Fascinating experience cooking with Fotini and Christo A great time and very enjoyable to prepare and assist cooking the meal from start to finish Food had so much flavour and most importantly the company and conversation was top class We entered to strangers and left as friends Thanks to you both for what was a fabulous evening.

It was a unique experience to meet a charming local Greek cook. We had a delicious traditional dinner, which we helped prepare with Penelope. She was warm and kind and invited us into her wonderful apartment to cook. Although the market was closed she showed us where the stalls would be during the week to shop for fresh groceries and herbs. We had a great meal consisting of a Greek salad with fresh baked eggplant and lentils. The main course was meatballs and delicious fish, followed by fresh strawberries and a Greek liquor.

We had a Sunday midday cooking class experience with Angelina in her beautiful home. Her husband Soren provided transportation to and from our Athens hotel; he added local, historical commentary on both drives - interesting and insightful. Upon arrival, we were met with a beautiful spread of appetizers - the Dolmades were exquisite, best ever for me. We learned to make Tzatziki and baked feta phyllo packets to go with the appetizers. We put together a shrimp & tomato skillet dish and also a chicken orzo oven bake. Then we tackled deconstructed Baklava. All the food was beyond delicious, and we ate so much tasty food that we did not need to eat dinner that night! I can't wait to attempt each recipe in my own kitchen. This class was the highlight of our 2 week European trip through several countries. I have already recommended Angelina's class to several friends.

Cooking with Penelope is a highlight of our Athens vacation! She took us through the markets where the locals shop for all things fresh and then we returned to her lovely apartment and cooked an authentic Greek meal. The starter, taramosalata, we enjoyed on fresh bread followed by a warm zucchini salad with pine nuts, spearmint, and graviera cheese from Crete. The main course is called garides saganaki which is made with fresh prawns, garlic, tomato, white kalathaki cheese from Lemnos. Of course, we had some olives, too. Everything was beyond delicious. Penelope is full of cooking tips and wonderful stories. She’s a warm and welcoming host. We highly recommend this cooking experience!

We did our class with Angelina and it was amazing. Angelina's husband picked us up at our Athens hotel and took us to their beautiful home in Athens. Once we arrived Angelina welcomed us and immediately connected with my wife on cooking and they set out on their adventure. Angelina had a number of dishes planned and my wife had so much fun preparing the meals with her. And the food was all absolutely delicious. My wife and I would do this again in a heartbeat if we come to Athens again. It was so much fun.

Fotini and Christo were wonderful hosts. It was a blast for my mom and I to experience the interplay of a Greek couple/household/meal. We were active participants in the meal prep under Christo’s (very!) attentive guidance, and Fotini’s direction in English. Parsley, mint, garlic - Greek staples! The food was wonderful and we definitely did not go hungry! Thank you for opening your home, and sharing Greek history and Culture with us!

Everything about the experience with Fotini and Christos was sublime! The food, the knowledge, the company, the ambiance. We truly enjoyed the evening cooking and conversing with our new friends. We are especially grateful they took our food intolerances to heart and provided a meal everyone could enjoy. It was wonderful that all of the ingredients were local and supported small farmers. You could smell how fresh the herbs were while preparing the food. The conversation was fascinating, Fotini is well spoken, educated, classy, and well travelled. Christos is quite funny and his english is improving as he was able to make some commentary and participate in the cooking instruction as well.

We had a wonderful dinner with Fotini and Christo. We all helped to prepare our wonderful meal. The foods were from different areas of Greece and we learned something new with each dish. After preparing the meal we sat down to a leisurely dinner filled with wonderful conversations. Fotini was accommodating to some food issues we had. We took the tram and it was very convenient to get to their house. Highly recommend the evening.

We did a private cooking class at Katerina’s house and wow! We had an amazing time and learned a lot. She is so knowledgeable and an outstanding teacher. And an even better person! I wish everyone could spend time with Katerina when they visit Athens!

Great experience. Much better than what I expected. Cristina is a very nice person, very patient, and a great teacher. I can only recommend it! It was really worth it.

We spent a glorious 10 days in Greece and this cooking class in Katerina's home was the highlight of our entire trip. The food was delicious but what made it so special was our host. Katerina was warm and welcoming. We walked in as customers and out as friends. It was an experience that we will never forget.

I am a Greek Cypriot living in Sweden. I visit Greece quite often for business. Since I am a good cook and gourmet, this time I wanted to do something different. Fotini and Christo are the perfect cooking team. Fotini explains you everything, I have learnt things that I did not know, despite being Greek myself. After having finished cooking (I loved the way it was not a formal cooking class) we have sat on the nicely set dining table in Fotini and Christo's elegant apartment. The food was delicious. Carefully chosen fresh ingredients and meat, very good wine (Agiorgitiko variety), superb olive oil a personal selection of Fotini , very rich menu ( a five unique local dishes plus coffee ) makes the whole class and lunch unforgettable. Highly recommended and I will visit Fotini and Christo again for another experience in the near future. Fotini and Christo, keep up the good work!

Fotini and Cristol were wonderful hosts. My daughter and I lived learning the history of the dishes chosen. Everything was organized and the food was delicious. Grateful to have had this experience. Mickey was also a sweetie!

This was so much fun!! To think I was with Fotini and her assistant in her kitchen in Athens and I was in mine in Florida! We had this wonderful cooking experience together being many many miles apart. She made me feel to warm and welcome to her home. The one on one class was so well organized. Recipe was sent well before the class so I had everything ready. The recipes were just delicious and unique for me. Loved the flavors and especially the eggplant was a big hit with my husband. I will make this recipe many times again thanks to this class. Highly recommend

The cooking class with Fotini and the dinner itself proved very disappointing. First, Fotini barely did any cooking, neither did I. Most of it was prepared by her husband. Second, I had no opportunity to cook and learn -- all I did was cut parsley, crush bisquits and stir two dishes. Third, the food itself was not good, not salted, inferior to all other meals we had in restaurants during our weeklong trip to Greece. Lastly, Fotini was not forthcoming in responding to my questions about Greek cuisine and ingredients. Since I was alone in class I often felt uncomfortable when Fotini and her husband were leaving me alone in the kitchen and talking Greek between each other. In summary, it proved costly and fake experience, particularly in relation to other cooking classes we did with others.
