This was an outstanding experience! We were 3 couples and had a private tour along the market streets of Athens. Guide was very flexible in our timing and allowing for a couple of extra stops to watch the changing of the guard before our tour started. Highlights were the stops at Harry's Pies and the walk through the meat market - but really enjoyed all of the food samplings! We ate sooooo much great food! Thank you for a wonderful experience - strongly recommend this tour.

I highly recommend this Athens small group walking food tour to try out some of Athen's most famous specialities. We had a such a wonderful time trying really wonderful food in places that you probably wouldn't go on your own, learning the history of Athens through its food. While I would recommend doing this on day one, we did it on our last day in the city and still would go again and again!

I had a great time, enjoyed every minute. Thanks to Rita i learned a lot about the culinary background of the wines and dishes we had. Good food, good Wine.

This tour was really very good. It included 5 different stops to taste food and wine. It even included a stop to taste olive oil. The tour guide was knowledgeable, patient, and the pacing was just right. The food was great, tasty, and portions were perfect.

Amazing experience on this small group tour. We stopped at 7 different locations, sampling a wide variety of Greek cuisine. The food was diverse and excellent, but our guide Niki was the best. At each stop, and in between, she explained what we were eating, how it was made, and where locals eat. She answered our questions about everything from food to the city and even gave us recommendations for our next stops in other cities. We left feeling happy and full, and also with a new appreciation for Greek food!

This tour was amazing! Mini was our tour guide. She was on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The places we visited were incredible and the food and wines were delicious! I would highly recommend this tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, our guide was able to engage the whole family of 2 adults a 13 year old and a 10 year old. We loved the mix of history and mythology. Highly recommend

This is an excellent food and cultural experience. We enjoyed our guide Mini (sp?), our group, the food destinations, and the walk. There was a lot of delicious food and camaraderie- really super enjoyable.

We loved our tour! Our guide Manos was endlessly knowledgeable about Greek food, culture, and history. He was entertaining and really engaged us in conversation, answering all our questions about food and anything else. He seemed to know all the locals, including random people we passed on the street! We really enjoyed speaking with the shop owner and his wife at one of the stops. Manos really painted a picture of what it’s like to live in Greece in the past and present. It is hard to point out food highlights because everything was SO GOOD, but the pies, cheese, and food market really stood out. If you want to try authentic Greek staples this tour is for you. We would never have been able to find all these hidden gems on our own. We were completely stuffed by the end. We are so glad we did this tour at the beginning of our trip because Manos was FULL of great recommendations for food and things to do. He even gave us recommendations for the islands we will be visiting in Greece. Cannot recommend enough!!

Excellent tour, excellent food, great guide! the food started interesting (local bagel, delicious but just a snack, if I had known better what was coming would have tasted and saved most for later, same with the fried dough very good and new but...). And it got better fast. The rest of the tour was super excellent, you really got a feel for the local cuisine. Nika was an excellent guide explaining everything, and how it related to how locals really eat. We got a good feel for the food history of the area, the local markets, wines , and tispouro. Highly recommended!!!!

Can't recommend this tour highly enough. Our guide, Nikki, was excellent- knowledgeable, friendly, fun. Learned loads about Athens and Greek life, as well as the local food. Gave us a real feel for the city. Relaxed pace with loads of stops. Plenty of time to ask questions. Didn't feel rushed in any way. So well paced. Recommend doing this at the beginning of your holiday like we did as it sets you up for your stay.

My wife, daughter, son in law and I were in Athens to celebrate my 65th birthday. We did this tour on our first full day. Meani was our tour guide and was incredible! We cannot say enough nice things about her! The food was great and the wine and liquor outstanding.. If you have the time we would definitely recommend this tour.

Fantastic experience, the guide was extremely knowledgeable and I loved hearing about the history and culture behind dishes. There are so many tasty stops. One of the highlights of our trip. If you are going to do any food tour, look no further than this one! :)
