    Nikki was the best guide!
My Dad (65 y/o) and I (33 y/o) were visiting Athens for 3 days and booked this tour for our first day. It was a great way to walk all over the city, try different foods, and learn about Athens. Our guide Nikki was absolutely perfect! She made the entire experience fun, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone. She is also a chef and grew up in Athens. We started the day in Syntagma Square and then walked to Harry's for delicious greek pies (think: Spanakopita!), a traditional greek breakfast food. We then had cheese, meats, a traditional lunch at the farmers market, and ended the tour with Greek coffee and dessert. Overall it was a wonderful tour and a really nice way to explore the city for our first day. I would highly recommend booking this and you would be seriously lucky to have Nikki as your guide!

Memorable Acropolis tour for the family
The whole family had a fantastic time on the Acropolis tour with our guide. He was so very knowledgeable and was great at keeping our children aged 12 & 8 engaged throughout the tour with his enthusiasm for Greek history & mythology. The story telling, visual aids & iPad really bought the Acropolis to life. We started at 8am and finished around 10am, avoiding big crowds & the heat of the day. Highly recommend - this was one of our family highlights from our recent trip to Greece.

Fun cooking lesson and tour of traditional Cretan village in Heraklion
We booked this tour at the last minute and were delighted when the operator agreed to start a bit early so we could catch our flight that was leaving out of Heraklion at 5 PM. When we arrived, the outside of the Cretan village did not look like much, but once we went inside it was truly magical. Our guide and teacher, Vicky, first took us on a tour of the village and museum, showing us what it was like to exist as either a poor farmer or wealthy farmer in a traditional Cretan village. This was so interesting and insightful, and I was glad we got to see the museum and learn about the local culture and traditions before learning to cook. We also toured an artist's shop (we came back later and bought some of her delightful mosaics) before starting our cooking lessons. The cooking lessons were so much fun. We were a group of three friends on a girls' trip, so this was a perfect excursion. We learned to make tzatziki sauce, an appetizer called dakos, some dolmas (which in Greece are sooo much better than in the US), two main dishes - one lamb and one chicken, a desert (cheese pie - which is fried philo dough with feta), and Greek coffee! While they were finishing up the cooking, we were served appetizers of bread, cheese, olives, wine, lemonade and Raki. Most of what we prepared was then served to us for lunch and we got to enjoy the beautiful views of the valley while chatting and relaxing. We also got a cooking school certificate and recipe book to take with us, which was very nice. I would definitely recommend this tour! Vicky was so sweet and made sure we had a great time!

    Traveling with Teens
Our family of 4 (mom, dad, and two teens) really enjoyed getting a tour of some places in Athens we wouldn't have explored otherwise. Our tour guide made us feel welcome from the start and had a deep knowledge of not just Athens, but Greek culture and food. We went to seven locations to try a variety of different items and dishes. At each location the vendors were prepared for our arrival and had a space or seats reserved for us which was quite nice. The teen members of our group are a bit more picky than us so they declined a few options. There were a few moments when I felt like maybe it wasn't worth bringing them, but then we would go to a location where they tried something new....and loved it. That was a HUGE win for me! Our group of 8 was the perfect size and by the end we all got to know each other quite well! I would highly recommend this tour for a group that is new to Athens or Greece and wants to get an idea of some places to go for a more authentic visit.

Great evening spent tasting outstanding Greek delights!
Our guide Rita was perfect for this tour. She was very easy to talk to, explained our itinerary, made sure we all stayed together, were all enjoying things and was a genuinely delightful individual. We visited a store that specialized in Greek products and did an olive oil tasting, tried Mastiha, and pistachio butter. All delightful. Moved on to a Pitta restaurant and each picked out our own Pitta. Rita explained each. I chose beef and thoroughly enjoyed it. Then we visited a high end wine bar where we sampled five delicious Greek wines along with crackers, cheese & marmalade and were informed on each by a local sommelier. Then we went to another restaurant and Rita ordered first, a tray of multiple Greek spreads & pita bread which we all sampled and shared; then a set of approx. 5 different Greek mains which we all shared. Oh yes there was also Reeki(spelling) and ouzo to share. Then off for gelato. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening with an excellent guide, some lovely people and a ridiculously wide variety of outstanding authentic Greek food & wine. I highly recommend this tour.

    Delicious journey
The Athens food and wine tour was a delightful journey through the heart and soul of Greek cuisine. Our guide's flexibility, friendliness, and relaxed pace made it an unforgettable experience. The variety of stops, from food tastings to wine and olive oil, offered a well-rounded exploration of Greece's culinary heritage. I left with a full heart and a satisfied palate, grateful for the opportunity to discover the rich flavors of this beautiful country. If you're a food and wine enthusiast visiting Athens, this tour is an absolute must!

    Wonderful experience.
We decided on the Santorini Sunset Wine Experience after doing much research and am so glad we did. Our guide Elena was amazing and the tour was so much fun. Elena explained all the wines and treated us like kings and queens. She answered our questions and made us all feel welcome. Our group had so much fun we decided to go out as a group after the tour for drinks. I highly recommend the tour and suggest you ask for Elena as your guide.

    Amazing acropolis tour for kids!
This was such an amazing tour to do with our kids. The tour guide was so engaging and gave us so much information about everything we were seeing. My kids used the iPad option they offer, and they loved being able to see how the Acropolis used to look as the guide gave us background information into what we were seeing. The tip of going early in the day was definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this tour for families. We were able to enjoy what we were seeing so much more. Absolutely loved it, and so did my entire family.

Eva was absolutely THE BEST guide we could have asked for. She was incredibly knowledgeable and very patient as we asked a million questions! She was super friendly and energetic as we hiked all over the acropolis. We really felt a personal connection to her and that made the experience that much more enjoyable!

We've already recommended you to several of our friends who are planning on coming to visit from the United States in the near future!

Thank you again for a very memorable experience!

As a travel agent, my goal is to provide my clients with excellent tours and services. I couldn't be happier with Greeking.me and their Private Acropolis & Museum tour. It was excellent. Our guide, Stavroula (Stevie) was a wealth of information and truly loved her job and it showed. She made Greek history come alive for us!

Maria gave my husband and me a tour of the Acropolis a few weeks ago and I want to thank you. This is the first time we have ever paid for a tour like this and it was hands down the best money we spent; specifically because we got you as a tour guide. She made all the difference in our tour. If it hadn’t been for her and her enthusiasm and knowledge we wouldn’t have appreciated 75% of what it was we were looking at it. I was so excited after the tour that when we came home to the states the next day I bought a Greek Mythology book and a book called the Rise and Fall of Athens. She is really good at what she does and I am so grateful we had the pleasure of meeting her. She was a critical part of our amazing experience in Athens. Thank you so much!!!
