Athens, Greece,: where the awe-inspiring Acropolis Hill stole the show, closely followed by its stunning sidekick, the Parthenon. Our travels took us from Athens to Corinth, visiting the ruins and the Corinth Canal, retracing the steps of Apostle Paul. Fotus was our tour guide. He did a fantastic job!

What a beautiful tour! We drove along the rocky coastline and arrived at the Cape Sounio site to see the Temple of Poseidon. What an amazing experience! The guide was fantastic and paced the tour well. He was an architect and described the temple's amazing structural components. I highly recommend this tour.

We did 6 tours with Athens Tours Greece with a party of 9. In Greece and one in Turkey. All were successfully completed with excellent drivers and guides. On several occasions the tour operators and guides went way beyond of what would be expected of them with helping at a pharmacy in Rhodes, buying a carpet in Ephesus (after we had returned to the ship). The guides were all punctual, very friendly and informative. All the vehicles were in excellent condition and very comfortable. The Itineraries were excellent as were the prices. We were very impressed with this company and would gladly use them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

We did not want to visit any archaelogical sites so we had a longer stop in New Corinth and we had more time hiking to the top the Acrocorinth. We also extended the tour to 10 hours to have more time in Nafplio. It was a lovely day trip with Theodore who was very friendly and knowlegable.

We had been on a cruise and our flight wasn’t until 10.15 pm so had a full day to find something to do with two weeks of luggage. I can highly recommend as they picked us up from the port took us out visiting various interesting historical sites at our leisure. The driver was informative and very sociable. Went out of his way to ensure we had a good day. It is a long day but can highly recommend. We were then dropped off at the airport to check in.

OK! So to start I have to say that we booked this tour with a driver only not a guide at the sites. Which if you have the money for both do it! I would have loved an actual tour guide. Most other countries I can hire one on the spot. Not so in Greece they have to be licensed. So book everything ahead of time. Second, we had one day before our tour to explore. We stayed at a hotel in Plaka. Which was cool but because we had a whole day to walk around the coolest part of Athens (other than the archeological sites) we say many of the things on our tour the following day. SOOOOO I say that to say this. I would have 100% wanted a walking guide with me on our day in Athens. To further explore the sites, understand its significance and much more. However don't ditch your drive because he took us all around Athens showed us the city and was a wealth of knowledge. Lunch was awesome and that alone was worth paying for a driver. Corinth was very nice and was awesome. Once again a tour guide would have been ideal. All in all it was great I 100% recommend this company and their tours.

We arrived in Piraeus by cruise ship. Our driver was waiting for us in a large comfortable car. Since we had been to Athens a number a of times before - we wanted to just visit the Plaka and then go outside of Athens, Unfortunately for us there was a major bicycle race closing down most of downtown (it was a Sunday). Our drive was heroic in navigating the streets to get us to the Plaka. From there we drove south to Sounion to visit the Temple of Poseidon. A great drive with beautiful views. The Temple of Poseidon is well worth the visit, if you have the time. We arrived back at our cruise ship timely. I highly recommend Athens Tours

Our guide/driver, Fotos, arrived early - which was great since we departed earlier than expected. He was a very safe driver. And offered water throughout the tour. He was very knowledgeable and talked about the areas that we were driving through and had great recommendations on what to do/see in our 4 hour tour. He would drop us off to see the chosen sights, and then either stayed close in the car or was just a text away. Fotos also gave us excellent recommendations for dinner.

Very efficient method of booking on line with excellent interaction with tour operators. On the day of our tour Photos our driver and guide was on time. Excellent and pristine vehicle . Photos was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and an excellent driver. Very enjoyable tour - would recommend to all

We were absolutely stoked. Our guide was amazing!! He was waiting for us when we disembarked from the ship in Athens and he went out of his way to show us the best sights of Athens, including pre-arranged, skip the line tickets to the Acropolis. We could feel his love for his country and he went way beyond our expectations! He literally took us everywhere! We saw so much thanks to him. We also felt very safe with him. He was an excellent driver, he looked after our luggage for the whole time, and he was always making sure we were OK, and delivered us and our luggage safely to the airport at the end of it all. Our gentleman driver was excellent. He gave us a lot of history as we traveled toward Meteora. It was a long day but did not feel that way due to care our driver gave us.

