Used the service to go from the cruise ship (Athens) to the hotel. Driver was on time, easy to spot. Parked ver close to the cruise terminal. Did a great job. Next morning we went from the hotel to the Athens airport at 5:00am! Driver was there early, ready to go. Helped with luggage and got us to the airport without problem. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

I WON’T USE WELCOME PICKUPS AGAIN. We booked a transfer with Welcome Pickups in Phu Quoc (Vietnam) from the airport to our hotel on January 22, 2025. Their website gave us a great impression, it was very user-friendly. However, the transfer experience itself was mediocre, to say the least. First of all, no one was waiting for us with a card with our name at the arrivals (as the website promised), despite the fact that our flight was bang on on time. We had to run around the airport area looking for the driver, who we couldn’t find until we managed to connect to Internet and message him on WhatsApp. That was not all. We were 4 adults and 2 kids (2 and 4 years old), which we specified in the booking. We ordered one car seat for our 2-year-old and paid 4 or 5 euros for that. We assumed that we’d get a 6-seater. Instead, we were all made to squeeze in a standard 4-seat car. No car seat (for which we paid) was provided. Even if it was given to us, there was no way to seat us all in that car. We got to our hotel basically on top of each other and just vowed not use this service again.

They where there on time, with name card helped with bags, took us to the door of the hotel and carried cases in for us, i would recommend them, prices are reasonable, we travelled from the port into Athens,

Welcome Pickups refund policy is hidden on their website or app. It seems intentionally put in their booking pages in areas where you might not see it. Although they state you will get a refund if you cancel within the necessary time, it is not a full refund. It’s listed in their terms and agreement that it is only 80%. . So beware. I have had no success with trying to appropriately resolve the matter by contacting the company.

Booking with Welcome Pickups really made the trip to and from the airport stress free. The price is about what we would have paid for taxis. There were two guys right outside with our names on a tablet. The vehicles were nice. The drivers were friendly and offered good advice on the trip to our B&B. We have used them before in other cities and we would use them again.

Booked a minivan for a transfer. They assigned a corolla. The driver contacted me to say that they couldn't do the transfer. No assistance from Welcome Pickups. I have had to cancel the booking due to no contact and hoping I will get my 80% refund. Total scam at this point.

They cancelled my trip LESS THAN 10 HOURS before departure, at 20:30 in the evening when I needed a ride 05:30 in the morning the next day. I was lucky to find a replacement taxi that late with such short notice!! I tried calling their customer support 5 times over several hours with no answer. This company is a scam.

Total Scam. Beware of their cancellation policy. You cannot modify your booking less than 12 hours before your scheduled ride—not even by 30 minutes—and there are no refunds if you need to cancel for this reason. For Rome, they’re also extremely overpriced!

They didnt show up!!!!! We have booked them and pay for transfer online and afyer all they even dont want to give us money back. We were at airport at mombasa with bags and everything and suppose to ho to diani. When we contacted them they put the blame on jay ride(i think they colaborate in Kenya) and tell us is their fault. Also say that we did cancle reservation and we didnt!! Anyway we booked transfer on their site amd pay by the instruction they give to us so also they should take responsibility. I dont recomend to book anything throught them yhey will probably put blame on somebody else.

I had a pickup from the airport and then back to the airport from my hotel. My driver communicated well and promptly and the pickups went smoothly. I was really glad I did this instead of trying to take a taxi or ride the Metro train with luggage alone.

We booked our first pickup from Piraeus Port in Athens to our hotel in the city. Our driver Manos was absolutely awesome! Communication was easy. We texted him to see if he could come early and he responded right away and picked us up 30 minutes before our scheduled time. A great guy and he was SO FRIENDLY and gave us great advice on the city and what to see and what to eat! A+++++ The second pickup was from our hotel to the airport. Our driver Glykeria came at our requested 3 am time and she was terrific. Again, the communication was outstanding. We asked her if we could leave earlier and she talked us out of it as she said we had plenty of time at the airport and she was right. We got to keep that extra hour of sleep! Our experience overall for both trips was phenomenal. This new taxi app type company will be huge in the future. Highly recommend to check them out at least in Greece.

Driver failed to show as he had had an accident. He did not contact me. I had to phone him. He organised a replacement which I first accepted and then cancelled as it was going to be too late. We got other taxis. Welcome pickups are saying they supplied a replacement and therefore will not reimburse our money. The driver who picked us up at Frankfurt airport was patient and professional.

FRAUD. Welcome Pickups is a Fraud. I had booked airport transfer service that did not arrive at the airport for the pickup. When I contacted the driver in my confirmation he told me that his car broke down and he wouldn't be able to drive me and recommended that I take a taxi. About 90 minutes later I received a message saying that the driver had arrived at the airport, and that I was logged as a "no show." All this may sound like a normal operational hiccup, things happen you might think. It is only then that you realize that there is no way to email the company. The phone service allows a voicemail that never gets returned. When you click on "contact customer support" from your confirmation email it takes you to an FAQ page. The only way for me to get a refund was to call my credit card company and provide screenshots of the What's App conversation between me and the "driver."
