginable expectations. Alexander was much more than our driver he became the perfect host. Always keen to maximise our Greek experience, exceptional knowledge, while prioritising safety and care the whole time - was AMAZING! Completely recommend to anyone visiting Athens and the Peloponnese.

An excellent day tour of Athens Our guide Elias was very knowledgeable with the history of the city and used that history to explain the background of what we were seeing. Communication of with the tour company including pick ups time etc. was all excellent. Sites visited included Acropolis, National Garden, Parliament Building (including changing of the guards), Ancient Agora, Temple of Zeus, Ancient Olympic Stadium, Lycabettus Hill, and the Acropolis Museum. We also did a drive-by of many other sites and communities across the city. Includes an excellent Greek lunch at a location off the beaten path. Two thinks to note about this tour: 1. Does not include entry fee's to major attractions so this is an extra cost. This WAS clear in the booking description. 2. Though very knowledgeable, your guide is not an authorized tour guide so he does not accompany you to the key sites including Acropolis, Agora, Temple of Zeus and Acropolis Museum so he describes your visit and gives you some pointers and you are on your own and he picks you up afterwards. This WAS NOT clear in the booking and was a surprise for us. It would have been nice to have the guide (like most other tours) at these sites.

Tas, our private tour driver was amazing ! We booked a private tour with driver only, no license tour guide. It was one of the best decisions as it was a hot day. Tas always had water for us and made sure we arrived at each spot with background knowledge prior before we were off to explore each sight! Definitely recommend this trip and suggest that you do a bit of reading before so you can really “live” the experience.

We are a group of five old(ish) women and have just spent the last six days enjoying the wonderful company and knowledge of Alexander at Olive Sea. He was so much more than a driver. Our first tour was the sunset tour to the Temple of Poseidon. Alexander welcomed us like we were already friends and we were treated with wonderful stories of humans, Gods, beasts and monsters on our way to Cape Saunio. The temple is beautiful at sunset. On the half day tour of Athens the next morning Alexander was joined by Giannis who proved an excellent guide to all the sites we visited. There was great conversation within our car as we travelled about the city. We then embarked on a four day tour of the Peloponnese. Alexander greeted us like old friends now and we so enjoyed his passionate telling of Greek mythology, insightful commentary and sense of humour as we ventured across the countryside. We covered a lot of ground from Corinth to Olympia, Sparta, Mystras, Mycenae, Napflio and Epidaurus before returning to Athens. All through the tour Alexander was truly professional, respectful and kind to us. He ensured the car was always close by for the required wheelchair (provided by Olive Sea) and, importantly, always knew where to get good coffee! Accomodation each night was extremely comfortable and centrally located. We are sincerely thankful to Alexander and the team at Olive Sea for making our stay in Greece so memorable. To use a phrase used often on our tour … it was amazing! 10 stars out of 5.

Excellent tour by Anthony G of all the main attractions of Athens We were a party of six and were picked up dockside after a delayed arrival in Piraeus. Anthony explained the history of Athens and described the historical sites we visited. Among those were the Acropolis, The Ancient Agora and the Temple of Zeus. We also saw a lot of the city, both neo classical and modern buildings, the marble amphitheatre where marathons finished and the changing of the guards in front of the Parliament building. We had a superb lunch before being delivered back to the ship for departure.

We booked a private day tour to Corinth, including an stop at the canal, a fortress, and a local Olive Oil Company. We were picked up promptly at our flat in a clean vehicle with a friendly welcoming smile. Alex was such a pleasure to spend the day with. We discussed Greek politics, economy, history, and language. He was engaging and happy to have genuine and honest conversation no matter what our questions. A wealth of knowledge and a kind demeanor. We will happily book with him again when we return to spend more time exploring the region. The cost is worth the experience and benefits to not have to wait for bus loads of strangers and traffic. It truly felt like we were just on the road hanging out with a local friend. We were even able to stop by a small local market on the way to pickup some regional fruit.

Dem picked us up in an immaculate car & drove us to ancient Korinth. The ride was wonderful and Dem was very informative about the history of Greece, Athens, and Korinth. In addition, he fielded all sorts of questions we had about general life in Greece & was an excellent sport. Highly recommend!

We did the 4 hours - Athens & Acropolis Highlights Private Tour. We only had a few days in Athens so this tour was great if your time is limited. Our driver Manos was friendly, polite, professional & very knowledgeable. He knows where to take you, the Acropolis, changing of the guards is a must to do just to name a few, Ask for Manos, highly recommend this tour.
