Ioannis (John) and his team are amazing. Personalized and very flexible. My family highly recommends Crispy Local! The trip to Mycenae to see the Mycenaean ruins was well worth the short drive and the stop at Nafplio with lunch at a local seafood restaurant was the trip of a lifetime.

This trip is one of the most favourite trips in Greece. My guide for this tour was Mr. Ioannis, a thorough gentleman. He knows the stories of each site right back of his hands. He has a wide knowledge on the Greek mythology and history along with current affairs. This trip is a long trip duration-wise as there are multiple stops. I was left to explore and see the sites at my own pace due to which I ended spending more time than it usually takes.
We stopped for lunch at a curated cafe in Nafplio which serves fantastic local food. The tour ended with a nice stroll in the beautiful bylanes of Nafplio. Though this is one of the longest day tours from Athens, never once you will feel bored as Ioannis keeps you engaged in interesting facts and stories about Greece.
This is a must do tour if you are ever visiting Greece and Crispylocal is the best tour provider you can find as they will customise as per your need.

We booked this private tour last minute and we are very glad that we did with Crispy Local! Totally professional and punctual driver, John really exceeded our expectations. The places were amazing and full of history! Greece is full of fascinating stories and myths. Last but not least, Nafplio town was the highlight of the tour. Quiet, clean and picturesque, its a place that we would come again to stay and explore more! The restaurant that John suggested was great and we tried some of the local wine, that we really enjoyed! We 100% recommend this tour with Crispy Local!

Ioannis is an incredible person and guide. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Ioannis made sure that we had what we needed at all times and was so beyond knowledgeable about everything Greece. From the history to all the local places to visit we were set the rest of our trip with his guidance and recommendations. There’s no way to not have an incredible with Ioannis!

2: We wanted to show a taste of the countryside for our guest friends. This trip was awesome. We saw many great archaeological places and heard a lot of mythology from our driver. He suggested a traditional tavern with authentic Greek dishes that our guests loved! The whole experience was great and we will book again with Crispy Local!

My daughter and I had a great day trip to Mycenae and a couple of other stops. Harry, our driver, made the day very pleasant for us and we had a great time chatting with him on the drive. Visiting the archeological site at Mycenae was the highlight of the trip for us and lunch in Nafplio was very nice. It’s such a pretty town. Overall it was a great day and I would recommend it as a day trip to anyone who is visiting Athens.

I really enjoyed this one day tour. The car (a Mercedes sedan) was very comfortable. Our chofer Giorgos was very profesional and kind. He explained us in detail all the tour stops, and was very knowledgeable on Greek history. We were able to enjoy the day at our own pace. This tour is ideal if you enjoy landscapes, history and archeological sites. The theatre of Epidaurus was my favorite!
Lunch was delicious. We went to a tavern in Nafplios and tried local Greek food. I strongly recommend the cheese pie!
Wear comfortable shoes, and bring sunscreen!

John was super communicative and took care of everything! This was a great day full of beautiful sites, interesting stories, and good food. John has built his company on the principles of great customer service and it showed. We enjoyed getting to know him on the drive and really learned a lot about Greece on the way to each site. We couldn’t have spent the day in a better fashion! High point of the trip! Highly recommend! Next time, private island tour!

Ionnis, being our driver proved to be prompt, informative and entertaining. He knows facts/myths and shares them in an entertaining way. We ended touching upon all kinds of Greek life in the now & then, making our day fly by!
The sites visited were quite interesting and you get a good idea of all that went on through the millenia.
Taking a private beats being on a bus and worth of the extra monies spent.
Highly recommended!
