      Disappointed
Appalling service from Tripadvisor. Booked this and paid over $100 aud with no clear instructions. Walked to Acropolis and had to pay an extra 40 euro to go inside as the ticket was from 8-9am. This was only specified in a small heading on the bottom of a page! Tourist trap!

      A must see
The self guided tour was the best for our group. We loved the freedom to see it ourselves. Do some research before you go and it is a great time.

The museum was worthwhile but we should have just pre booked the entrance tickets
My wife and I toured the museum at the end of our travels. We had prebooked the tickets with the audio guide program online . We were not able to download the entrance tickets until the prior evening. The instructions were not very good. First we had to download an app and sign up. We then looked for this booking but it did not show up. I texted the tour operator and in a while our trip showed up in the app. There is no human guide but we were hopeful about the audio guide. Perhaps we were not patient enough but after about 10 minutes listening to it at the museum we gave up using it. We should have just gone with the museum’s audio guide. The museum itself was quite interesting.

      A must-see museum
This is an amazing museum for kids 10 and up. My daughter loves Greek history and mythology and she was in heaven. The restoration to the sites on the Acropolis is amazing. A must see in Athens. Tip: If you do not get the tickets in your US email in-box, just call the number. Because of data privacy, the tour company sometimes does not get US email addresses.

      Worth a Visit
I felt this museum was well worth the visit. It was not that big with a smaller upper level filled with pottery. It was air-conditioned and comfortable on a 100° day. Many Sculptures and artifacts from Athens and the surrounding area from 550- 150 BC approx. There were no maps of the actual museum layout on the wall or otherwise. The museum store had more books than usual for a museum store. Nice cafe.

      Thumbs up
THis is a one you can not miss. Just amazing history, objects and art. The Anthiokera mechanism is just amazing. Hard to understand how someone could build this device that long ago.

      Avoid HEADOUTKEYTOURS
"Headout" "Keytours" misleading information on Audio part of tour. Thus site pops up 1st with every search BUT is not the official Acropolis tour site. Audio information lacking.

      Hugely disappointed!!
We booked our Acropolis Tix with Clio Muse via Get Your Guide months before our trip. We chose the 8am entry to avoid the crowds. For some silly reason they don't send you the tickets with your receipt but via email the day before your tour. We were on a 30 hour flight from Australia without phone service, arriving in Athens the night before our Acropolis visit. We were twentieth in line at 7:30 am, waited nearly an hour and then were refused entry, being told to come back in the afternoon. We showed her our original 8am booking on our receipt but bad luck, we were turned away. I managed to phone Clio Muse and we were offered 10 am tix instead of the 1pm they sent us. So we queued up again with the hoards and were herded along (see pics). So upset! Totally ruined the first day of our holiday. DON'T BOOK WITH THEM!!

Easy to use and interesting stories
Once you download the app and your audio guides and ticket it’s all pretty easy to use. The guides were very clear and easy to listen to. It was easy to pause or skip around if you wanted to. Inevitably, the routes around some of the sites had been changed with works going on, but the interactive map in the app made it straightforward to work out where you should be and how to get there. All in all, we’d thoroughly recommend these guides and tickets. One improvement would be to have the ticket accessible from within the guides themselves so that you don’t have to go back to find your ticket once you’ve followed the directions to the site. There was an option to download the PDF ticket but we couldn’t get that to work.

Expensive pass, not worth the money
For me, it was not so convenient. March 25 a National Holiday, of course, everything closed. But on March 24 I needed all my time to visit the Acropolis, only. And then, on March 27, came the big surprise: Kerameikos, the Roman Agora, and all other small sites closed at 3 pm. We were only able to visit the Acropolis Museum and the Ancient Agora. I spent 108 euros por 2 people to visit only the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and the Ancient Agora.

      Like stepping back in history
Castel Sant' Angelo's self guided tour with the e-ticket was like stepping back in history. The audio guide told hidden stories, turning the visit into a journey of discovery.

      I would actually recommend it
Went to Athens during Christmas holidays with a couple friends. I came across Clio Muse Tours and we downloaded the city tour guide. I would highly recommend it as a great way to navigate through the historic parts of Athens and see some of the most interesting monuments of Greece. I think it is very enjoyable and easy to follow, it's a nice addition to your trip. I'd love if it also had some food recommendations along the way.

Total waste of time and money
Customer service is a catastrophe. The fees are booked immediately, but we were notified of the time of the visit and the tickets were issued just 30 minutes before the visit. Our two tickets were for different time slots. Audio guide didn’t have any more information than our guide book. A complete waste! And a frustrating complete lack of customer support.

Don’t spend the money. Audio tour at the Acropolis was so bad in terms of directions and the commentator droning on and on, we never used it for the rest of the attractions. Waste of money.

Dear Traveler, Thank you for your feedback. It seems that you may have started the audio tour from a different entrance than the one we instructed as the starting point (South Slopes entrance) . The Acropolis has two entrances, and if you begin from the other one, the directions don't align correctly. Best Regards, Olga, Marketing Dept.