First off, my husband booked the incorrect date by a week so this company could have chosen to not accommodate us, but not only did they work with us to be able to still go, they busted their butts to make sure we enjoyed the experience while also still valuing their employees who came in to do our unexpected tour. That says a lot about a company! We had two drivers to accommodate our last minute tour on their schedule, and both drivers were great but for different reasons. Both were natives and extremely knowledgeable of the landmarks and areas we visited. The second driver was hilarious and made the drive from place to place a fun experience l, while our morning driver was more extroverted so he would share more freely without us asking questions we didn’t really know to ask. The stops on the tours were a perfect introduction to Athens, but despite driving from place to place, we were exhausted so giving ourselves a day to work off the jet lag prior to doing the tour was a good decision on our part. You get to walk a lot so we would have been hurting had we done it the day after our US 10hr flight into Athens. The 2 things we didn’t realize is they do not go into the landmarks with you so when we got there, we were left to figure out if we were going to rent the automated headphone tour, read every sign along the way, or listen to other people’s tour guides (strong frowned upon and they have NO SHANE telling you to move along if you’re not part of their group). The only one we really wished we would have had a tour guide was in the Acropolis Museum. Getting into each location was a breeze as long as you didn’t follow everyone else in line like humans usually do. Since we had tickets already, we went around majority of the lines of people who were waiting to purchase/acquire their tickets and got to the front. The Acropolis Museum was far too big to cover in the 90 min they give because we are big museum people, so we went back after our tour concluded and used previous tickets for re-entry. I am not sure if all the places allowed for re-entry but that was a perk to this company’s tickets. Lunch was phenomenal- our driver took us to his home town and fav restaurant called The 3 (or was it 5) F’s or something close to that. We sat outside and they brought us about 7-8 main dishes to all try. It was so cool to try food popular in Greek culture, but since they picked all the options we were able to try foods we never would have even considered that were YUMMY. If you are a vegetarian, you need to let the company know ahead of time to tell the restaurant. Our group all agreed, this was definitely worth the price and yes, they appreciate being tipped despite what you read online!

My Husband and I took Athens Tours. Our Tour guide Nick Petros was AWESOME!!! He picked us up at our hotel. He took us to Hardian's Gate, the Partheon, Changing of the Guard, and places we did not know existed. He was so nice, knowledgeable, provided Greek hospitality and made out experience very pleasent. If I get back to Athens, I would like to take different tours with Athens Tour. I would request Nick Petros if we could get him.

In September we chose this tour company for our extra day in Athens after our Greek Isles Cruise. This company goes above and beyond to accommodate you! We arrived at our hotel early so I texted to see if they could come earlier. No problem. Our driver Demetrius was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and took us to all the attractions, had our tickets for each one and waited for us with the air running in the decked out Mercedes van. He had water for us and even did a few impromptu stops for us. The lunch that is included with this tour was the best Greek food of our entire trip. It is small family owned restaurant and we still talk about how wonderful it was. We would never have been able to take in Athens and see all we did without this wonderful tour. I would use them again without question.

We came from Canada for 3.5 weeks to Greece. Arrived in Athens and had 2 days to explore before heading out for island hopping. We chose Athens Tours Greece to book the "Revolutionary 8-hour The Best of Athens Private Tour". It was an excellent day of sight-seeing, information and covered everything we wished to see (Acropolis Parthenon, Propilyea, Dionysus Theatre, Odeon Theatre, Erechthion, Areopagus, Greek Agora/Roman Agora, Hadrian's Arch, Temple of Zeus, the Panathenean Stadium, where we requested a stop to go inside where the first modern Olympic games were held in 1896, changing of the guards ceremony at the Parliament building, driving through Syntagma Square, driving by the Academy of Arts, the University of Athens, the National Library, Lycabettus Hill, etc). From start to finish, all the customer service representatives were professional, eager to answer any questions, very prompt with replies by email and a pleasure to engage with Thank-you so much for all your help Demetra, Asimina, and Danai you are the best! Everything was taken care of with respect to tickets for the Acropolis, including our request to book a private, licensed guide for 2 hours at the site (Ioanna was fantastic), tickets to the Acropolis Museum, etc. This tour was really well put together and we did not feel rushed at all, even though there was lots to cover. It gave us a good feel for the history and city, so that we could go back to areas and do more exploring on our own another day. Our driver, Fotis, was really knowledgeable, friendly and he drove us to an amazing taverna for lunch that he recommended - the food was incredibly delicious - we took his suggestion of trying the mezedhes - various plates/appetizers of Greek foods - fava, giant beans, pork meatballs, beef, etc. It was one of the best meals of our entire trip! I highly recommend booking services with Athens Tours Greece. We came home with fantastic pictures and memories of our time in Athens thanks to everyone!
